The drop off location was a dirty country store in the middle of nowhere. Ridiculous. The cashier didn’t know how to return the truck and the owner wasn’t there. The owner didn’t answer his phone when called. The country store wasn’t even close to a town. My wife waited in her ‘locked’ vehicle for me apprehensively. The cashier wrote a note verifying the return for me and I left. A few years ago, I used a location in Versailles, MO. That was acceptable. This was not.

Charles MIt was in the Appalachian mountains and we had to take dirt road to get to the location! other than that it worked perfect trip.

Ruth SI turned my trailer the next day March 28, and it wasn't reported for many day's after. In fact the trailer had been rented again and U haul was threatening to charge me for days I didn't have it.

Greg sWas an older (2015) truck; 127,000 + miles on it; no cruise control; roof of cab leaked on drivers side; previous renters trash and dirt had not been cleaned out of truck!! Companies that rent these units should be sure to clean them for next renters.

Linda NThis is the "closest location" to me by the mileage, but it is NOT a good area. I had to go down there at night to drop off after hours, I would much rather have driven up to Tipton or another area.

JOYCE AI chose this location because it has a Stover, MO address. This location is not even close to Stover. From where I was returning the rental, there was a much better location to return the trailer.
BRYON SWent to four different locations in Alamo Texas before I could finally turn the trailer in which is unacceptable
Harrell hThe woman who processed the agreement was very nice. The man who mounted the trailer needs a refresher course on how to talk to customers. He took great offense after a comment I made. He had a "don't be telling me" attitude. He responded, "I know what I'm doing! I've been doin this for 20 years! I don't want to be replacing chains." Well, that's nice. I have been around trailering for over 55 years. My concern was a safety issue. Too much chain slack, the tow vehicle can't control the trailer properly if the trailer ever came off the hitch. Too tight, you snap chains. He also didn't do a light check. I had to do it myself. I also had to verify the trailer was not damaged in any way before I left the lot. I will still use this company for future rentals because of availability in my area. The bottom line, he needs to improve how he talks to the customer and be polite at all times.
Mike PThe back left tire had a bulge. I couldn't drive over 45 when I got to my destination there was a large piece of rubber missing from the middle of the tire. When they hooked up the trailer they left the chains running in the ground. They didn't check the lights. When I got to my destination the prongs from the lights remained stuck in my adapter. I have a brand new truck . This piece of equipment never should of been on the road. It took me 11 hours to drive a 7 1/2 hour trip. I tired twice to call road side for help and no response. This was a horrible experience. It will be a long time before I use or recommend uhaul.
DONNA VFarther away from Stover than expected based on the address. Truck needs front end alignment and belt tightening or replacement

Vicki KGot to store and employee did not know how to check me out. Said he never did it before and waited 1 hour while he tried to print the contract. Never could print it. Went to pay and he didn’t know how to run a credit card. Finally paid cash. Then store owner called hours later and wanted me to come back in. I was already gone. Then half way through my trip, they charged my credit card in file additional money for insurance and deposit. Then about 10 miles from home, I received a text that they changed my drop off point (which was 15 miles further than my drop off). It was all a nightmare. I did call customer service and got them to change back to my original drop off.
Lana WThis location was the only one open on a Saturday with a 26 ft truck. It took me 45 minutes to get there to pick the truck up which means the miles it took me to get to the place counted against my total miles because it took that many miles to get it back to my house to load.
Brian SThe trailer was located in the mud frozen two tires were flat I had to take time and get new tires put on during my trip which U-Haul took care of very nicely

Rodney HDo 1/2day rates... Truck was rented out to another person at 4.30 pm... I picked it up at 5.30 am.. And should of had it for 24 hr. But i returned it at 1pm so other people could get it... I asked if i got a discount for 1/2 a day??? Was told no..

RUTH SThe folks here were nice but lacked ability to complete basic fundamentals.
don rThe truck was dirty and had been sitting for weeks since tree debts had been collecting on on the truck for weeks. One of the windshield wipers was not only broken but fell off when turned on. The agent could not print my paperwork so I had to take photos of their computer screen. Nice people , but that is all I can say about this location.

mike WThe woman was very nice on the phone, but she argued over the credit card number even though it was right, then she gave us a key, said she thought it was in the alley and never checked the vehicle with us. It was dirty and there was cigarette ash all over the cab.
