I wasn’t given enough mileage to make my trip and when I used extra mileage, I was overcharged for it. I used the 30 I already paid for and then used an extra 61 But was charged for 91.

Had to drive approximately 30miles from where I had requested pick up. Truck was filthy, should have been washed before I got it. Should offer reasonable refueling at drop off.

The online rental process is very confusing. You think you have reserved a truck at a specific location but you haven’t. The day before U Haul calls you to tell you that you never really have a truck, only a reservation and that your truck can actually be located miles away and you have no recourse but to drive to a location you would never have agreed to.

Walked in and not greeted. Guy barely spoke other than to ask for license. Computer timed out and then went down in the middle of transaction. Internet spotty in building so had to go outside to use it to upload the picture. Should have been able to do all that prior to going. He’d to compete everything after rental due to the system being down. Was there for almost 30 minutes trying to pickup. Drop off was much easier. Only had truck for 90 minutes and seemed fine.

My complaint is NOT about this location. My complaint is about my experience over all....I booked to truck for Altoona, Pa. I get a call stating my pick up location will actually be in Ebensburg, Pa...30 minutes away. Moving is stressful enough without making us drive 30 minutes out of our way for the truck. Then you all make is sound so nice that you are "giving" me an extra 20 miles...YOU people MADE me drive 20 miles one way out of my way!

The employees where very nice, I even got to meet there dog, who was adorably cute and sweet. It was convenient, easy, and A LOT cheaper than I expected! The only problem was the person before us who had the truck ended up keeping it loner. Our reservation was for a 3:30 pick up and we didn't get the keys til around 5. So we had to move a LOT of stuff in the dark. That wasn't the owners fault though and the where very apologetic about it and felt bad. But overall it was a very good experience with the owners / employees. I definitely would go there again, and to also recommend this service to my friends and family.

The location was not my original rental site. It was 25 miles from my original rental site and uhaul storage site. When I arrived, my card was charged rather than when I returned the truck. Even though the associate told me that the card would not be charged. When I returned the truck, I was charged for extra miles. This was not a local move. I will not use this location again.

The communication with this location was poor. Called me 3 minutes before they closed and didn't return any messages I left. They didn't have dolly or pads and didn't bother telling me. When I called about it after I picked up the truck and made it to my location, Wayne's only answer was "Yeah, I hate when uhaul does that to me".

This was the location that I had to switch to because the website had a Sears Home Town store still available when the location had already closed. This meant being on hold for 30 minutes trying to get someone to change the location on the reservation so that the location services function would work on the phone. Please keep up with your locations as it impacts all customers.

It was very difficult setting up my initial reservation. I was on hold for 20 minutes and the wrap could not verify my pick up location. Once I made my reservation they had the wrong drop off location. I had to call back and I was on hold for about 10 minutes, spoke with a rep for about 10 minutes. She had to call me back 10 minutes later to verify my drop off location. Although she was very friendly, it is very frustrating to have to spend a half an hour to 45 minutes on hold trying to make an initial reservation. If I had other options I would probably consider them but since U-Haul is the only game in town I’m kind of stuc she had to call me back 10 minutes later to verify my drop off location. I reserved my equipment a week in advance and the day before I go to pick up they changed the location. Fine, I can drive a little farther. We get there and they don't have the equipment on time. By the time it gets there we could have driven somewhere else to pick up our equipment or they could have dropped it off at our original location. Hopefully they honor that fifty dollar guarantee.

I was scheduled to pick trailer up at 12:00. I arrived at 11:40 no one was around. At around 12:15, I finally got someone to answer the cell phone number posted on the door. I was told he would be back soon. At 12:30 I hooked up the trailer and left, still no one around

26' truck and only a 12' ramp. It would have been easier if the ramp was long so it was not such a steep angle for loading and unloading

The owner at this location was more than accommodating...Uhaul corporate in Pittsburg made many errors and due to this may never use or recommend Uhaul again, But the location was good.

Hooked up to first trailer, opened it up assuming it was clean and ready, smelled like cow manure and had hay/straw in the back and trailer was pretty beat up. Went inside and informed owner, sighed and looked mad. Hooked up next trailer and it was clean and in better shape. No one checked lights, hook up or anything, had to ask owner to mark additional dents and it seemed like I was bothering him. I booked the trailer in Johnstown, had to drive 30 miles to pick this trailer up from a dealer that didn't want to be bothered. Johnstown location always helpful and friendly!

The auto transport sat on their lot for 7 days without them noticing. This tells me they have a poor knowledge of their inventory which can be susceptible to theft. They were other wise friendly.

I returned the truck a day early. We tried calling this location all afternoon to try to find out what we needed to turn the truck in, but no one ever answered the phone. When I returned the truck, the sign for the business said they were closed, but the door was open so I went in and spoke with the owner and told him I was returning the truck. I asked if he needed any paperwork and he said, no, just the key. A week later I got a call from Uhaul that I had not returned my truck.

It was raining & snowing the day the truck was picked up. The truck leaked. It got a lot of our things wet. I don't know if this was a defect in this truck or if they are all like this but it messed up a lot of our things. We are not happy.

We dropped off truck n trailer at the same time, same place. Then 3 days later I get an email saying we never returned the trailer. Had to call 4 times. They never bothered to check there lot. I had to hold while they went to look. Someone dropped the ball and never checked the trailer in. Was on the phone for a long time trying to get them straight. Never go there again. Nor recommend them to anyone.

I requested drop off at a place that I knew would be open to 6:00pm Saturday. Instead, I was given a place that was closed. I didn't even know that I could use the U-Haul web page to check in my truck myself until I accidently discovered it. This was a very poor overall U-Haul experience.

I had called four days prior wanting a appliance cart and two furniture moving carts. He said he did not have the furniture carts at that moment but would order them in and I could have them on Friday. When I arrived he didn't know if they were there and then asked his employee who stated "nope they didn't say anything to me about it". The owner then said to me well they didn't give them to us and I could probably buy the at DVO or Tractor Supply any how. We have tried to rent trailers from this location before and he said nope don't have them you will have to contact Uhaul in Altoona PA. It was the worst customer service I have ever received. He also stopped me before I entered the building because his dog was in there and he wanted to make sure he was locked behind the desk. I also found that unprofessional.
