Make sure the online is working and when calling customer service find someone who actually can help you. I was told by a representative after I had gotten charged and since they could not get me the code I would have to go to another location farther away and smaller uhaul and pay for it. Finally after almost 2 hrs on the phone I got someone that was helpful.when I went to return my return Time was after hours once again I called to return truck to get a gate code for the location and to no avail no help then finally two days later they say I can’t acces that place so they had me drop off somewhere else.

This van smelled so bad. My husband had to clean it and the mat was terrible. Of course we needed that day and could not wait to for another so we had no choice but to take it. We also had problems getting a confirmation so I had to go to the site to make sure it was rented for the next day. I should have checked the van then. Worst experience that we have had.

I reserved a truck at Kingwood/US 59 location, it was changed to the FM1960 location, with a pickup time change without discussing if it would be convenient for me/location and time. the time got changed a second time, at initial contract, I was quoted a price for 2 days. the number of days was change by personnel at the FM 1960 location, still was charged same price. when I questioned all of this at the Kingwood/US 59 location, where I made the reservation, I was told that the mileage/location of drop off was not what I was told by personnel who initiated contract. very frustrating - didn't need that as moving itself is stressful. I would be hard pressed to use U Haul again.

Trailer was missing a electrical hookup. Had to take one off another trailer. Facility would not hook up trailer like they do at the one I rented from but because they did not have this size trailer they sent me to this location. I was charged an extra $14 for not returning pads. This was setup on 2 contracts and pads were returned to a location in Colorado Springs per their instructions. Called today to get credit and Melissa was going to talk to supervisor. I let her know that I would not pay the charge and for them to get back to me.

The trailer started to leak from the ceiling since it rained hard. The trailer had oily substance or some type of fluid that stained my couch and my daughter's bed sheets that were on her bed. Either the computer system was having issues or internet was down when i tried to pick up trailer at location, so it took forever to get information to be able to rent trailer into the system by the employee. I tried dropping off trailer after hours, and i went through the process of filling everything in on line. When i got to the final screen it gave me an error and said for me to just drop off my receipt in the Key drop off box at business, but they didn't have a key drop off. I finally found a payment drop off slot and dropped off receipt in through there. Improvements, have some employee check out the trailer before next person rents and/or wash it out. Fix issues with website that doesn't allow you to finish dropping trailer off after hours or checking out to get trailer rented.

No problem with the service staff or the equipment but I had reserved the particular trailer and indicated I would need to buy a new pin and ball to match my new SUV. Was told they would have that onsite and they did not, forcing me to drive to one of the larger Uhaul stores all the way back closer to my home. Due to this I was not able to pick up the trailer for two hours later than I had reserved it for. Everything went smooth and there were no problems but I got bad information as to what off the shelf supplies this location would have.

Instructions on how to return other than telling you to log on to a web site .. then when I called the lady at 1800 uhaul she was very rude telling me it's my fault and saying. My phone is the problem and there was nothing she could do.. after a hard day of moving in the rain u would think the u haul would had been the least of your problems .. that lady was unacceptable

I did online reservations went to pickup truck@6am logged in my account just to find that there was no equipment available smh! I should’ve stuck with my first mind and just called a moving company!#horrible
