The only thing that could have been done better would have been to explain the automated pickup process. I thought I had made a mistake in arriving when I did and almost left to return during the next day's business hours.
Antonio LUnfortunately, I was not happy with my overall experience with Uhaul on this occasion. I was initially scheduled for pick-up at a location closer to my home. When I arrived, the promised 15' vehicle was not available. I had to call customer service to update my booking. This call was recorded for quality assurance. My booking was then moved to Hoopster by Uhaul - a location twice the distance from my home, leading to additional mileage charges I would not have otherwise incurred. Additionally, I was charged for a furniture dolly that was not present in the Uhaul upon check-in. My check-in questionnaire and photos will confirm this. When I attempted to submit a complaint about this on checkout and to request a $15-20 credit/reimbursement, the website would not allow me to check the Uhaul back in without first entering credit card information. In essence, I was inconvenienced and then overcharged for it.
Shannon SFluid Leaks: If you notice fluid leaks underneath your vehicle, especially around the steering rack or pump, it could indicate a leak in the power steering system.

Pete SThe app was not working so my pickup was delayed over an hour while I was on the phone with customer service. The representative acknowledged the app is very buggy, but even the website was dysfuntional. Please fix it or do not allow trucks to be picked up from locations when they are closed. I could have been left stranded or not been able to complete my move.

Keith BThe mobile phone check in process was terrible via the app. It would not pick to my location and I could not check in. Had to wait on hold for 20 min to get assistance...which was use the browser instead of the app.
jeffrey tOffice was closed after 10am Saturday, contrary to what was advertised. Had to spend 30 minutes on phone to pick up truck (support rep I worked with was helpful though). Blankets also were not present in the truck, despite them having been added to my order on 05/27. At dropoff, U-Haul app crashed while taking photos and my order disappeared from the system entirely. Was on phone for another 45-60 minutes to get it resolved.
Samuel DCargo van was new (600 miles) but the passenger window didn’t function. However, this did not negatively impede my usage of the van.
Lawrence RChecking out the truck from the app was difficult and bothersome as I wasn't expecting to have to do so much at the time of pick up and waiting for the verification took a long time, which was irritating on an already stressful move day. I understand these things need to be done but it should be better communicated that if you use the app to check out the truck you should budget for all the additional time it takes.

Grant DI'm not sure how I would have picked up the truck at 9:30 a.m. at a location that wasn't open until 10:00. If I was supposed to pick up the keys and inspect the vehicle on my own at the pickup location, it would have been nice to get a separate email or text going over the process. Fortunately, the manager arrived early and did a great job helping me get on my way.
Frederick MI did not receive the dollies I requested, and I never heard back from them regarding this. I had to go to another location to pick them up. The truck was old with torn seats.

Andrew KStupid app site to work this, some application is not working its seems like take or leave rental. Rip off price. at 33mile used for charged $78.00 gas price for 2 gl gas. Wow! Total ripoff
