The Uhaul customer service was excellent. Polite, professional and accommodating. Hills Auto front desk was friendly as well. I suggest that when there is snow/ice on the rental windshield that they scrape and brush it off. I had to go back to my car and get a scraper/brush and do it myself. The UHAUL app to return rented item after hours works till you get too up load photo there it stops working,talk to a person who transferred me to a phone no one answered waited hour! I payed extra to drop it off closer to my destination then having to go back the next day! Why?ADAM S.

The cab of this truck was very filthy. Food remnants every where. The box of the truck couldn't been cleaned out from the previous renter. The blankets were very soiled. The wind shield wipers needed to be replaced along time ago. Very disappointed.JOHN M.

Rented a trailer a week in advance to transport equipment 599 miles away. The day before we were to pickup quoted equipment we received a call that the trailer we requested was not in fact available and we would only have the option for a different trailer. This wasn't a big deal until we received the receipt for the trailer which was twice as much as the trailer we requested!!! When we called to address the issue in the price the lady working at Hills stated â€œI don't see what your problem isâ€ and she was terribly rude. With limited time to adjust we didn't have a choice but to sacrifice the funds. When we picked up the trailer it didn't have a wheel chock, or trailer jack so once equipment is loaded the trailer can not be detached or reattached. As we got down the road the lights stopped working on the trailer and eventually on our POV! We called UHAUL assistance and they sent a mechanic. The mechanic told us we needed a new wiring harness for our POV and that the trailer was fine (he didn't even inspect the trailer!). He escorted us to an automobile repair franchise to purchase a wiring harness. After purchasing the harness the mechanic at the repair shop inspected the trailer and notified us that the wiring all throughout the uhaul trailer was actually defective and that it looked like a rodent had chewed it. We didn't need the wiring harness but we did need to replace fuses in our POV as the trailer wiring had caused a short in the wiring and blew the fuses in our POV. We purchased several fuses as we were told it would likely continue to blow fuses as we traveled (which it did). Our journey began at 6pm and what should ha e only taken 7-8 hours ended up taking 14! Our trip to see and spend time with family was cut severely short and our reservations were wasted. Literally wasted over $1000 on UHAUL and DESTROYED our plans with our family (which we rarely get to visit)! I DO NOT RECOMMEND UHAUL OR THIS LOCATION! I will NEVER EVER use UHAUL again and we travel quite frequently! Go PENSKE!Jonathan H.

New 10' cube van with 19,000 miles. Interior was mostly clean, but the windshield, on both sides. needed serious attention and wouldn't have been safe for night traveling. Handled well, pulled a compact car on the car hauler (not the 2 wheel dolly) and we got 11mpg. Visibility is limited as there are no back side windows, it would be best to have someone in the passenger seat.jim D.

I couldn't find a key to the padlock provided, so was unable to lock the back of the truck. Otherwise the rental went like clockwork.Timothy E.
Nothing over the top ... they had a lot of issues when I went to get the trailer with the UHaul web site. It took almost an hour and they auto charged for insurance with out asking. After I told them I declined when I saw the price, they complained that they would have to redo all they paperwork. I threw my arms up and just paid the extra.Daniel T.

The check in process took well over an hour I had to download the drivers license 5 times and the kid waiting on me had to walk out with me to make sure I was doing it right it still took a supervisor telling him how to find the driver's license information it was the worst experience I've ever had at u-haulWilliamhoward W.
