Juan was excellent and very helpful, other than when we called to ask questions about the rental and he kept stopping to help other customers without tell us, so all of the sudden in the middle of the conversation you could hear that he put the phone down and was talking to other people.

From the pickup to the drop off after our move, we dealt with nothing but rude and unhelpful people. Even though I set up a specific drop off location near our destination, we were told they would charge $300 at that location or nothing if we drove clear to the initial pickup location on Dry Creek, 30 mins away. This was a miserable experience and stressed us all out beyond belief. I would not recommend this location or service to anyone, ever.
STEPHANIE SI was not expected so clerk was surprised when I arrived. He was new and didn't know how to process the transaction. He had to call someone who walked him through it over the phone. it took over 40 minutes and much frustration to complete. Store was closed when I returned to drop off the truck.
Steve BKind of a sketchy gas station. Not an actual uhaul location. The truck didn't have a ramp which I needed. I was loading some heavier items which would've been so much easier if I had a ramp. Then I received multiple receipts which all had different amounts. Very confusing. When I returned the truck they had no record of me even taking the truck and said the truck I was using was under a different name. I will not be using this location again.

We found some large rocks to put in front of the tires- Otherwise just fine

Nicole SThe reason for the poor score was because the truck was DANGEROUS! The transmission switched gears constantly, the air didn't work in the hot summer heat and the side mirrors wouldn't move! Also, I felt I was overcharged but couldn't verify that until the email receipt came back which I was told was "too late" to dispute.

We started the check out process which somehow completed itself before telling us what to do with the keys. Thankfully there was a person at this location and he was able to take them for us. Was never so relieved for a service to be over.
Cameron WGas was only 3/4 full when picked up. I drove 32 miles but had to put in 9 gallons to have it full when returned. $30 gas for 32 miles!

Christopher HThere weren't any moving blankets with the truck. There wasn't an appliance dolly with the truck. It sounded like I would have to get the dolly or blankets at a different location. If I knew that, I would have gone elsewhere to rent the truck. The Tenant said he needed for me to give him two phone numbers and names of people I know. This seemed really unusual to me. Otherwise, the truck worked fine, and I was able to do what I needed to do even without the contingent of the dolly and blankets. Had I known it was a gas station and not a UHAUL service center, I would have chosen another location.

William AThe van had low tire pressure on all 4 tires, the entire van reeked of cigarettes and there was trash EVERYWHERE: in every cup holder, on the floor, on the passenger seat and all over the back of the van. Maybe prepare the van for someone would be a start
Lauren YThe van smelled like cigarettes on the inside. The interior of the cab was not clean, the van could use a good cleaning. The customer service was poor. The facility is in a gas station, not an official Uhaul facility, so the level of service was not up to Uhaul standard.
AL BThe van I rented had debris in the back that I needed to try to remove before I load it in my desk. It was very dirty and I had to wash my moving blankets after I was finished. Also, the person checking me in try to charge me for 62 more miles than I actually used. I was happy I took pictures of the dashboard before and after the rental.

Gregg HThe person at the pickup location could have cared less about what she was doing. In fact, she said as much. We had to call corporate and have someone come out to help us. A few minute procedure turned into 1.5 hours. The truck did not have a full tank of gas, was filled with cigarette smoke and was filthy. The blankets were not folded, but thrown into the back of the truck.

The lady working the counter of the store, which is not in anyway a U-Haul location, was nice, but was obviously very new and had a very difficult time renting me the vehicle. This is not an appropriate U-Haul rental location. Shame on Uhaul.

We drove to an actual UHaul location twice. Once to have them show us how to install the towing ball and the second to confirm we had the trailer connected properly/safely.

