Truck that I reserved was not at the original site that I reserved and had to go to another site to pick it up. No one was at the site when I arrived. I could not use the links that were texted to me to issue the truck. We had to wait 25 minutes before anyone came to issue the vehicle. When truck was picked up the instrument panel indicate that there was 107 miles to empty. Before starting everything, I added $30 of gas to the tank. At 3:00 I returned the truck to the site with no one there to take receipt of the truck. Total round trip miles were less then 100 so I returned the truck to the location with the dashboard indicating 110 miles to empty with more gas then I started with. As I was checking in the truck I was charged $43 for gas for the truck. I have filed a complaint with UHaul and hope that will look into this situation.

I placed my order through another location closer to my home. The gentleman there (Wes) was extremely friendly, professional and helped me with my order. U-haul corporate changed my location to hooked used machine parts. I arrived just before 1 pm to pick up my rental. No one was there the building was locked and lights off. There was a ring doorbell. I rang the bell and received no response so started to walk off. As I did I finally heard a voice on the camera. The people talking knew nothing s out the rental and told me I should have gotten a key code from u haul to access the lockbox. I called u haul corporate and it was a fiasco. The rep there could not send me a code or text as the U-Haul system was down. I had to re do an application on the phone. The guy had access to my reservation. But I had to redo the application. Taking pics of my driver license, and then a selfie….. after I had to provide names of multiple people they could call to verify my identity. Total bull and it took 1.5 hours to get the key code to retrieve the key. I then had to take a number o of pics to send to the rep on the phone of the truck. I was also scheduled to pick up a trailer to carry back for U-Haul, however no one was there to connect the trailer. I would never use this location again and uncertain if I will use u-haul again. Also the inside of the truck cab was dirty. Whoever used it before must have used one of the cupholders as a tobacco spit cup as it was nasty and I had to clean all that up before I could use the truck. .

Passenger mirror was busted was pretty rough justifying the driver side mirror to back a trailer in the pitch black and the trailer brakes only worked half the time . Other than that the owner of the location was awesome , I just need some kind of discount for the hassle .

Took 1.5 hours to get the truck. No one was at the store and the gentleman issuing it to us wasn’t very familiar with the system with more training it has the potential to be a good location.
