This was the perfect place to rent a U-Haul. Plenty of parking. Although it looks small because it is inside the Hasty Mart. Hement explained everything about the rental so there were no surprises. He was great. So helpful. We would definitely rent from there again.

As I had a couple changes during the reservation Uhaul was easy to reach and to work with my change in plans

The clerk was very friendly but their system didn’t allow for a deposit nd on the phone with U-Haul we were told a deposit is required and then we pay the balance when we reach out and destination. Because their system didn’t allow deposits we were stuck paying on multiple cards as we didn’t expect to pay such a large amount one time

This was a terrible experience from start to finish. We would never recommend UHaul to anyone, let alone a friend or family member. We will never use them again. First, the initial pick-up location changed, taking away kilometres we needed and paid for to use (not go out of our way because the company couldn't meet the booking location requested well over a month in advance). Second, the individual at Hasty Market (pick-up location) changed the agreed to drop-off time without informing us. Upon returning the UHaul we were sent to a drop-off location at an additional 22km away from us, adding to and taking away from the kilometres required, when a UHaul drop-off location is located 4.8km away. The drop-off location then claimed we went over the agreed to kilometres and charged us an additional fee. Robbery. As well, they tried to charge us for returning it late when we actually returned it earlier. In short, robbery and scam. Every chance this company got you tried to get more money out of us while robbing us of the kilometres required. Will never recommend these locations (Hasty Market Guelph and Ultramar Durham). Have already informed everyone we know of the scam and robbery and the locations involved to ensure no one has to suffer like we had to. Moving is a stressful time and instead of being an honorable, trustworthy and reliable service, UHaul is slimy, untrustworthy and a scam. Every change these locations got they tried, and successfully, scammed and overcharged.
