The woman who processed the agreement was very nice. The man who mounted the trailer needs a refresher course on how to talk to customers. He took great offense after a comment I made. He had a "don't be telling me" attitude. He responded, "I know what I'm doing! I've been doin this for 20 years! I don't want to be replacing chains." Well, that's nice. I have been around trailering for over 55 years. My concern was a safety issue. Too much chain slack, the tow vehicle can't control the trailer properly if the trailer ever came off the hitch. Too tight, you snap chains. He also didn't do a light check. I had to do it myself. I also had to verify the trailer was not damaged in any way before I left the lot. I will still use this company for future rentals because of availability in my area. The bottom line, he needs to improve how he talks to the customer and be polite at all times.

The back left tire had a bulge. I couldn't drive over 45 when I got to my destination there was a large piece of rubber missing from the middle of the tire. When they hooked up the trailer they left the chains running in the ground. They didn't check the lights. When I got to my destination the prongs from the lights remained stuck in my adapter. I have a brand new truck . This piece of equipment never should of been on the road. It took me 11 hours to drive a 7 1/2 hour trip. I tired twice to call road side for help and no response. This was a horrible experience. It will be a long time before I use or recommend uhaul.

Got to store and employee did not know how to check me out. Said he never did it before and waited 1 hour while he tried to print the contract. Never could print it. Went to pay and he didn't know how to run a credit card. Finally paid cash. Then store owner called hours later and wanted me to come back in. I was already gone. Then half way through my trip, they charged my credit card in file additional money for insurance and deposit. Then about 10 miles from home, I received a text that they changed my drop off point (which was 15 miles further than my drop off). It was all a nightmare. I did call customer service and got them to change back to my original drop off.

This location was the only one open on a Saturday with a 26 ft truck. It took me 45 minutes to get there to pick the truck up which means the miles it took me to get to the place counted against my total miles because it took that many miles to get it back to my house to load.

The trailer was located in the mud frozen two tires were flat I had to take time and get new tires put on during my trip which U-Haul took care of very nicely

Do 1/2day rates... Truck was rented out to another person at 4.30 pm... I picked it up at 5.30 am.. And should of had it for 24 hr. But i returned it at 1pm so other people could get it... I asked if i got a discount for 1/2 a day??? Was told no..

The truck was dirty and had been sitting for weeks since tree debts had been collecting on on the truck for weeks. One of the windshield wipers was not only broken but fell off when turned on. The agent could not print my paperwork so I had to take photos of their computer screen. Nice people , but that is all I can say about this location.

The woman was very nice on the phone, but she argued over the credit card number even though it was right, then she gave us a key, said she thought it was in the alley and never checked the vehicle with us. It was dirty and there was cigarette ash all over the cab.

When I reserved my truck on line I also reserved 2 dozen pads and when I got to this location for the truck I was informed they did not have any pads and never did as they do not carry them there. So I got to drive 20 miles to another store and pay them for pads and then drive back so I could then begin to load the truck. Not a very good start.

Verify information before just assuming you know for one and two. When the customer is talking don't interrupt them while they are answering questions.

Do not change anything. The service was professional, courteous, and helpful. No problems at all. The people at the Stover location were kind and know their business well. Thanks for having people like this in your organization.

Friendly folks, but it ended up taking over 2 hours to do the rental papers. Partly UHaul's fault, partly the local dealer, and partly mine, but this is of course ridiculous, don't you think? UHaul did not provide the support to the local dealer to solve the problems. Traffic control is not open early Sunday morning and UHaul repeatedly dropped phone calls on "holds" and transfers. Also, the trailer was not fastened to my hitch ball. The knob that clamps the trailer hitch to my hitch ball was never moved at all. Fortunately I checked it just before leaving and discovered it was totally loose, and tightened it myself, preventing likely disaster. This happened to a friend of mine earlier this year, at a different UHaul location, which is why I checked it before leaving yesterday. Good thing I did, don't you think?

When I picked up the truck it had 3/16 of gas in tank. I originally had a reservation to pick truck up at "O" Road, Laurie, Mo location. I called Mon 8/12 to confirm (all was good to be @ "O"Road, Laurie Mo on Fri 8/16 am). I called Thurs 8/15 am to confirm "O" Road, Laurie MO pick up location. All was a go at that point. I received a call from U-Haul @ 1:30pm Thurs 8/15 telling me truck I reserved @ "O" Road location had mechanical issues & I would have to pick up in Stover Mo. When I mapquested Stover address on my phone it was 45 minutes from my home. Original pick up location was 6 minutes from my home. Therefore it took me a total of 1.5 hours driving time, not including the poor service at Stover location. When I arrived at 7:45am to pick up 20' truck I was told I wouldn't be able to get a truck the entire weekend because Charlotte (whoever that is) had just left town for the weekend & she's the only one that could handle the reservation. Not a good start to my day. Please have management contact me. I am not available to take calls this week from 7am-6:15pm Tues thru Thurs. Fri I'm unavailable from 6:30am-5pm. My availability would be after 6:15pm-9pm Tues thru Friday or anytime Saturday.

Make sure that all personnel know how to work the fax machine and have been trained in the proper process of rental. It took over an hour to get the truck!

TOTALLY UNPROFESSIONAL. I had to wait until this guy drove to the store to recieve the truck. then he took MY PAPERWORK saying he needed it to return the truck leaving me with no proof that the truck was in good condition or gased up. NO RELEASE OF ANY KIND! YOU COULD HAVE CHARGED MY CREDIT CARD AGAIN, AND I HAD NOTHING TO SHOW THAT I EVEN RETURNED THE DAMN THING! I had to call and have the release sent to me!

Nothing you could change. The location was very remote. I was not familiar with the area when i made the reservation, and was surprised how remote it was. Unless you needed to be in Ivy Bend, I wouldn't suggest this location for general lake area pick-up. The place was very nice, and the clerk could not have been nicer.
