I confirmed my drop off location in Lebanon, IN upon confirming my Uhaul trailer rental a week before my departure. When I left Richmond, IN on Friday afternoon, Uhaul Corporate called me and attempted to tell me the Lebanon, IN Uhaul Facility (my agreed upon drop-off location) was at capacity. They instructed me to drop off the trailer in Indianapolis, IN (an additional 40+ miles and over an hour round trip away). I was very frustrated they allowed me to confirm a location and then reneged on that location as my drop off. I pressed them to compensate me for the additional mileage with my personal vehicle, and they offered a measly $20 for what would end up being nearly $10 in gas money alone. When I asked for fair compensation, they put me on hold to discuss with someone else. After the hold I was told very shortly that I would not receive any additional compensation and that I should just drop it off in Lebanon, as agreed upon. This experience left me frustrated that they attempted to make me relocate their equipment for them, as I am neither a Uhaul employee or contractors, for a ridiculous compensation rate. If you find yourself in this situation, push back at the unfair practice they are attempting to do. I want to re-iterate that the staff in both locations were excellent and deserve 5-stars. Uhaul corporate was not and deserves 1-star.

I didn't have a great experience with using uhaul. I was supposed to pick up a 26' truck Sunday night from a different location but they didn't have their truck share 24/7 set up correctly. So I couldn't get it. We were on the phone with uhaul for the longest time trying to get a truck or our reservation switched. We tried to pick up a 26' truck Monday morning from this location and the person who dropped it off the day before, didn't leave the keys. I understand it's not the business's fault for that but it still sucked. We ended up renting a 20' and got everything moved in time. Probably won't be using uhaul again. But hopefully won't be moving again.

The first truck they gave the wind sheild wipes did not work so I asked for a diffrent truck which was no problem they quickly got me into a diffrent truck.

I was called from Howards about when I was going to return the truck. I explained the situation. They said OK we will update the records. They obviously didn't because I got charged for an extra day, even though I had already paid for a 2 day rental. The price I had already paid should obviously be for a 2 day rental. Look at the cost!!!!!!!

The location was closed when we got there. But there was room to return the truck. Well lighted and signs to let you know what to do after hours. The app worked ok. Great job by Howards for after hour drop off.

For over two years I have called to complain that someone is using my phone number and email address to rent equipment from the Lebanon and Crawfordsville Indiana locations and they are still allowing someone to rent even after I cancel the order. I've made a police report, maybe that'll help.

The truck had serious front end issues. The steering wheel shook violently the whole trip there is a serious front end issue whether it was alignment or tire issues. Every time I pushed the brake pedal the rpms would shoot up between 3000 to 4500 rpms.

Due to uhaul our lites stopped working!! Before they hooked Up to our truck,they worked fine. We have to now we have take our vehicle to Ford to find what happened I am upset needless to say. Other than that it was ok. But when we take our vehicle to FORD, And find out that they caused our problems then I feel like the uhal should refund the money to us. The stress of not being able to drive after dark was hard. We had to find lodging quickly. We even couldn't make it to our reservation one night because of our head light problems and lost almost $300. This was the worst trip I have ever had using UHAUL,.....

The app needs to be revamped. On check in I was prompted to upload photos I already had uploaded when I made the reservation. The process took so long out in the cold, the clerk took pity on me and manually checked me in instead. Then the app added blankets I didn't need and there was no way to remove them. Howards was nice enough to refund that portion.

Just overall not a friendly experience. I waited for 10 minutes for someone to check me out and then felt like I was being pushed out. I asked questions about my pre rental and they acted like it wasn’t there. My price was also more than I hat was quoted when I preordered the truck. I mentioned it to the company and they told me that I didn’t pay environmental fees, when I know it was included in the price. Maybe it was just a bad Monday.

Bigger parking lot for rentals. Semis loading and unloading merchandise in same small parking area used to pickup trailers. Tight squeeze.

The pictures that were used to confirm damage were not of the truck I rented. I took pictures all the way around to ensure I wasn't charged for damages the truck had. They need to use pictures of the actual truck being rented.

Rented vehicle registration/license plate was not clearly visible. It had temporary registration with some other state and not sure it was valid also. Broken door handles and seats were not secured fully. You can feel while driving. Not a safe vehicle for highway driving

My issue with the location is that it was over 20 miles from the location where I picked up the truck to where I was told that I had to pick up the car trailer. I reserved the truck and trailer over 2 weeks earlier so that I could pick up both at the same location. A Uhaul representative called me the day prior to let me know that I had to go to two locations. Uhaul has become so poor in their customer service that it is now the customer's responsibility to reposition their rentals for them. Added to that, Uhaul gave me two different drop-off locations, each a ten-minute drive in the opposite direction from my destination. When I arrived, one of those locations was closed for the week (it was a Wednesday). The Uhaul representative on the phone told me that reserving any item at a location is merely a request and that Uhaul can change the location at any time. So much for taking care of customers.
