when we checked in at night no one was a front desk (even though it was a hotel) and they spoke to me through their ring cam. The two other times when we dropped off here there was a live person and it was a smoother experience.

I wrote a rather detailed description regarding that rental, as I believe that the specifics are important. But, due to the length of what I've written, I wanted to say that if someone would rather contact me, that would be fine. Thanks! I have mixed feelings about this place. The location is good, the hours are great, they had a good number of trucks and trailers available, and the staff was friendly. But there were issues, as described below. I've rented quite a few trailers, and from a variety of providers over the years. And this is the only one of those places in which moving & attaching of the trailer is left entirely to the customer. With me that wouldn't normally be an issue, but this time it was. The problem is that at least part of the rear row, and possibly all of it, has a bit of a downward slope that is all but imperceptably by sight. As a result, as I lifted the tongue from the ground the trailer immediately lurched forward into the rear of my car, damaged the bumper I tried to stop it, but there was neither enough time nor distance to prevent it. Had I been aware of the grade I'd have parked several feet further away to provide myself the time and space to slow or stop the trailer, or at least drop the tongue, if necessary, to prevent my vehicle from being impacted. But, as that wasn't the case, as usual I'd backed to within 12 inches or so of the tongue. As a result, between the lack of distance and momentum of the trailer, such an outcome was all but inevitable. And when I returned the trailer, as I lifted the tongue off of the ball, despite my being prepared that time, it was all I could do to avoid a second impact. There's a final point I feel is worth noting. As stated previously, of all the U-Haul locations I've rented from, this is the only one where it's been left to me to hook up the trailer. And I find that curious, not simply from the customer's perspective, but moreso in regards to the U-Haul corporation, as well as the franchise, due to possible liability issues. With their current system, they have no way of knowing how much, if any, experience a person renting a trailer has. And since all the dealers I delt with attach and detach trailers, so long as they are open during the return, I expect there are some individuals who rent trailers, but have never personally attached or detached one. But that doesn't mean such a person won't attempt it on there own, which has the potential of going bad in a variety of ways. I assume, but don't know for a fact, that if someone required assistance the hotel has employees they could send out. Because just as some people might not know what to do, there are surely others that aren't physically able.

This is the second time I rented a 15ft box truck. Both times the passenger seat belt was broken. The passenger seat belt needs replaced and I have mentioned this both times. Also when I got my rental it said it had 1/8th tank of gas. It did not. It started with 47 miles to empty so I had to go directly to the gas station. The staff is very polite and even allowed to me borrow a broom to sweep out the truck. Just need to fix the broken seat belt that ive dealt with twice.

The gas tank was completely empty. They had none of the accessories I ordered - appliance dolly, blankets, etc and I had to rent them separately from another UhAul provider. Also, I was told by a truck driver that I had a flat tire toward the back on the driver's side. He said it looked like it had been that way for a while. This place didn't have helpers like so many other places. Absolutely completely self-serve.

I took a picture of the mileage and the fuel at the beginning I drove the truck 119 miles and it only had a quarter of a tank of gas. I replaced the gas with a quarter of a tank and they still charge me like $100 for fuel and they charge me 20 extra miles even though I have pictures of before I don’t know why they would charge me for fuel if I put the same exact amount of fuel in there and why my beginning mileage was 119670 and they said it was 119650

The vehicle had many dents, paint missing,windows handle broken on ramp. But the one thing that brother me the most. I had left my Zipo lighter in cab. I called and they said they would check and call me back. I waited for them to call me back ,but no call. So I called them and they said there was no lighter..I live 5 minutes away so I drove to there looked in the cab and where I told them to look and sure enough it was there.

Employee charged us more than what we had an Uhaul invoice for. Had not choice to pay the additional fees for who knows what exactly. Upon returning the truck we forgot that we needed to submit photos on the app, clerk gave us keys back to the wrong truck, acted as if she was confused. Luckily we were able to upload photos I took before hand to the app instead of with the app. Please rent from another location or another truck rental like Home Depot. ZERO STARS

They tell you to take a pic of the mileage before you take off which I did(152390) just to tell me that’s not what they have on their end and told me I went 88 more miles then the 60 that I guessed in order to make my reservation. I also took a pic of the mileage when I returned it(152428). I went a total of 38 miles. They charge $1.09 per mile…so to not have the correct info at the beginning messes everything up. Then he kept saying I’ll give u a $20 refund I’m like ur not giving me anything that’s my money and it should technically be $25-$30. It was a terrible experience and I will not recommend it to my friends. I will be watching my account to make sure they don’t add anything extra on because I will be disputing it with my bank and I have all the proof.

Skylin was AMAZING! Her customer service was on POINT! She went above and beyond in helping me with a storage unit. Awesome facility and has GREAT TRUCK SIZES N VANS N ANYTHING A PERSON NEEDS TO MOVE. The gentleman who checked me in Also was very polite friendly also had great customer service. I was greeted by Amos when I walked in the door. He was professional and provided great customer service. The box truck was clean, and met all my needs. The ramp was incredibly helpful when loading my heavy outdoor furniture. Upon return, I entered the driveway through the wrong entry and a gentleman name. Nehemiah directed me to the right location and was waiting for me when I returned. He was professional and cordial. This was my first time ever renting anything from U-Haul and it was a very positive experience. I will definitely return and will encourage friends and family. Whoever need a rental to stop by this location.

I had also requested a appliance dolly for the move and the location that I received the truck from had none and the closest one was an hour away so I just went and bought a dolly from Harbor Freight to complete the job. I also had to clean out the mud on the floors of the cab and cleaned windows. When move was completed I swept out the cargo area of the truck.

Overall, the location was fine. Easy to get to, easy to check out the truck and the associate was friendly. As for the actual truck I rented, it was a bit disappointing. There were some dog hair and dirt on the mats in the cab which smelled a bit like stale smoke. However, the most disappointing was that I received it with only enough gas to go "54 miles until empty". I didn't know how much gas to put in to get me where I needed to go and return with the same amount I started with; therefore, I ended up having to get gas 2x. I personally prefer that you get a full tank when you pick it up and then you leave it with a full tank. I hadn't built the first fill-up into my schedule, so it put me a bit behind.

Truck was completely filthy inside the box, had to be swept just to use. Cab smelled horribly like cigarettes. Windshield wipers didnt work, luckily it wasnt snowing or had horribly wet roads. Had to go to gas station to clean windshield. And I order3d a dolly online to show up and them tell me they were all rented out. Overall staff was good, truck was just horrible.

Both cab and back of truck had garbage and debris through it, requiring me to spend an hour cleaning it before use. Tire maintenance light was on at pickup. Gas gauge is all over the place while driving and only shows 1/2 when fully filled and idle. Front drivers side headlight did not work, making the truck illegal on the road at night.

They made no attempts to fix my reservation when it was cancelled on me. There was no notice or message given to me when my reservation was cancelled even though I messaged through u-hauls website telling them I would be late. Truck cargo area was dirty and had stains when picking it up. They charged me for an extra day when I dropped off the equipment a day earlier than my rental contract.

The trailer is a bit heavy and I didn’t get any help with the trailer to be delivered When I picked it up there were three people there to help On the drop of location it was only me A. Near 70 year old not a good situation for me not to happy
