This has nothing do with location. Uhual rented the truck for day I was dropping off for the same a min after my drop off needed to be completed. Drop off 1014 next pickup was 1015. The staff was very polite and gave a courtesy call the day before to ensure the drop off time. I was able to drop it off earlier to help staff meet their given turn around time that was given by uhual booking.

The Johnstown location said that Jake’s Haggle Hut opens at 9:30am. Google said is opened at 9am. When I called at 9:20am no one answered. I used this location in Jeanette to drop off my vehicle. Because the Johnstown location said it opened at 9:30am and my time to turn it in was 9:12am, they put me down to use the Dropbox. Upon me dropping it off. I had absolutely no instructions on how to do so. When I went to the U-Haul site to go through the turn in process, Indidnt have to fill out anything. It just said to follow the 4 step process. I called Jakes Haggle Hut and at this point it was about 9:34am, no one answered and no one was on site. The location had a metal gate around the front door. When I called, I learned that the location actually opens at 9am, but no one was there for all that time I was at the location. I called customer service and they told me to follow the instructions on the website for the drop box. When I did, again there was nothing to fill out and no pictures for me to upload. It was a terrible experience. They said if I am charged for another day for me to call Jake’s Haggle Hut and dispute it. The next day, I saw the charge for another day. I called Jake’s Haggle Hut and learned that there was an emergency with the person who was to open the store. I called customer service again and they said the person who entered my return once they got in, put it through after the time of my reservation due date, so I was charged. This method is terrible because it relies on the location to enter the drop offs on time for each person, which is not always reliable. It takes around 3 business day to be refunded and I am still in the process of waiting for my refund

JAMES STruck was muddy on floor of cab and truck bed. Truck was covered with snow and had to walk through puddles and mud to get to. Their service was good. Had to cover floor to haul mattress and rest of bed.
RONALD RWhen I picked up the U-Haul, I was told I would be reimbursed for the extra days I paid for if I turned the truck in early. I turned the truck in a day and a half early but was not reimbursed. This is my reasoning for giving a 3-star review. I was misled and misinformed.

Roland HRamp on U haul wouldn't come out to work properly then would not go back in all the way so I had to strap it in to return it. The manager where I rented it was very helpful and understanding of the situation. That is why I would recommend a friend to that location.
Joseph GI was told there wasn't anymore trucks available while seeing 3 trucks outside. I went online and then rented one of the trucks in the very location that the man in Jakes Haggle hut told me didnt have anymore trucks. Then I asked for a dolly and there wasn't any available so I had to stop at another location to get a dolly. The man could have told me to check availability online but told me to go further out of my way to another location.

Ian SYour 1st location was closed when I went to pickup the dolley even though your representative via phone call said it was open. The above 2nd location was a one man operation who already had inside customers, I got no reciept from him or help. I find your whole operation disfunctional and have yet to have a good experience. If you weren't the only game in town I'd be gone.
Dave HOnly problem was parking. Because of rain there was puddles everywhere, it was difficult to park the truck otherwise it great customer service.
maurice fThe vehicle should be completely clean For rental pick up. This includes no dirt in the cargo space or on the front seats and dash should be wiped off. If it shines you feel good about it if it’s dirty and dusty you feel as if they don’t care a whole lot. My card was charged for accident insurance which I called and told them I did not want it they said it would be removed upon the completion of the rental. I was also charged an extra day after returning it 15 minutes after the time. The original rep that I talk to said it was no problem returning it a couple hours after the 116 return time hopefully U-Haul returns these charges I’ve never had a problem with one of their full-service locations.

Chad LI received a call the day before my rental that I made a month earlier, that a truck wouldn’t be available. I hard to go to a different location, much farther away to get a truck. I lost money as my movers had to sit around while I traveled the extra distance. Your transportation department continues to over schedule without regard to your customers

CHARLENE FWhen someone rents cause vehicle broke down and couldn’t get parts it would be nice to make adjustment on fees so it’s not so traumatic . I’m 74 and fixed income can you do anything please . I still don’t have my car . They can’t get parts. Please
CHARLENE Fmake sure the pick up location has dolly's and the equipment works properly- I had a 20" truck the seat belt would not latch correctly and had the pleasure of listening to the seat belt alarm for 2 hour drive.
JOHN DThis was beyond a doubt the worst UHaul rental experience ever, and I have rented 4 UHauls this year alone. Customer service puts you on hold for over an hour, and if you press the key to allow them to call you back when you are first in the queue, they call you back and then disconnect. It happened to me TWICE. There are two UHaul locations within 2 miles of me, but I was assigned to one 15 miles away, and then when I was driving there to pick it up, they called me and sent me to a different location. When I got there, there was a problem with my "rental record" and the app would not give me the option to self check out. I had to call customer service, wait an hour, and then be hung up on. AGAIN. I was literally across the street from a Penske location and will be taking my business there next time.
mary bJake’s haggle hut was amazing. However, Uhaul advertises soft ride for the truck. And after having everything secured properly, almost all of the furniture was damaged in some way.
LUKE TPlease make sure that when booking- you do not offer the dolly's and additional items that are not available at this pick up site. This is not the fault of Jake's haggle hut, it is on the part of Uhaul for offering items not available at that pickup location
