The place was fine but I had a difficult time finding it. It wasn't that it was hard to get to but it was a music store/pawn shop and there was only one small U-haul sign. The people were great but I called a couple of times to change location and then get directions and thought I was going to a U-haul store. The lady on the phone was awsome. Things went very well. The Leesville location made up for the awful service I received at the fort polk entrance uhaul. Still will probably not use uhaul again just because of how rude the fort polk entrance uhaul was but I am thankful that the 5th Street Leesville location was so kind and efficient.Kristen U.

My reservation was at 7 am, this facility didn't open til 10 am. I lost 3 hours of cargo time and therefore got to ordered extra days. The guy was really helpful, but i wish i would have known the store times.oscar S.

U-Haul harassed me because the drop off wasn't a 24/7 location and although they checked it in with in an hour after opening, we returned it yesterday, Sunday. U-Haul did not send me a drop off location until today! So you guys threatened to charge me a lot if I didn't go get it. But it turns out it was a U-Haul affiliate and it got checked in ok. I won't use you again because of this harassment. I'm 68 and too old for this kind of treatment.ada T.
I always enjoy the service from U-Haul. The only issues I had this time was the cab was dirty (not a big deal) and the car dolly was damaged and the straps kept coming loose.sean B.
Google maps had the location as across the street from the uhaul in Leesville. So I ended up driving around to three different uhaul locations. But the guy at the Leesville location was very understanding and super helpful. 5 stars for uhaul. But you guys may want to update the address for future customers that may not be as understanding.Christopher W.

Trailer needed to be upgraded, but facility did not have. Transferred to another site which had trailer. Trailer access was undetermined and shop personnel decided to make snide comments when asked how to get access. Trailer needed sweeping out when received. Tried to confirm or, if needed, setup reservation for storage. I told them I wanted to use the Uhaul location on Joe Battle Rd due to it having climate control units available, but they gave me a reservation to another location without climate control availability.Larry A S.

I will NEVER rent from this uhaul dealer again and maybe never even rent a uhaul ever again. I rented a trailer for 1 day for $29.95...ok everything's good until I return it after having it 2 days expecting to be charged another $29.95. No...my total over $100.00. I am so beside myself right now. My boyfriend and I specifically asked the neighborhood uhaul dealer what time the trailer had to be returned and if we had to keep an extra day what would we be charged. This cannot be right.michelle C.
Have the equipment that I reserved there. It cost me more then the rental cost because the equipment not only wasn't ready when reserved, but I had to drive to multiple locations to get it. I will NEVER use or suggest UHaul after this experience.Joseph W.

I didn't like the fact that the lights on the car hauler didn't work properly. Meaning that there was a Short in the wiring system and the turn signal never worked at all which made me very nervous about my safety. Your company need to devise a plan to have all of you equipment serviced to avoid SAFETY ISSUES!!!Andre S.

Great Job on the part of Head South. However the rental from extra space was not as good. It took too long to pick the other fan up. I prefer ALL my rentals to be with HEAD SOUTH location. I do not like to chase my other van down at some other place.andrew A.

This location and the personnel who assisted me in returning the rental truck and dolly were very friendly, professional, and helpful. I spent under 20 minutes altogether. I was double charged for the insurance & not happy aboout it. I called & told the guy but, he said I wasn't but, my bank receipt said otherwise. My receipt showed an additional insurance fee billed on top of the rental & insurance I reserved. Due to him not having the truck I reserved & then him switching the truck but when he did, he done the insurance again making it charge me twice for it. He stll owes me a refund for one of those insurance charges.BILLY C.

I was filled paperwork out inside store, was given a key and told the truck was out back. Truck was dirty, water was in door like the windows had been left down, oil change needed light was on. No one checked my mileage. I drop off the truck and I am charged for these. And that's fine, I'll pay the $25 but I also canceled my $1000. Reservation for the end of the month, we are military we move every 3 yrs and will NEVER use Uhaul again. As well as canceled one more $400 reservation my husband made to move a play set to Texas. I was lead to believe the truck was clean, it was not. The truck had a leak in the driver door of which I fixed by stopped by a local Walmart to buy door foam tap to fill the gap in the door. The bed of the truck leaked near the wheel well letting water inside the back of the truck which damaged a wooden dinning room table top.LEO S.
