The uhaul truck was dirty when we entered it. Smelled strongly of smoke and had cigarette ashes spread all around. The person who assisted me was wonderful and I really appreciated her. The blue ridge location (my original reservation) was awful. They did not have a truck available at the time of my reservation and did not offer a discount or the $50 credit I was supposed to receive. Spoke with the general manager at blue ridge who provided the wrong address for the new uhaul location before I called and got the correct address. Very disappointed overall with my service at blue ridge and the equipment and ivory mims. Will be using budget next move.JOY F.

The app experience is HORRIBLE. #1 If it is erroring out then it needs to tell the customer why. I sat on the phone for 20 minutes on hold because it was erroring out all along it was because the location was closed and they wouldn't issue me the key. #2 Me trying to return it and take a picture of the odometer was almost impossible. I took 20 some odd pictures and it wouldn't accept any of them. Again I had to call U-Haul customer service to deal with the matter. This app is trash! This location appears to be a haircare product warehouse or something that just happens to also have U-Hauls available for rent. The location didn't have most of the moving supplies I ordered, and the moving company I ordered through the U-Haul app never showed up at all.CLAYTON J.

Very unprofessional from start to finish. I really did not get any assistance on pulling the truck out or backing it back it. Then a day later I get a phone call saying that there's damage to another vehicle. I just think that as a professional you should be on your job and double check the vehicle while the customer still there! The man did not come out and assess the truck while I was still on the property. I'll get a phone call day later saying that there's damage and they are going to file a claim. WILL NEVER GO BACK!!! I uploaded a picture of the mileage, because it did not match the sheet I was given. However, even though the picture said it was uploaded, I could not see it. The woman running the uhaul program said that it was fine, but at the end of the day I was charged nearly $20 more than I was quoted because my mileage did not match. She said she could not see the picture and would fix it, but that did not happen. My card was charged the $20 extra and I was never contacted again about it.JESSICA G.

This place is in a terribly run down neighborhood. When we showed up no one was there and they put an â€œoutâ€ sign on the door with no return time. I paid to have them load my vehicle on the dolly and I specifically asked if he needed to connect the chains and he said no. When I dropped the tow dolly off in Nashville the guy told me we needed to take the chains off first. I responded with, they guy that hooked this up told us we didn't need the chains. I then requested my money back ($20) and he told me I couldn't get the fee back. Very poor customer service.andria L.

She did well!! But on blue ridge I reserved it there but after waiting in long line they said you need to go to prospect! Wish I known this because I had picked up a friend in that area to help me so then I had to drive over there. The email had ivory mins but I had no ideal what it was. I think that's important enough to at least text , call or in the email say your pickup is on prospect.kevin B.

While the people here are very nice, and I imagine the trucks and/or vans are just fine, we did not have any success with the 6x12' trailer. The first one we were assigned had a flat tire, the 2nd one we were assigned did not have its lights working. The 3rd one we were assigned seemed fine until we got up 20 miles down the highway, got out and smelled smoke. Something was wrong with the wheels as they were extremely hot. Ended up going to a nearby location up north who ultimately had to swap out for one of their trailers, but the whole thing took many hours to complete. Unfortunately not a great experience.Greg B.

The lock box code was not correct -- had to spend a half hour trying to find someone to tell me the correct code. The location is basically an abandoned lot with trucks going every which way. I was apprehensive about the reservation because of the location, but was limited due because we were moving on a Sunday. The truck made an awful sound when braking. Thankfully I made it to our destinations without any problems. Overall, it was a rough experience.Andy B.
