Cashier was so rude and unprofessional. He even yelled with abusive words. No wonder he just have no customers. I use u-haul for most of my large goods transport but never again coming back to that location

I did not get my “receipt” emailed to me when the truck was returned to the location. The gentleman was quite abrupt and wanted the truck moved to the back of the location. He did tell me I would get a receipt in an hour. I never got it. U-Haul sent me reminders to take the truck back. The main office did call me and I explained the issue. They were wonderful to discuss this location. I called again 2 days later (Easter Sunday) and the gentleman was very nice and said he would get word to the district manager to close it off if need be. Would not use this location at all. I picked up a truck here this past August and had issues getting the truck and should have known better then drop the truck off here. Use a different location!!

He didn’t know the price and I got overcharged it and I will never order U-Haul ever again and I will recommend to other people’s too. You guys are a bunch of Steelers You guys charging not per kilometre per mile I live in Canada so it should be kilometre not miles this is called stealing from the customers. God is watching.
WALID WWaited for over 45 mins for my U-Haul from the booking when I needed it for a specific time. 20 mins in I asked if I should cancel and try and find elsewhere. All I was told was five minutes. The cashier remained on the phone with someone but did not explain what was going on at all. When I did get the U-Haul he did not do an inspection at all.
JENNIFER KIt was a hassle to get started when I got there and took 2 different people to figure it out. Very hard to understand them as well. They over estimated on the gas that was in the truck to begin with when I started up the truck. I returned the truck after hours as per the agreement and the app trying to return the truck wasn’t connecting and wouldn’t upload the picture. I hit the button it said to when having issues and it brought me to a page telling me to drop the keys in the drop box and someone from U-Haul would contact me. The store in the morning reported to the company that I did not return the truck at all. If they weren’t complete idiots they should have realized the truck was parked behind their store with the keys in the drop box. The store seemed very shady and I will never rent from that location again. U-Haul customer service was very nice and helpful with the whole situation afterwards and listened to our concerns.

Barry WEngine light and tire light was on. I had to risk it as I was on a deadline and it was only a 12 mile total rental. They then charged me $12 or so for gas whereas the needle didn’t even move. That is fine but the negligence of renting a truck with two issues should have warranted something. Counter attendant blamed U-Haul policy. I’m sure the U-Haul policy isn’t to rent vehicles with known issues.
Donald DThe person receiving the vehicle was rude, pushy and did not provide customer service as was provided in other locations. Insisted the truck was over mileage in spite of extra mileage provided because of change in pick up location. Told us to leave now and he would send an invoice.
DOUGLAS BThus location was not a good experience. When I arrived I told the person working there that I was picking up a truck that I reserved. He said "you want to rent a truck?" I said no, I reserved one. He then a call to another person who wanted to talk to me. I spoke to a woman who asked my name then said she old call back in 5-10 minutes. She called back and spoke to the clerk and had him call a number on the store phone. When he put the call through he handed the phone to me and I spoke to a gentleman in Burlington. He said he saw my reservation. He requested the information he needed which I gave him. I asked if there was an appliance cart on the truck. He said to look around the store to see if there was one there. I could not see one so I told the person on the phone that Ido not see any. I asked the clerk if he had any appliance carts. He did not understand what I was asking for. I said to him a dolly for moving freezers. He said no. The person on the phone said he would remove the cost of the appliance cart. I told him I needed it as I was moving two freezers. He said if the store does not have one there was nothing he could do as he was in Burlington. I suggested another location. He said it would take a while to contact other locations to confirm if they had one. I told him there was another place close by. He said he would text them to see if they had an appliance cart. After a few minutes he said they have one. He then asked to speak to the clerk who was with a customer. While I waited I wandered around the store and found two appliance carts and a 4 wheel dolly stuffed behind a freezer. Told the guy on the phone I found one in the store. The man on the phone confirmed the truck was there and after checking it out we were finally on our way.

Which I had to pay extra 190$ for two additional hours. The key that was put on the door didn’t open the lock Person had to come from Hamilton. To help. Which delayed is more.

WARD NUse the information I already have on my profile instead of wasting my time at pickup to redo everything that I already entered. This has happened everytime I rent on of your vehicles.
