Had to drive 25 mins to pick up equipment, asked for a discount because it's so far away and I have to pay for mileage, was told no, also when I went to pick up a truck and a trailer I was told I had to “pay $50 for the hitch because someone stole mine” wtf!!! Not recommended!!!!!!

Holy cow. The van was such a mess. The back was full of sawdust. The cab was gross as there was food remnants on the floorboard and chewing tobacco in the storage compartment. Also, I got it home and there was a warning on the dashboard that the front right tire was low on air. Luckily, I have an air compressor and added air. The windshield was filthy and I had to clean that just to see better. I am willing to go back to this location just because it is convenient, but wow.

The gentleman was very rude , trash was in the truck . I turned the ignition on and the Low tire pressure light came on and said the right front tire was low . I walked back into the store told the guy and he said it's ok I had another truck with the light on . He asked does it look low , I said yes . Got home I have a portable pump , it read 27 PSI . The information on the door says it should have 55 in front tires . I drove over 100 miles so it could have been a bad situation.

Reserved truck 3 weeks prior, wasn't there when I arrived. I stopped and put gas back to where it was when I picked it up and was still charged over $21 for fuel. Truck looked dirty, front seat full of pet hair. Bad experience here. My $80 charge turned into $109. Will not use here again.

We dropped off the truck after hours and we're told to complete the drop off instructions online. Despite several tries, the site was unable to verify our location, so we were charged an additional fee for not completing the drop off instructions. We filled the truck up with gas when we dropped it off, but still were charged an additional fee for gas. We were also charged an additional drop off fee.

Sorry, i am not a happy customer. I rented a uhaul on 7/16/2022. I picked it up around 2pm on 7/16/2022 at Highview Hardware on Fegenbush Lane, Lou. Ky. I returned it around 6pm at Highview Hardware store. They were closed when I put the keys in the drop box. Shortly after I returned it I saw online where I was supposed to check it out online. I chatted with a UHaul representative online and told her I filled the tank, put the keys in the drop box but failed to look at mileage. She told me she checked it out at 6pm on 6/ 17 for me and the store would look at the mileage when they opened on Monday. I was also told the insurance would be 14.95 or something when I rented the uhaul. My total bill is ridicules.. that I was charged for one day...returned in about four hours?? drove 38 miles??? it is in sane that I was charged a total of $151.02 on my American Express.. The thing i hated is the push to buy insurance on the U -Haul saying i would have to pay when i drop it off if anything was wrong with it. I have insurance that covers me on anything i drive but i bought your insurance.

They should do a walk around with the customer to show them things like gas tank, how to adjust the mirrors, and look for any dents and dings before the vehicle is released.

Those men at this location need more professional training! They didn't explain to me why they couldn't help me load my truck on the trailer! They gave me a Pamphlet and told me to read that and it gives the steps to load my car on the trailer! One guy asked if I was going to do it there, and I told him yes! He told me to hurry up because they needed room for the next person coming to pick up their trailer! The guy told me they closed at with uhaul no later then 4:45 PM! I then drove over to the uhaul place on Bardstown because a representative told me they could help and it'd be $25 but it was actually $50! Those people at that location were amazing and did everything to make sure my car was secured and safe! The other dudes at the location I picked the trailer up had the chains loose and they were dragging! Good thing the man at the bardstown location noticed it tightened it up! I left from the Bardstown location to head back home and I noticed it was 5:37 PM and one of the guys at the location I picked everything up from was still there helping a white lady secure her car! This is definitely discrimination and I felt like the guy didn't want to help me from the first time I stepped foot in the store because I was a black woman! I will be looking into a lawyer for this case!

My final charge was incorrect. I went a total of 19 miles, 31 miles under my estimate. I returned the truck with MORE gas than it came with and was charged a fraudulent gas charge 3 Gallons for over $20. The storefront I rented the truck from did not inform me of any return process, only that I needed to return before 5. I arrived at exactly 5:01 and was denied entry and instructed to put keys into a drop box. Only after placing the keys in the drop box, did I discover a return process which I could no longer perform because the keys could not be retrieved. This is my first experience using Uhaul and I am outraged. I have my gas receipt, the vehicle has a GPS tracker and you know when it was returned to the storefront. I had the truck for less than 3 hours and was charged until they checked the truck in the morning. As stated, the truck was received with the fuel indicator showing it was a gallon under the half fill line, the cab had come with food trash under and behind all the seats, and the storefront representative was no help at all throughout the entire process. I contacted Uhaul almost 2 weeks ago and have not yet received a reply and the charges to my account have not been changed.

The store was 20 minutes late opening. The employee said the truck had at least 1/8 of a tank of gas , but gas gauge was below empty. Thankfully a gas station was close by. The employee stated we would have to pay $ 8.00-10.00 dollars a gallon if there wasn't a 1/4 of tank of gas in truck on return. The location wasn't convenient. We drove more miles back and forth to the U-Haul store than we did from our home to the storage unit. We only made one round trip from home to storage unit which was about two miles.. We ask if we could return truck to a closer location and was told there would be an extra charge (like double). They use that we went over our mileage and got charged extra. Not to mention very rude to customers. As if we inconvenienced.

Drove the truck 44 miles I put $20 of gas and was charged an additional 1890 for gas pretty much a dollar a mile. The gas gauge showed 3/4 when I left. Gas was purchased less than a mile from the Highview hardware
