Eli DThe staff are friendly and helpful. The check in process streamlined. As with most rental locations I’ve used, it doubles as a vehicle repair shop, busy with cars either waiting for service or complete and waiting for pickup. This could create a challenge to some that aren’t skilled in maneuvering and backing trailers, as parked cars are in scattered places around the lot. This particular location keeps the rentals on three different lots that they either lease or own. One requires crossing fairly busy road to rent or park. Not particularly a bad thing, just know it could create a hazard in walking/crossing from the rental office to the lot that has your rental (and vice-versa) with not a lot of road frontage. On a real positive note. There appeared to be a substantial inventory of rentals.

KAREN SCharged an inaccurate missing/damage fee of 200$. On top of charging for "Extra milage" on an unlimited mileage uhaul.. And incorrect fuel fees were added as well. I called the location to see about a correction & refund and was told to call their 1800 claims number, which can take as much as TWO WEEKS to process. All to correct over 300$ worth of their incorrect charges. Stay far far away from this place if you dont want to pay 500+ for nothing but a headache.

KAREN SVery disappointed.Tried to contact about leaving it at a different location and pricing. Got charged $186.00 for wrong drop off. Ridiculous! Will never use u-haul again! Said on contract there would be a fee for wrong drop off but did not let me contact or select anything else.

Jeffery MI just suggested you inform me of the steps when you rent and you have to return after labor hours; maybe you have to give a digital tour about the process that you have to do in the app when you return your Uhaul. Another thing is that I have not received the receipt for my transaction

SHALENA C1817 Dixie hwy location was great. The first location I was sent was awful. They “lent” my reserved equipment to a friend and caused me to waste gas and time back tracking to another location, time on the phone to setup a new reservation, and this left me in 5:00 traffic that took more of my time. When I prompted the conversation with U-Haul to make an adjustment for the ridiculous situation, they did absolutely nothing. I spent more unnecessary money on gas than I did on the rental. Because of this, I have decided that after 20 years of business with Uhaul, I will be working with their competition going forward. This is compounded by my last experience where I was told that my rental truck two years back would have to be picked up 2 hours away up into the mountains in another state after having reserved it nearby causing me to lose 5 hours of moving time which I had paid labor waiting on me. Never again, I’m done.

MARK TLocation was fine but I had an issue with picking up the truck that I booked. I got an email from Uhaul which was about an update with the new pick up location. I took a taxi and arrived on time. I told I'm here to pick up the truck, but the person said they did not have a truck that was supposed to be there for me. I called Uhaul service centre and she said I had to go to Calhoun. I did not want to spend another time and money to pick up a truck. Somehow she found a truck that was available but I had to return it by 11 next morning. I do not know what exactly caused this issue because nobody told me, but if Uhaul double booked, this should be stopped.

KAREN SI chose Harris service center to do business with for their customer service that’s always dependable, then Uhaul tries to send me to another location to pick truck up.Corporate Uhaul is trying to dictate where they want you to do business with. I’m the one paying the bill and I’ll rent from Harris no matter how many times they try and move my rental elsewhere.

KAREN SObviously I should have taken a picture of the mileage before leaving as I was charged 100 miles more than I drove. Dalton to Atlanta 95 miles and prompt return. Arrived 10 minutes after closing so was still charged for the second day. Website would not allow return to be entered a day prior to scheduled return. AC on truck was minimal on a 90+ degree day.
KATHLEEN ESeems like everyone wants to just use the phone to get everything done, not me personally I like to rent from a live person. Harris service center always makes me feel at home.
JOY TThe location was fine other than guy put the wrong mileage in so totally messed up my after hour return. I had to wait at the location after dark for U-Haul to contact me back and go through hoops and wasted 45 minutes of my time trying to get it returned and then to still be billed wrong and had to spend more time on phone with U-Haul.
