When I arrived at my pick up time of 10 am, I was not able to pick up my truck because the previous person who rented it had not retuned it. I had to sit and wait for an hour and a half, while waiting on hold with customer service for an hour, to finally get the truck.ELIEZER A.

This pick up location was fine but my reservation initially was for Holt's Mini Mart Ellijay GA. I reserved 4 days in advance I called the morning of and she said "we ain't had no 26' truck in over a week" I said how can that be? She said "U-Haul does this all the time" I told her I had NEVER had that happen and that they must have something wrong in her system...she said I don't know what to tell you, call U-Haul. You need to do some checking on Holt's Mini Mart because they are the worst experience ever.Glen C.

Employee was incredibly slow, having to stop and sit for a "rest" multiple times. I felt bad as he was older and obviously sick. But it created a very slow experience. Half the furniture blankets were just in a pile. Complained about U-Haul corporate. Quote from employee: "Those people at U-Haul are [vulgar term]." We typically move every few years and chose to pay more than a competitor quoted me because I wanted to rent from U-Haul based on previous experiences. But after this experience, I will definitely think twice before renting from U-Haul again. Also - I'm pretty sure I was overcharged by the location and will be reaching out regarding this.Ryan S.

Store opened 1 hour later than our pickup time. I hade to pay hourly pay while 3 people waited for store to open. When I call 10:10 to see if store opened, he said â€œWhat do you want? It's not my fault your schedule wasn't showing in my computer. Call U haulâ€. He took another 30 minutes while he gets truck ready. If he had to say I'm sorry I didn't see it or I forgot, then I understand. We all make mistakes. Instead he was not nice about it. I want 1 hour and half of fees to my guys I had to pay. My charge on mileage is wrong. He told the lads who picked up the truck for me that mileage was from last people but he didn't fix it. Only takes 3.5 miles from his store to my house but charges were 108.4 miles. I can't get hold of him to fix mistakes. I will never use or recommend him again.Masako M.

This was less about the place and more about the system. I had a 9am appointment to pick up by phone. While I was driving to the site I was sent an email that the address had changed. I obviously didn't see it because I was driving. When I finally got to the new place they didn't open until 10. It was a mess.Mark G.

It was a nightmare. Will never use Uhaul again.At reserved location Chatsworth Ga Tire Center on 411 which was confirmed hrs previous to our arrival once we did arrive he was extremely rude and kept walking off only stating he was closed and to go look at the next closest location several miles away. First call to Uhaul. Stated the other location didnt have size truck we reserved and order was sent to next location. Arrived there, Citgo station owned by foreigners. Trucks are sitting there but due to cashiers lack of knowledge pertaining to rental were ask to come back in 3hrs. 2nd call made to Uhaul. Nothing could be done at that location. Only option left was to travel 10 miles away to 3rd location Glenwood Ave in Dalton, Ga. He informs me reservation was then showing for the 15th even though I had spoken that morning and confirmed. Move now delayed by hr and half. I had someone caring for my mom that has dementia and is bedridden. My time is valuable!!!!! Move was finally made to Hiawassee, Ga where I told person that rented the truck to me we were dropping it off. I receive a text stating I was to drop off in Pennsylvania therefore was charged an extra $35 for not doing so. I will NEVER EVER rent from you again. The lack of comprehension was absolutely ridiculous. What should have been a simple transaction ended up costing me time and money I dont have.Lisa S.

The gate was locked when I went to drop off the U-Haul. I had to park it on the sidewalk and find the key drop attached to the fence. If there was any other trucks there I wouldn't have been able to drop it off.Charles D.

I was charged for insurance without even asking if I wanted it. I was acharged 8 dollars for gas even though I returned it with the same amount of gas as it had when I rented it. I was charged a $90 and a $50 charge up front, and I was aware of the $90 fee but I wasnt aware of the $50 charge until I checked my bank account. I called customer service and they said that it would be released from my account sometime within the next 5 business days. The charge has been on my account for 6 days and counting now. I would like to have my money refunded please.Tyler K.
The gate was closed so I wasn't even able to drop the U-Haul off like I had scheduled to do. I had to drive way out of my way to find another U-Haul place to drop it off since this location had made that impossible.Ashley R.
The tow dolly I had requested online wasn't there or available. Had to wait 3 additional hours for one to be delivered from neighboring town. I was not happy because we were traveling to st. Louis and it delayed us getting home until the middle of the night. Tried to leave a message to complain and ask for a partial refund and finally had to hang up after being on hold for 30 minutes!Jeremy W.

The actual drop location wasn't even open and from te looks of the 3 foot weeds, hasn't been for some time, so I went to this one and we spoke and he was awesome. The actual drop off is the only reason I am even remotely satisfied with this rental, out of all the years we and our family have used u haul this was the worst experience everjim B.

Check locations... originally scheduled to pick up at Young's BP... no one was there, no one answered the phone, there wasn't even a BP there... just a gravel lot. Having to change pick up locations added an hour to the pick up.Amanda E.
