There was no one there when I dropped off the truck. Put key and copy of contract in drop box.
DAVID DLocation was hard to find and access. Workers were slow to help and non responsive to phone calls.
Erica WI was charged for animal hair even though no animals were inside the vehicle while it was in my possession. I was charged a cleaning fee as well even though it was dirty at the time of my rental and I have photos to prove the condition. I had to load the truck with rental supplies because the preliminary order was not verified. The pickup took longer than an hour and the preliminary order was lost and had to be redone twice.
Douglas AI stood by the U-Haul truck for about 30 mins and finally I received a call from the lady who said she was working on it. It was a poor experience to say the least.
James THIRE LIVE PEOPLE TO CHECK OUT AND INSPECT TRUCKS PRIOR TO RENTAL. THIS ONLINE PICKUP DOES NOT WORK AT ALL. The UHAUL website constantly DOES NOT WORK, LOCKS YOU OUT AND JUST RUINS THE ENTIRE RENTAL PROCESS. THIS LOCATION IS ALWAYS MINUS ANY ATTENDENTS- PLUS IT"s SO HOT AND POORLY DESIGNED FOR USE. THE TRUCKS FREQUENTLY ARE NOT INSPECTED PRIOR TO THE NEXT RENTAL- I always have issues. I AM A FREQUENT RENTER AND I WOULD GO ELSEWHERE if I had transportation. I WOULD NEVER RENT FROM UHAUL- sorry but I liked it much better when there were live people that assisted you with the rental-

Donny BThere was no one on site to help, and the instructions from the app were horrible - also the app stopped working in the middle of the check in process, so it took us 30 minutes and 2 calls to U Haul customer service to find our truck and the key box. NOTE: The U Haul app is garbage. It does not work. It is not suitable for touchless pick-up or drop-off.
Patrick MIt was dark and I had no idea where to go. When I called for assistance the staffed told me to put the keys in the orange box over the hill. It wasn’t helpful at all. Then I was charged a $35 dollar cleaning fee when the truck was already clean
Ilaysah BIt was not easy to locate the lock boxes because of all the surrounding food trucks. By the time I found the lock box for the key, the app wouldn't let me go to the screen to get the combination, so I had to call the 800 number. The truck did not have the dolly or blankets I reserved and again I called the 800 number and they sent me to a second location which also didn't have the dolly I reserved.
ELIZABETH AThe trucks are parked in a lot of mud. We were lucky to get the truck out after rain the night before.
David CThe location was great and the people that work there are great. they helped us make something work in a stressful situation. That being said, the overall performance of U-Haul was very poor. This has nothing to do with the people that work at Hyders Food Park. I booked a 20 foot truck weeks in advance at a location 2 miles from me. Uhaul changed my location from close to my house (where I selected) to somewhere 10 miles away. When I got there, the truck was not there. This wasn't the workers fault there as the previous owner didn't return it on time. They sent me 10 miles away to Hyders and they didn't have one either. I had to get a 15 foot truck. I was able to make it work but it was very disappointing. I called to complain and see if there was another 20 foot truck somewhere else in Austin and they said no sorry, they were already reserved. This was a very disappointing experience with Uhaul on an already stressful day of moving. It took hours to get a truck and in the end didn't even get what I had reserved. I dont think I will be using Uhaul anymore as I dont have time for this. It is a huge waste of my time.
shawn sThe location worked out perfectly. I had a little issues checking in due to the UHaul app but the manager/owners helped me out and it’s all worked out great.
Jonel PThe service was excellent and the young lady who accommodated me was professional and friendly. The only issue was when leaving the location there’s a major problem with the exit and merging into traffic. Overall it was a pleasant experience. Tysm.
