U-Haul was very dirty on the inside, check engine light was on, you could hear that it had an exhaust leak or head gasket leak which was really loud when pressing on the gas pedal, and the steering was very loose which made it easy to lose control.

The experience with the app and truck was great!!! However, the worker at the hardware store was very rude. Kept telling me I was a the wrong place because he didn’t see my reservation. When I showed him the code that the app told me to he said, “well that’s not going to help me do anything” . After a bit of waiting I told him, “well that is the truck I have (and pointed to it)” and told him that the app had checked me into that one. He just looked very annoyed with me and then finally “saw it”. He then said, “yours has a cracked windshield… (threw the key on the counter toward me), here, bye now”

Moved my time back 1 hour (8 to 9 AM the day before), but did not give us another hour. Guy who checked us in what a grumpy old man who couldn't hear well. Argued with us a bit for no reason. Truck was not clean in the cab or the rear, needed garbage removed, swept, and there was melted ice cream or something on steering wheel. It clearly hadn't been cleaned in a while. Truck was in the shape of a usual Uhaul rental - use it until it dies. But it got the job done, we didn't have any issues, but we would not go back to Highview Hardware for a rental. It was further from our house than I thought.

Nothing, the truck was ready and available, because at my original truck pick up location, the truck had not been returned at my pickup time of 1130am. They called me and advised the highvew location. The owner or manager at Highview hardware was very pleasant and had everything I needed and ready to go. I would use this location again.

Truck was parked in a very tight spot, but due to surrounding business I think that was their only option. It was just a little nerve wrecking pulling in and out. But the truck was very clean and had no issues.

Original location i rented from was a mess ...took my reservation incorrectly, then cancelled it without sending me a notice, then sent me somewhere else, where both available trucks were broke/not drivable, so this location actually had a truck in good working condition. I think uhaul as a company needs to be honest when you call for a one way truck from Kentucky to Georgia, you will be driving thru mountains and 6 grade decents...the truck needs to be safe.

FIRST OF ALL THE LOCATION WAS GREAT! MY ISSUE IS WITH UHAUL themselves. I called the location which is 2 blocks from my home. I made sure they had the 10 ft truck I needed. I made reservations online for the 10 foot truck. A couple days before my rental I was called by U-Haul and told the location I chose did not have a 10 foot truck to rent, I would have to rent from a place called gas and go or some name like that further away from my home (I am walking to pick up the truck) I explained that I called prior to placing the reservation and that I had to walk miles to get to the other place both to get and return the truck and I am 63 with a blood clot in my heart. He apologized and said he would upgrade the truck to the 15 foot with a ramp and grandma's attic for me instead at no extra charge. I know a 10 foot truck does not have a ramp so I had help coming to lift and load items for me on the truck and follow me to unload them. When he told me he was upgrading my truck to one with a ramp, I was able to tell my helpers I did not need them, they could go on the fishing trip they had planned before I asked for help. I could just use my dolly to pull items up the ramp. Well, I picked up the truck and was given a 10 foot truck with no ramp and no overhead area. I called my friends but they had already left for 2 days fishing. I had to keep the truck an extra day and only got to move 1 load because I had no one who could lift my items in the truck. The truck was old and you had to jiggle the key to even get it to start. This was a horrible move and cost that I did not even fully get to use the truck I paid for. Before I ever rent from U-Haul again I think I might look elsewhere for better service and honesty.

Truck needs to be seen by the marketing company MRU after the cab is cleaned. The cab was filthy, looked like this dealer has not performed a Level 1 inspection on it in a long while. The truck is in need of an alignment immediately, front end starts vibrating at 40+ MPH and if the brake is applied at 40+ the vibrating gets significantly worse. At return the dealer rep was extremely rude,

Robin, wasn’t helpful, I am disabled and he didn’t help me to put the heavy dolly on the back of the truck, he was more focused on my mask, I have health issues. I felt targeted cause of this mask issue. I was very unpleasant.

the truck was literally the raggediest u-haul i’ve ever driven. the ignition was finicky and the latch on the back was rusted and hard to use. the manager at this location was super kind and polite tho, which is the only reason id recommend or use this one again.

I had booked for a pickup closer to me but was told the day before that the trailer wouldn’t be there so I had to go somewhere else to get it. At the new pickup site, the man there isn’t able to help hookup the trailer. If I had been by myself, I wouldn’t have been able to hook it up as there are no jacks to lift the trailer hitch up.

The gentleman at Highview Hardware was kind, professional, and courteous. He helped me to ensure everything was hooked up properly, and that I had everything I needed. He checked to ensure the trailer I rented was clean, and everything was in good working order before I left. The gentleman was very personable, and helpful.

The parking spot had broken beer bottles to the front and side of the truck. Improvement: have broken plastic bottles in front and side of the truck (for the safety of the tires of course).

I dropped off my rental truck and the extra trailer outside of hours. However the parking lot was easy to navigate and it was clear where to park each item. They had a drop box for the key. I had an issue with the U-Haul app, which closed suddenly when I was going through the rental return steps. Despite that, the submission seemed to go through and I received my compensation from distribution program a few days later. Overall the whole move and process was smooth and easy. I would definitely use Uhaul again.

Truck i rented drove well. However it was an older truck that I would never rent again. The low tire indicator light was on, as was the check engine light. The latch on the bay door was bent so that the handle could not secure in place to lock down the door plus the door itself did bind a bit requiring more effort to open and close. In short, I would not rent this truck again even if it were complimentary

The guys were great to work with. I requested a 10' and auto transport. The lights would not illuminate so after recognizing the problem, they fixed the connection. Otherwise, the closest auto transport was over 30 miles away.

Person working the front desk was rude. There was no equipment to help me lift the trailer on the hitch and I had to ask one of them to help me. When I called U-Haul to extend my reservation, I was on hold for 33 minutes before getting hung up on.
