Please make sure the truck is cleaned and a text would’ve been nice when I mixed up the return date.

DEBORAH HMy pick-up was scheduled and confirmed for 10:00 am. However, no one was there to assist me, the vehicle was not assigned for me to do an online pick-up, and I was 45 minutes late getting my vehicle.
MATTHEW HBacking the truck out into a busy gas station parking lot made me nervous. It would be nice if the trucks were turned around so you could leave by driving forward.
RICHARD HParking designation, arrived and found larger truck parked in middle of lot instead of in the row of other trucks. I was able to drive around it to park inline .
joseph iThe process took 2 hours past the original pick up time & it seems U-Haul took that from my deposit. Even tho I returned the truck well within the 24 from the ACTUAL TIME i drove out of the lot. Not too pleased.

Nicholas WThe people had no idea how to find my reservation or fill out the proper paperwork to get my rental ready. I was there for 1.5 hours speaking with gas station attendants and Uhaul representatives on the phone trying to figure out the reservation I made 7 days in advance. Furthermore, I tried to fill up with gas at Harrys after the rental and the pumps were broken. Therefore, I could not put the $7 worth of gas into the UHAUL and was charged not only for the gas but also a $30 fee. Such a frustrating experience that I would recommend to no one.
Caroline PI thought it was an excellent experience. It really couldn't have been any easier compared to other Uhaul experiences. I didn't have to mess around with the app for check out or check-in. I was helped by the guy behind the counter for both check-out and check-in.

Theresa RThis is a gas station, that is their first priority. If your expectations in picking up a U-Haul are to wait over and over again while people buy lottery tickets only to find out that the person who should be doing the rental has no idea how to use U-Haul’s system just so you can pick up an extremely dirty poorly maintained truck. Then this location is for you.
Jim P19.95 is a lie. It cost $72 to rent the uhaul. Customers appreciate honest advertisement.

michael rCustomer service was horrible at pick up, the person at the front made us feel as if we were going to steal the truck. He also ask me for my card info and when I told him I have already put it in the system, he insisted and said I was arguing with him because I ask why he was putting a hold on my card. (My first time renting for in-town moving). I know I should have remembered I read about the hold but I was tired and he confused me. Long story short. Pay the extra miles if this is the closes place to you... just go a few miles farther. Person at pick up was polite and fast to check us out.

Aaron JCouldn't finish doing what I needed to do. The transmission was really bad. It wouldn't shift gears and it would surge. I brought it back as for a refund was denied, then I told him it was unsafe to let anyone drive it. He drove it around the parking lot and said it seems fine. Very poor customer service he told me he didn't want to cancel the other reservation. People's safety should come before money

Elijah CWhat an amazing check-in/registration process??!! It had been a while since I rented U-Haul truck. I loved the way that the text message initiation is done and the customer is able to do everything from their phone. Everything was super easy and the customer representatives during truck rental as well at storage facility were super friendly and helpful. Thank you!
Mohan RThere should be a dedicated area for U-Haul so that you do not have to wait in line with the regular store customers. The store is clean and well lighted, the staff is very friendly and I did feel like a valued customer.

Kiara EThe lady that checked me in was very rude. She could not be bothered to stop what she was doing and made me wait for 5 minutes while she stood there and completed whatever menial task was at hand. After having been in customer service for over 20 years, I'm well aware of how customers should be treated. She was completely put out by me being there, so I would recommend people go to other locations where the employees might have time for you. I had the reservation under my middle name, which is what I go by. It's on my ID. But she decided to grill me about why I didn't put my 'name', and decided to grow me about my identity instead. If she had to taking the time to properly check me in and review my driver's license, she would have seen that that is on there and that is my name. I'm not even properly checked out, but I do get a notice today that is worded very hatefully threatening with extra fees. Because she didn't do her due diligence, and has zero business being involved with customers.
Gwendolyn SSystem to review truck is terrible. Won't let customer download pictures of damage. Truck had engine light on and tire maintenance lights flashing. Plus someone had been smoking weed in that truck.

Bradly PI checked in online, but I had to go through the same check in when I got there. The location had one employee working the mini market register and the uhaul counter at the same time, so all in all, it took me about 30 minutes to get the truck. Additionally, I rented equipment, dolly’s and hand trucks. The attendant informed me when I was checking in that they didn’t have any equipment. So, I had to make sure I wasn’t charged and it took me twice a long to move, resulting in having to rent the truck for an extra day. Overall this location is poorly managed.
Eva CI walked in and got it quick and easy with an estimate ready and personally had friendly people with no major issues, and paid around $1 more than the estimate.
LUIS AI ordered moving pads because I had furniture to move they told me they did not have any because somebody else had them
Charles STruck was not swept out. Inside floor covered in red mud (dried). Inside & out truck reeked of weed! Someone had a party in it and did a lot of smoking!! Roll up door had been dented in quite heavily & didn’t open without 2 people pulling REALLY hard. Husband hurt his shoulder doing this. No warning of any of this. We drove all the way home- couldn’t open it- drove all the way back- paying for mileage. We should receive a hefty refund on this. We’re frequent customers but Ill rent elsewhere next time.
Robert BThis was awful. My confirmation and my reservation was for a totally different location. I literally had to go to four different locations to finally “find” my truck! Once found the truck was filthy! It had a disgusting rug thrown on the floor which would have been dangerous driving with it. There was some sort of white powdery stuff around the cup holders, I was tempted to have the police check to see if was an illegal substance. The warning lights were on due to low tire pressure and rolling the window down was a challenge as the handle was broken. Plus my cost went up as it was distance from where I needed to use it. Uhaul should be ashamed.
JODY LTruck was full of dirt, leaves, acorns and various metal pieces (nails, springs etc) in back. Cab had plastic spoons and trash in cubbies and dirt all in floor. Truck was completely empty in gas so bringing it back at same level is impossible since I don’t want to be stranded. Wasn’t allowed to park there while I rented the truck. After all of that I was double charged which the later returned but cause my bank to hit me with an overdraft fee of $36. I’m tightly budgeted but would have been just fine had that not occurred. I use uhaul for catering regularly. I usually use the west Athens location and have never had these issues.

Jade FTruck was dirty, not full of gas. We went thru torrential rain and wipers were shot. Had to put new ones on. Coming home, was getting dark and headlights were 15’ in front of truck
Debra KTruck was nasty. Soda was spilled in cup holder and full of ants. Location had not cleaned the truck at all inside or out. Truck got us to our destination in one piece so mechanically it was good

ELTON MThe van had no air conditioning and had engine issues. We tried calling costumer service. After almost three hours of having us connect with other uhaul representatives they hung up. We lost almost 3 hours of moving trying to get a better uhaul. In sum, a terrible experience!
