JOHN TThe guy who runs this place was nice while renting the u-haul, but my card was charged after returning without my authorization. This is the second time this has happened at this location, and unfortunately we will not be using u-haul or this location anymore because of it. I understand that extra mileage is going to be an extra charge, but charging my card without my authorization is NOT okay. A simple phone call explaining the charge and asking if it’s okay to charge takes less than 5 minutes and zero effort. We’ve been renting u-hauls for YEARS and have never experienced being charged after the fact, especially without permission, until using this location. It’s unfortunate to have to choose a new company to use after 10 years of being a customer.
JASON DCharged my card without my authorization. I said I did not agree with these charges. I was told a u-haul representative would contact me BEFORE my card was charged without my consent. I was charged $103 after a u-haul employee told me it was only $40 for an extra day. I did not authorize extra safe move and safe tow charges and I want my money back.
