I unfortunately had a terrible experience with my service in Belle River. For starters, it was hard to find the location itself as there wasn’t much signage outside and no one told us it was through the Indian food market. When I walked inside the woman of the Indian store called a guy who apparently worked for the Indian store as well but dealt with the uhaul calls.. upon making this registration over the phone days prior, I was offered 50% off to go to the Belle River location and when I paid that day I didn’t get that discount. I also didn’t get a fridge cart in my uhaul that I asked for so I had to go all the way to the Lauzon uhaul to pick one up because uhaul Belle River said they don’t supply them?… Then to finish it off, when we went to return the uhaul, we got a call abit after we dropped it off from the man who works at the Indian market saying I had to put more gas in the truck. But he never told us that was apart of the protocol and at this point we are living in a different town now and was very inconvenient to travel there just to drive more miles to fill up a bit. The man working at the Indian market and uhaul proceeds to sound very careless and says it’s not his problem and hangs up on me. I called uhaul Lauzon and thank goodness for them who reassured me I would get my proper discount and that this was going to be taken care of as that is not how they treat their customers. I believe the man who worked at the Indian market was named Kabir. Would not recommend this location to anyone. It was sketchy and a mess to deal with.

The truck was hard to drive. And smelled like burning oil. The gas gage never moved so likely not working properly.
