Awesome customer service 🤩
KIMBERLY JAs we pulled up to the location we witnessed a homeless person exiting the cargo area of the truck we rented. The U-Haul contact person was not there when we arrived at the appointment time. We had to wait fifteen minutes for him to show up. The gentleman seemed to not know a lot of details about our reservation, including our quoted price. After completing the transaction, he pulled the vehicle to us. The fuel level was less than indicated on the contract and needed to be adjusted, which took more time. We then inspected the cargo area and found 7 or 8 empty pallets and food wrappers and other trash. The gentleman and another employee had to clean all the debris out of the truck, adding even more delay.
Ron BThis agent also really didn't want to be bothered with me. He had auto repair customers and helped them even if they came in after I did. After taking the trailer off my truck, he left it parked at the far end of the property instead of pulling up to the office where I was. He walked back instead of driving. It was stupid.
Samuel TThis guy was rude and inconsiderate. He was focused on his auto repair business and made me wait while he helped other customers who came in after I did. Then after disconnecting my trailer, instead of pulling the truck back to the office where I was, he left it parked at the far end of the lot so i had to walk diwn there/engine running/door open/with my wallet and phone inside. He was just clueless about service.

Thomas bGas level was not correct! Not 1/4 was only 1/8. Moving blankets had moisture in the bag. They were unusable. Truck had not been cleaned. Papers and food wrappers in the cab. No one walked out to the truck with you. You were instructed to find your truck by the license plate. The whole facility was disgustingly dirty. I had to load my own blankets and hand cart in the truck. Unprofessional staff.

ARNOLDO SBeware! The 20 ft truck I rented in Hemet CA was a complete disaster. The exhaust was broken so it was so loud it hurt my ears driving it. The smell of gasoline filled the truck and I had to drive with the windows down in 108 degrees with no air. The steering column is on it's last bit of life. The transmission slips gears. What a terrible danger Uhaul put me in the day of my move! The truck was dirty with trash in it. The floor had sticky liquid on it. When I returned it, the guy told me he was going to charge me to clean it. I was the only person in the truck because of the dangerous condition of the truck. I had no food or drink in it! When I asked for another vehicle, I was told told that was the one truck they would give me. After returning the truck the guy told me the truck should have never been rented to anyone as it was not in safe condition to drive! Thanks Uhaul for putting my life in such danger just when I needed you the most! NEVER AGAIN...
LISA KWell my issue the strap for 1 of the wheels was wrapped wrong I could not remove it and so I did not use my uhaul rental. I returned the equipment after about 2 hours because I did not use it . The tech went outside with me and it took 2 grown men to release the strap , I told the tech I could not release the strap on my own well he said to bad there is nothing wrong with it . I don't want a refund just for uhaul to continue giving great customer service . Thank you
JOSE RI only ordered for 50mi and was charged for 100mi rental. The rep told me he will refund the difference but did not follow through. I will let people know that this place is a scam.
ANPHONG NMaybe don’t charge people a late fee when they aren’t actually late. Completely unprofessional, I probably won’t use U-Haul again because of my experience
TIAHNA HWas told to download the app by the guy in the office to return the truck. After 35 minutes of searching the app could not find any options for truck return. The guy in the office then said just leave the keys with him and someone else will do the return tomorrow because he does not know what to do. I also put one eight tank more gas then what I started with and was charged for gas. Never had any problems with U-haul. Hemet Auto Air has done me wrong. I do not trust they have enough knowledgeable staff or honest workers. The area did not look safe. I would never trust a U-Haul truck to be dropped off again at this location.
