Excellent but still waiting on my $100 check money back of U-Haul
Bette RI paid for one day. I picked it up at 4:45 on Friday and had to have it back at 1:30. Saturday!! But had to pay for a whole day. That’s not right. I think y’all owe me money
Jackie PI expressly said I did NOT want the safe coverage, my insurance would cover all charged me anyway. It was NOT driven 29 miles, you charged me for it. You charged me nearly $80 to rent it for a few hours to move a few things. If this is the new policy I will not be using your service going forward. I clicked NO for the coverage and it was changed by you the company is the location of pickup. I'm disabled and on a fixed income, this is unacceptable. The person at the location told me that charged was removed, he LIED.

Regina CThe original location my paperwork said to drop off the trailer was in the middle of a shopping center parking lot. There was no signs or indication that there was a Uhaul location. After calling several people I decided to go to the next closest location. It's is very bad that you put a customer in this situation. It's no wonder you come up with missing equipment.
Jeffrey PTried to return the truck the same day, at 5 pm, the store hours said 6pm closing and the store was already closed. So then I was charged ANOTHER $145 for more rental time I didn’t want or need.

Nicholas AI reserved a tow dolly to move some heavier items when I got to where I was starting to load no dolly I called and the guy says oh I took it off your bill i didn’t have one would have been nice if I was told at pick up also place I was picking it up was dirty
Beth TThis truck needed a lot of TLC before being sent on a 1100 mile ride. Passenger side front tire was worn pretty badly first off, I asked if it was ok and got a “should be” then while driving it, the belts were squealing the rear end sounded like it was shot and made a loud winding sound, it would run real crappy once in awhile and my god it had more air leaks then a screen door! The loudest truck I’ve ever driven in! My wife had to wear noise canceling headphones cause she couldn’t handle it. At any rate, I did uhaul a favor by driving a bigger truck home for them and I feel the poorly running engine in the bigger truck cost us an extra $100 or so in fuel! I rent uhauls quite a bit for my business! Very disappointed for long distance! 😞

Jack CThe dealer, according to c/s, appeared to have cancelled/moved our reservation for a friend to use the vehicle. New p/u location showed no record of confirmation #. If not for a reservation Specialist with UHaul, we would not have had a moving truck at all. Lesson: Call UHaul if you need help. Corporate was fantastic to offer a solution.
James SI dropped off the truck locally and was told that they things told to me by the other rental location was wrong. He was apologetic but nothing he could do about it.

Tim BIt was middle of the day on Saturday and the return location wasn’t open. We called the number on the sign for after hour drop off and he didn’t answer. We spent several minutes trying to find a drop off location near by and the owner stopped by to “grab a coke” and said we got lucky to catch him there. No sir, you got lucky to have any customers.

Steven AContract said drop off was at 8AM. When I arrived the gate was locked and no one answered the phone. I had to leave the truck in the parking lot of a business next door. This was not an after hours drop off but it was treated as such.

GREGORY KWhen I arrived at my pick up time of 10 am, I was not able to pick up my truck because the previous person who rented it had not retuned it. I had to sit and wait for an hour and a half, while waiting on hold with customer service for an hour, to finally get the truck.

Ralph PThis pick up location was fine but my reservation initially was for Holt's Mini Mart Ellijay GA. I reserved 4 days in advance I called the morning of and she said "we ain't had no 26' truck in over a week" I said how can that be? She said "U-Haul does this all the time" I told her I had NEVER had that happen and that they must have something wrong in her system...she said I don't know what to tell you, call U-Haul. You need to do some checking on Holt's Mini Mart because they are the worst experience ever.

RICK LEmployee was incredibly slow, having to stop and sit for a "rest" multiple times. I felt bad as he was older and obviously sick. But it created a very slow experience. Half the furniture blankets were just in a pile. Complained about U-Haul corporate. Quote from employee: "Those people at U-Haul are [vulgar term]." We typically move every few years and chose to pay more than a competitor quoted me because I wanted to rent from U-Haul based on previous experiences. But after this experience, I will definitely think twice before renting from U-Haul again. Also - I'm pretty sure I was overcharged by the location and will be reaching out regarding this.
Ryan SStore opened 1 hour later than our pickup time. I hade to pay hourly pay while 3 people waited for store to open. When I call 10:10 to see if store opened, he said “What do you want? It’s not my fault your schedule wasn’t showing in my computer. Call U haul”. He took another 30 minutes while he gets truck ready. If he had to say I’m sorry I didn’t see it or I forgot, then I understand. We all make mistakes. Instead he was not nice about it. I want 1 hour and half of fees to my guys I had to pay. My charge on mileage is wrong. He told the lads who picked up the truck for me that mileage was from last people but he didn’t fix it. Only takes 3.5 miles from his store to my house but charges were 108.4 miles. I can’t get hold of him to fix mistakes. I will never use or recommend him again.

Rowland AThis was less about the place and more about the system. I had a 9am appointment to pick up by phone. While I was driving to the site I was sent an email that the address had changed. I obviously didn't see it because I was driving. When I finally got to the new place they didn't open until 10. It was a mess.
