This is the second time I've run it from this location within a month I do the rental online before I get there and when you get there the Indian gentleman behind the counter always add safe move insurance and don't tell you about it don't give you any printouts or anything I've already called customer service once this is a scam at this location it's getting to the point where I should rent a couple more times to see if it would happen and then reach out to the Attorney General's office for the state of Pennsylvania for an attorney to sue

Went to drop off the trailer and was told “you are all set”. My husband asked if he can go ahead and check the equipment in. Was told the person who works the Uhaul's went to get some dinner so my husband went ahead and closed the contract by checking in the equipment via the app.

I reserved a 20' truck but received a 26' truck of which I had to pay the difference. I reserved moving blankets, but when I got home they were not in the truck. The reservation only gave me 203 miles, but my trip was 207 plus the miles from pick up to drop off,

Inside Uniontown SUPER 8 HOTEL is a 100% Great rental location! Never a problem with the staff or the equipment. I would recommend this location to anyone. Rental is always ready when I get there. You do have to hook up your own equipment at this location (so if you are not comfortable doing that maybe bring someone with you). They inspect it to make sure everything is ok before you leave. This is my go to UHAUL rental location.

Reservation was wrong, had the wrong mileage. I reserved 3 weeks before still didn’t have the truck or the dolly I reserved. Luckily the truck we got had a regular dolly thank god or our moving experience would have been even worse. No one knows what they are doing, customer service is all over the place. Will be trying a new moving company next time

Ridiculous hidden fees. Absolute sad that a 70 dollar quote somehow magically turned into a nearly 200 dollar price tag even after adding gas to it!!

Very nasty and condescending. Overcharged by $313.53. refused my return, and added 2 hours of extra time and still haven't received my refund..... embarrassing to u haul

The cab of the truck smelled like smoke, had animal fur all over the seat, trash around the cab and water in the door cup holder. It had to be wiped down with disinfectant wipes payed for by the driver before it felt safe to get in and drive. The trash was removed before it was returned and there was a call made to the company about it. It did drive well and had no trouble hauling the load.

They rented me a 15 footer that had body damage in the bed and a windshield broken from one side to the other. The final destination area for drop off said I should not have ever been able to have gotten it with these infractions.

The truck was very dirty it smelt like kerosine in the back and the dash was busted off and trash all throughout the front and bavk of the truck I had to clean the whole truck out before I used it it made my items smell like kerosene and i told the 3 workers that were standing there when i turnt the keys in they didn't even care i still haven't heard from Corporate very very disappointed and I got charged for the dolly when I didn't want it

I’m very disappointed do to I know how many miles I put on the truck and there was no way I put that manny miles on it . Check the miles befor you take it . They go off the last person that said the miles and they don’t check the miles to see if someone cheated them miles.

Truck cab was dirty and truck had some dents. It ran fine no problem. The people at the desk for pickup and drop off were very helpful and friendly. Thanks overall very good.

I had an extremely frustrating experience at this U-Haul location. I reserved a 15' truck. Before my reservation date, I was contacted several times to ask if I would be willing to upgrade for free to a larger truck or to tow a trailer. As I am not experienced with driving large vehicles, I was not comfortable with either of those offers and responded to decline. On the day of my reservation, I was told that there were no 15' trucks available. I was assigned a 20' truck, and when I walked out to the parking lot, I found there was a trailer attached to the truck assigned to me. I went back inside to explain that I could not safely drive a truck with a trailer, and was told that I should remove the trailer myself and attach it to another truck in the lot. I thought this was unreasonable, but didn't want to argue and make myself late to meet my movers. I was able to unhook the trailer, but because it was so heavy and the parking lot was sloped, I could not safely move it to another truck, even with someone helping me. I was worried about injuring myself, someone else, or damaging a vehicle or building. Luckily, because someone came with me to pick up the truck, they were able to grab something to wedge under the trailer tires while I pushed to prevent the trailer from rolling and causing damage. It was a terrible way to start my move and I am very disappointed with my experience.

