The process is no good. It took 2 1/2 hour phone calls to get my equipment and put me behind so much that I almost could not leave that same day. It was also a nightmare to drop off equipment. Kept getting transferred or hung up on, one of the 2 until I was finally helped by one person and was able to drop equipment off, which wasted at least another hour of my time. It was not a great experience. Not organized at all

This neighbourhood dealer gave us nothing but issues, false quotes over $800 and argued with us in the store. We had to get our equipment reservation changed because he double booked a truck. I don't know if he is scamming people out of an extra $300 but it needs to be looked into.

Unfortunately the wrong trailer was booked and as a result I had lost thousands of dollars worth of personal belongings because I was unable to transport them. The location where I picked it up did a great job but unfortunately U-Haul did not provide me with the trailer that I needed and that have caused a great deal of personal distress and loss.

When I dropped off the trailer to Crazy Petes he was closed. I called later in the day to let him know that I had dropped it off. He was excellent. I asked about the "policy" of calling to confirm the renters identity - he said he was not familiar with it. Overall the trailer was great - the pick up service was

Location is great, Peter is great to deal with and is very helpful...to bad uhaul will not give him the support he needs to service the demand up in Thompson, he has minimum equipment for rent and a huge demand...u haul needs to change there structure to provide this service up there...its a money pit for the uhaul service up there but uhaul doesn't give the dealer the support needed to supply the demand!!! Thanks to Peter for the great help!!!

Make sure all equipment is cleaned out properly and in working order before renting it out again. I have used uhaul on many occasions and this was by far the worst.

I dropped off trailer in Thompson MB due to weather conditions I couldn't make it to The Pad MB to drop it off. I was told it is now costing me $533 INSTEAD OF $61. it doesn't make sense to me how they can justify such a huge difference in costs. Not happy with costs!!!!

I did find it was very expensive. I did rent a U-Haul last year and hauled it from Alberta to northern Manitoba for around $300.00 dollars. this time I rented from Thompson to Winnipeg it was over $900.00 after I got a $100.00 deposit back. I do own a Speedy Glass franchise and I know we give good prices to U-Haul, It would have been nice to get a discount on my rental.

Wash the vehicle before hand. Uhaul head office should also give more than two days notice about the change in vehicle. I had booked a 15' truck two months in advance. I had to move with a 10' truck which is a considerable difference when moving across the country.

THE ONLY ROOM FOR IMPROVEMENT I WOULD LIKE IS A BETTER INFO ON FUEL PAY, I ASSUMED TO JUST RETURN THE TRUCK, MY BAD, WAS QUITE SURPRISED WITH THE CHARGE, WE COULDVE GAS UP BEFORE RETURNING.

The truck was held until 12:00 noon instead of 9:00 a.m. That held us up for an extra night stay in hotel and apartment. It was filthy (inside and out, including windows and headlights). It is in need of maintenance (chugged and had hard time accelerating) and cost much more for gas than it should have. Suspension is shot. Rock chip in windshield right in vision line. Tire straps were not attached properly - one popped off en route and the other damaged the car. It had only 1/4 tank and should have been full. We were forced to leave more gas in when dropped off. I believe I should be reimbursed for the hardships we endured. Also, I cannot read the attachment with my receipt.

The U-haul representative (Peter) was excellent. In this day and age it is rare to come across customer service like this. I would definitely rent again from him and recommend friends and colleagues to do the same.

Uhaul was missing rivets - no other one available so we took anyway as we needed to move stuff to Winnipeg. Laid down tarps but stuff still dirty/wet upon arrival.

vehicle was rented for an over 700km trip. oil light came on wanting an oil change and oil added less than half way. truck was picked up from a northern Manitoba location used in northern Manitoba yet didn't have a block heater so had to jump start the truck at -30C. lost over 2 hours jumping the truck.

Inside the truck box a decal stated if you sweep out the box and fold the furniture pads there is a $25.00 credit available. Both the cab and box were clean and furniture pads folded upon return, when I asked the clerk about the credit his reply was "not in the contract". He checked the milage and said thats it, I'll send you a copy of the return by e-mail.I should have been able to leave this location with a document showing the date of return, condition of the equipment, milage and fuel, not hoping all is good when I get home to check my e-mail.The guy taking the return was very friendly I assumed this is the way they do business in Thompson.
