This trailer was covered in mud when I picked it up. Given this location has no one on site, I'm not sure how they are verifying trailers are being returned clean, or cleaned for the next customer. Also, even thought I declined the $8 fee for Safe Tow, it was added to my order so I had to request for it to be removed and credited. This seems to be a common occurrence when I rent trailers from U-Haul no matter the location, so is U-Haul hoping the customer does not notice it and make extra profit.

Lisa HACTUAL pick up location was a good experience. BUT UHaul failed at customer Support and Service!! My reservation was originally set for a small dealer in Theodosia MO. I made my reservation on the UHaul App. more than 2 weeks in advance. Two days before pick-up, I received a call from a lady in customer service in Springfield MO. Sunday 9/21. She informed me I had to drive more than 70 miles each way to Ozark MO to pick-up the Auto Transport. I told her this was not acceptable 😒 and she said sorry but that was my only opinion or she could cancel my reservation. I had my trip plans to leave and head to the Denver area on Tuesday morning 9/23. I asked her for a rate discount for my time and miles, she said there was nothing she could do. On Monday morning I called UHaul customer Support, and I asked if there was an Auto Transport closer? I was told NO. So I started calling closer UHaul dealers to me. A very kind lady in West Plains MO said she had one available, about 50 miles from me. I drove over and picked it up right after I got off the phone, so I could still leave on time Tuesday.
