Steven BThe lift gate was frozen shut and the lever handle and door gasket caked in ice. We poured boiling water on the mechanism and along the gasket at the rear bumper for a while but if a kindly neighbour had not come with a pry bar we would not have been able to open the back of the truck. If this location parked with the back of the truck facing south instead of north this problem could be assuaged by warming sunlight when the trucks are parked.

ROBBIE CI went to three different locations before I found this one that would take the vehicle back.. when the vehicle was picked up I was not provided with a drop off point. I was simply told any location in St. Thomas would be suitable.. as a result I went over my mileage limit and had to pay extra. Extremely poor service.

DALE HCouldn't return with proper paperwork because he said he couldn't log in?? Had no proof we dropped off. I returned at 2 pm and it says 7pm. We paid for 4 days, returned early, and had no refund??

Wallace DThe staff met my every changing need! I rented the same truck three times in a week. My emergency situation due to an electrical fire in the cieling left me temporarily homeless. I had to get the stuff out and into a locker. Thank you very much U-Haul.
Dan BI had to wait 1.5 hours to be dispatched - There was a technical issue apparently due to an "offer" that I got - to transport a trailer one way to Toronto. On top of wasiting time with my 3 kids+baby on site, I had to contact the UHAUL support in a long distance call which cost me over 30$. The Trailer that I was asked to transport to Toronto in return for 50$, had a dented attachment mechanism and it fell off the truck about 500 meters after I exited the pickup location in Saint Thomas. This was dangerous, frightening and wasted another hour during a busy day. I wat a refund for the lost time, phone fee and dangerous experience on a busy day.
Gilad RThe person working at hasty mart checked us in and recorded the mileage and fuel and everything that he said was ready to go when we returned it the person working said the begging mileage and fuel was not in for the pickup day and said just a minute . Then said she found it and it was all set which they put in the mileage and fuel from the last rental which someone must have used the truck between without a rental put in. We moved in town 1.2km between houses and did 4 trips back and fourth and returned the truck and put $20 of gas in more than enough and the gauge was higher than when we picked it up. We then got a bill saying we drove about 37km and an additional $40 of gas for about 10km of driving we actually did. I am never using this location again and if I use uhaul I will do self check in. It's sad when you can't trust someone supposidly checking in your uhaul to not try and rip you off uhaul helped me a little but can't do much since I didn't have before pictures which I didn't know I needed when the person getting the Key's and checking me in said everything was ready to go .... very disappointed
JOSEPH LI wouldn’t recommend this location at all. The sunset location is much better. This location the staff gave miss information. Vehicle had less gas then on contract. Vehicle had more km in the vehicle then expressed 100km to be exact and that could be expensive. I was told the rental would be refunded because of the dirty truck. And a sign they left in the back of the truck blowing out and more. The. After returning it the staff was telling me one story then telling the area manager another story. So it was a battle to even get the rental discounted to a regular rate. I had to email proof and multiple phone calls. And almost was charged for the km I didn’t drive and gas that wasn’t there. It shouldn’t be this hard and never has been in the past. This new location needs training and from here forward we may have to use another company because I don’t feel we were taken care of accordingly
Wayne Wwhen i went to pick up the truck both the back and the cab had not been cleaned and were extremely dirty and full of garbage. When i complained to the guy he didnt really seem to care. I had to clean it upon getting it and returning it. very disappointed in that for the price i paid.

Nancy SI had a very confusing experience this time. I rented a truck from one location and was sent to another location across town to pick up. When I arrived at the pick up location, the U Haul website was down and had to wait. The dealer gave me the truck eventually and had to do the sign in process later in the day over the phone. They were very accommodating but not a very smooth transaction this time however I would rent from them again in the future.