I loaded the trailer on the truck my self then loaded the car myself and the gas wasn’t filled and truck and trailer was so dirty. Then I had to half way thru my 900 mile trip to fix wires that I didn’t get refunded for

When I arrived to pick up the truck the dolly I rented wasn't in the truck. I manager gave me keys to another truck and said a dolly was in that one . There was not a dolly in the truck and it had a trailer attached to it. There was also a snake on the gate when I opened the back. Finally, the manager brought out a dolly and the rest of the experience went as planned. The customer service operator who helped me along the way on the phone was great.

To start, the truck had almost no gas in it. The AC didn’t work so we were sweating badly because of it, and checking out wasted like 10 mins of our time when we were on a tight schedule. Not a great experience.

There were used napkins or tissues on the seats and some dirt/dried mud on seats, but not too bad that you couldn’t sit down. But I did order a utility dolly, appliance dolly and some furniture pads, none of which were in my truck!! Went back inside to advise and was told, at first, that they often run short. I advised I once worked for U-Haul and I don’t believe it would’ve allowed me to reserve the equipment if it wasn’t available. He did take me outside to look in ALL the trucks for this equipment, the ONLY thing we found was a utility dolly and I declined taking it without the appliance dolly & pads. It defeated my whole purpose. So, they did refund the equipment charges when I returned the truck. Thank you for that. BTW, the truck did drive a bit rough, loaded & unloaded

Poor customer service. Received call from U-Hal the day after drop off to see if I had return the rental. This is concerning to me as it was not marked returned upon returning the rental. The crank jack was not working properly in the trailer.

After I made the reservation online, and provided all the information via the online check-in (prior to my pickup date), I had to provide all the information again at the front desk. name, address, phone, alt phone, alt person, driver ID, etc. I waited in line with another customer doing the same thing. Took way to long to pickup a reserved truck with online check in.

The place over charged me I drove from Uniontown to Masontown and then in Masontown I only drove .5 miles not even. I was charged $100 but I used U-Haul before and went from Uniontown to point Marion and back and got charged only $60

The woman who checked me in was delightful and friendly. She answered all of my questions with knowledgable professionalism. The truck was suitable and in good working condition for a well used Moving van. I will definitely use them again!

Make sure the vehicle doesn't have garbage in it and is swept out. Someone spilled something in the cargo area and it wasn't scrubbed. The cargo area hadn't been swept at all nor the cab. There were many bits of Styrofoam in the cab as well as a partially full energy drink can, a charger, and a cable for a phone. There was dirt/debris in cab. Plus, the mileage they reported that I started with was 198 miles less than was actually on the odometer. Also, they said the tank was 8/9ths full, it was only 6/9ths. I tried to talk to the gentleman in charge when I dropped it off and he was impatient and helping someone else at an ATM and came over quickly and I didn't think he really heard what I was telling him but he did report the mileage properly so I was happy about that. I took pictures of everything before I drove the van off the lot. I like this location but I have never had a U-Haul be handed over to me without it having been cleaned out. Plus, the mileage thing would have cost me almost $198 had I not caught it before I left the parking lot and took photos. I won't deal with this vendor again.

I wouldn’t send my worst enemy to this place. Insanely rude. I walked in and three people stared at me and for a full minute, then elbowed each other until one called for the owner. The owner was very rude. The first issue was, they make you drop off in the back and walk to the front. But he asked for a picture of the gas and mileage, and made me walk the entire way back and take one and come back…. Next, he charged my card without consent. He wanted to charge me hundreds with no explanation on what it was for. Even when asked several times… he just kept saying I needed to pay in full. After a half hour of waiting for him to give me an itemized list, which he said he was putting together, all he printed out was a “responsibility to pay” sheet with the amount and date due. Zero info otherwise. The place smelled, it was scary, and they were unprofessional and manipulative.

The clerk was completely uninterested in the transaction, speaking on the phone in a foreign tongue when I was trying to check out. I had ordered furniture pads and a dolly, there was neither dolly nor furniture pads in the truck.

After the rental we get truck home and the back is full of construction trash and concrete dust on every surface. We spent 30min just cleaning so we could put furniture in.. Showed the Rep. The photos he said OK?? Thanks... Will not let me attach photo here or would send..
