We arrived to pick up our online reservation during business hours and they weren't open. There is no cell service or WiFi at the locations. We had to drive to get cell service, then called the location's number and spoke with owner. It took multiple calls to set it up and having to meet at a local restaurant to get the keys. Once we had them, we went back to the business location on it to find the battery was completely dead and couldn't be boosted. Another trip to get cell service, another call to the owner, then an additional two hour wait for roadside service to replace the battery. All told it was five trips back and forth to the location, and a total of five hours after original the reservation time before we had a working truck with bad windshield wipers and a rough idle. The contract also showed the fuel as being two marks higher than it actually was in the truck. Thankfully I took pictures of the dash before we left that I showed the drop off location who was about to charge me for extra fuel. The owners were very nice and did what they could to resolve the situation. U-Haul provided a small refund, but the added rustration and stress during a move far outweighed the monetary compensation.

ADAM SWell i got charged for more miles then i used and still haven’t been reimbursed for it yet be nice if i got reimbursed for mileage that i didn’t even use i even told them it wasn’t that many miles because i drive it all the time but they said i would get reimbursed for mileage that i didn’t use but still haven’t been but other then that i give you 4 stars out of 5

freddie mThe website needs to make it more clear to be sure to bring your drivers license when you pick up a trailer. It may have said it somewhere in the pages during the checkout process and maybe I just missed it but that is my only improvement on the website. The location I picked up from did everything as they should.