Juan MThis site is in a very busy liquor store. The attendant continued to have me wait while he checked out a revolving door of customers that came in after I did and even though I had a scheduled appointment. In between customers the attendant would ask for a pieces of my information at a time and several times would ask the same question. I was never shown the truck or the car hauler and was not given any instructions on their use. I had to figure out and hook the car hauler up to the trailer and hope it was correct.
Louie RI had an extremely disappointing experience with uhaul. I made a reservation a month ago since I was moving to a new home from Denver to Aurora. Uhaul changed my pickup location to Littleton an hour before the move and i had to drive 30 minutes out of the way to this location. I was told on the phone on the way to the new location they didn’t have my size truck and only had a bigger size so was up charged for this. I also had to return all the way back same night adding to my driving On the phone before I picked up at Littleton location, I spoke to scheduling and did ask to get a closer pickup spot but they said they had nothing in Denver. They mentioned a mileage discount for my trouble , but never told me there was only a 20 foot truck at my location and not the 15 i asked for. While this location was able to get me into a 20 and process my order last minute, overall I was disappointed with how uhaul added greatly to the stress of my move.
Chris BLocation was fine, but was in a gas station with one tiny UHaul sign that was easy to miss. The personnel was helpful but asked if the moving blankets were in the back of the truck. We explained, nothing is in the back as we never were given any blankets. He insisted, "it says they gave you blankets" to which we responded I understand that, we asked for them, we paid for them even, but were not given any. After going back and forth like this a few times, I showed him a picture of the box truck with out load in it to hopefully prove that there were never any moving blankets given to us.
CHARLES MThe only issue I had was that I reserved 2 Dolly's and they didn't have one. They accommodated my request for a different truck so that helped but no dolly made my move a little difficult.
Christy AThis was my first U-haul experience. The location the equipment was rented from did not have the hitch balls available for sale or rent; therefore, I had to drive to another location and buy one and return for the equipment. When I came back for the equipment and hooked it up it was discovered that a wiring harness was missing that connected the dolly wiring to the truck wiring. Guess what, I had to drive to the other U-haul location, with the dolly (without taillights, brake lights and turn lights). Once the connecting harness was hooked up, it was discovered that the right taillamp did not work. Since this location was not the location where the equipment was rented from, they were reluctant to fix the equipment. After some complaining, they tried to fix it, but could not make a proper fix. In transport, the light came loose and was hanging by the wiring and I had to zip tie it up.

Richard MPick up was scheduled at another location, one that was listed on the UHaul website. When I called to confirm, they reported it was not a pick up location, so UHaul had to change it. This place was really nice.

Austin MIf UHaul wants you to get your truck/trailer at this IMart, just say NO!!! In fact RUN the other direction immediately!!! These people have NO interest in customer service, the opposite! We showed up there 3 days early just to confirm that all would go well on moving day and they saw us in the system, all good. Then on moving day they had no idea where our truck was! After much delay and an attitude that we were one giant pain, they found us a truck. They tried to charge $150 more than we were quoted but we had documentation with us so they couldn't. We had ordered a dozen blankets and a furniture dolly but of course, they were not in the truck. What a nightmare! The place in AR where we dropped off the truck was outstanding, extremely helpful & professional, top notch all around.

Ed MI scheduled a 4 hour rental starting at 8 am. Imart opens at 7 am so I thought I would get there at 7:45am to knockout all the paperwork. When I got there, both doors to the store were locked and nobody was there. I call the store multiple times which lead me to a full voicemail. After leaving the location at 8:25am I was on hold with uhaul and there was still nobody at the store. Uhaul eventually got to my call and had their management call the location/person who told them he was there the whole time. When I went back in at 9:15am he argued with me and told me that I was wrong and that he was here the whole time. On top of that I didn't even get a 4 hour rental because he had to have the vehicle back by 12pm.
Landon BBusiness did not realize I there to pick up the the trailer. This was after having my reservations being cancelled at two other closer locations. The business then tells me that they "do not hook the trailers up". I had never hooked that type of trailer up so had no idea if it was right. They offered no assistance. They are a very poor Uhaul. associate.

Robert CThe electric wires from truck to auto transport carrier were not connected; they were TIED together. We had to wire them together so we would be legal with brake lights and blinkers on the auto transport carrier. The truck cab had dog hair throughout and dirty dog prints on the middle seat. We ended up vacuuming the cab since I am allergic to dog hair.

Gloria JWhen I arrived the van was not parked in the location I was directed to by the online check in. Additionally, the keys were not in the lock box for pick up. The front desk attendant was a young man who had nothing to say other than, "ya, here, it's parked out back." The van was not clean when I picked it up. There was dirt and grass in the back. The front had a sticky substance on dash and in the cup holders as well as pet hair from an previous occupant. It was clearly not cleaned between users which is shocking considering the current pandemic. The vehicle is also due for an oil change. When I tried to let the online drop off know the vehicle was not ready for its next user, I was automatically going to be charged a cleaning fee so I was forced to put that the vehicle was fine so I didn't pay for a mess I didn't make. Overall a very poor experience.

I sent an email to uhaul through your site as I am filing a complaint about the customer service from Uhauls main CS Department. I was treated like crap and the last 3 times I have rented uhaul has been more than disappointing.
Rosemarie aThis was my worst experience with Uhaul. The so called attendant had no idea what to do or how to do it. He called his boss, who told him apparently to have me disconnect the car hauler. He had no idea of what to do with it. They apparently didn't check it in, in a timely manner, as I was called 3 days later and asked where the unit was. I am a former Uhaul agent from a 30 year dealer. He would of fired me if I ever handled a transaction for him in that fashion.
