I would have to say, all things considered, it was a very positive experience renting without any personal interaction; everything done on line. In fact, it was pretty impressive.

Marcus HDidn’t have a utility dolly in vehicle as requested but my bill still charged for it. Cargo area was dirty. When I picked up I had opted for the mobile pickup and it said I could come back for the utility dolly when the store opened in two hours

We ended up getting one elsewhere but it would have been a disaster without one. I would have expected some advance notification that a dolly was not available so we could plan accordingly.

They didn’t have any of the equipment I reserved on my reservation which made my move take twice as long. Worst experience ever. Will not be renting again.

Christopher SMy request included a utility dolly and when I picked up my vehicle I was told there were no utility dolly’s available. Luckily they had a very basic dolly for me to use. It wasn’t great quality but was included for no charge and did a decent job. Attendant who helped me was very polite.

Tony SPut on a running board stepping board a little lower for short people. I had to put $25 with of fuel to “fill it” and the gauge still said full when i was done driving. I do not believe the prior customer actually filled it. The gauge may not move until it is way down. I only drove to Palmetto and back twice. It might be good customer service in this environment to calculate usage by miles driven so the honest customers don’t pay the price for the ones that bring it back “almost full” . Great customer service, thank you!!!

Julia MThe guy in the office was rude on every occasion I visited the office especially on drop off. I asked if there was anything that needed to be done at drop of he stated no just give him the keys. 25 mins after leaving received a rude call asking for me to return and clean out the truck. The time for that request would have been when I asked if there was anything thing need to be done before I left. He definitely has zero business being in the customer service role. Rude on every single visit in one way or another.
Lance JWindshield wipes beyond needing of replacement. I also scheduled to rent two furniture dolly’s. I spoke to one of the gentleman at the facility to confirm address and also ask if the furniture dolly’s would be in the truck “yes the sure will be”. Pick up the truck no dolly’s, called customer service and apparently that location does not have the dolly’s so. Thanks for letting me know. Made the move much harder !!!
chris hOffice was closed till 3pm when I tried to return truck. When finally opened, Kelly the customer service person, was quite annoyed when we told him that we were waiting for 20 minutes to reopen. He took blower to the WRONG RETURNED truck, realized that and then sat in the returned truck for 15 minutes. Upon our approach to him, he stated that he had to check lights, gas, etc and was very rude about the procedure he had to go through and displaced his attitude towards us. It turned into a shouting match, which was not pleasant and I was about to call the local police for he was out off control on the fact that he took his good old time to check in the truck, when we already sat in lot for over 20 minutes waiting for someone to come and open up again. Lunch times should be POSTED on door so other customers are aware of the lunch hours. Another couple was also waiting to come and pay their storage bill, and they also told us that this happens to them all the time that there is NO posted time for lunch breaks, which means that agent can go off the clock when ever he feel like it. Kelly was very rude and I would NEVER recommend this storage site to anyone for rental of trucks. I would drive out of my way to deal with another UHaul facility Human Resource should have him take a course in Customer Service, he lacks big time in those skills.

Robert GIt’s the mobile process that needs improvement. U-Haul needs to make it more user friendly and clearer if you are going to offer after hours pickup and drop off. Just our opinion
