I went to return the trailer I rented, I waited for 25 minutes past the location’s posted opening time and nobody showed up. I eventually checked it back in myself. This is one unfortunate incident in what were otherwise pleasant experiences with this location. I’ve rented a trailer from here 5 or 6 times in the last year or so with no issues.

The van as not checked, and we had to deal with thousands of ants! We knew the previous haul was Christmas trees. So we assume that’s what happened. But we were also given a very wet van Would we use UHaul again? Yes.

The location I ended up at was good; however, it was the 3rd place my reservation was moved to (after reserving months in advance). The equipment I reserved was not available, and this put me into a bit of a bind having to drive all over to get the trailer I needed. When I showed up to the 2nd location, the person at the counter assisted finding me a trailer at another location, but no apology for the inconvenience, or other option for rental was offered. Not good customer service.

The car trailer wasn't pretty to look at, suspect it was pretty old, but it plugged in, hooked on and went to work without difficulty.My Miata was secured to it without difficulty and rode without incident to the destination.

Wait time for 1-800 is horrible. Getting app to work when trying to return uhaul was extremely difficult.

The fuel charge is BS, I made a comment to the person renting the truck that the fuel gauge was less than half but I was in a hurry so did not get her to change it. A 15' uhaul truck gets 10 MPG and I added 2 gallons for driving 22 miles.

I didn’t have a problem with my location pickup. I had a problem with customer service on the corporate side. I booked my return location and received a voice mail saying I couldn’t return it there. They changed my contract in they system without talking to me. Jessica from scheduling should be fired. Rude. I don’t think I will ever do business with u haul again.

We have 2 location's where we live but one wasn't even open on days that it is the busiest of the week and the other is unmanned. Kind of sad.

Tried to charge me $30,000 (yes you read that right). Claimed it was a mileage error and got my card cancelled because of fraud. I’m b Irish which means I have no money for 2 weeks until my new card comes. Just muttered apologize and then had he nerve to overcharge me on mileage. So poor

I had such a hard time returning the U-Haul where I was originally supposed to return it the guy was rude after I took called him and told him I was lost from moving to Salem from out of state when I got to the other U-Haul place I was upset and crying and she was amazing took the U-Haul back for me even though she didn't have to calmed me down and by the time I left there I was in such better spirits she's amazing and wonderful

only 1 jerk working behind the counter on busy day of reservation; line out the door. Employee took approximately 20 minutes per customer to check out trucks. After waiting 45 minutes, was told the previously reserved truck confirmed twice the prior day was not available and for me to step aside. Employee knew not what to do, appeared to have no training experience. Just a very poorly run set up.

It was really Tammy at the Dallas Oregon Uhaul that saved my bacon. I had reserved at 10' truck at the 1395 12th St SE location for 10 AM pickup. After filling out paperwork I walked out to get the truck and discovered what they had reserved was a 10' cargo van, which would not work for the dimensions of the furniture I had to move. Since my movers were arriving at my house in less than 30 mins I was in a panic. They did offer me their last 10 foot truck, but it was essentially out of gas. The idea was that I was supposed to fill out paper work all over again, drive this truck some place and get gas, having 1) no idea how much gas to put in it and 2) had no idea how to navigate all this and get back to my apartment in time to meet the movers--remember, I'd just moved to Salem and found it a REAL difficult town to navigate. They asked if they should just cancel the reservation and getting up to leave I said "yes, please" and left. I got home before the movers arrived, had just enough time to call Dallas Uhaul (where my storage locker is) and explain to Tammy what had happened and what I needed. The didn't have a 10' truck at her location, but bless her heart, she immediately found a 10 footer at another location near me that worked, saving the day and the $100. I would have had to pay the movers even if nothing was moved because of not having a vehicle. So she is my hero for the day!

No improvement necessary the employee came down to the truck as i was locking she informed me that was not necessary as she had to get some information from the vechicle I thanked her very much and proceeded to leave the premises.

We were promised a truck at a location 2.1 miles from our load pick-up location. We were then called and told the only truck available was approximately 9 miles (through heavy traffic) away. The facility where we picked up the truck was difficult to turn the truck around so that we could get out onto the street--a perk would have been to have the truck ready to head directly out onto the street. The admen staff was training a new employee and both performed their jobs with preciseness and in a friendly manner.

More communication to the Customer of what policies Uhaul or the provider has. If you return vehicle if the store is closed, make sure you can prove to whomever what time you dropped it off. Always take a picture of odometer/gas gauge before and after your rental. Inspect vehicle for damage, inside and outside vehicle. Uhaul is a great company. Always protect your interests too!

the loading ramp had been changed to a shorter ramp being unsafe and unusable. The moving took twice as long and unsafe . Having to Drive a long distance when noticed , it was unable to be exchanged and was a Sunday

This location was fine. It wasn't really a uhaul, more like a storage unit rental with an empty lot in the back that they park the trucks in. The first location I was sent to was 30 minutes away from my requested pick up location, we arrived and our truck had a flat tire. They then sent us to Dallas (where I originally asked to pick up my truck) only to give us a smaller one. That's fine. But both the Sheridan location and Dallas had other businesses they were running on top of the uhaul. Not efficient.
