The pickup location was excellent. U-haul on the other hand was a nightmare. No confirmation until the day before and it was 1.5 hrs from where I needed it. Then got a call from that location telling me truck wasn't available until Monday. I called customer service and found a smaller truck 10 miles away. Had to get rid of some belongings because of the smaller truck but they don't give a shit. Spend the money on a real mover.justin D.

The manager at Jamestown Feed was such a great communicator. (1) called me to confirm when I going to arrive to make sure I would get there before they closed (2) called me again because she noticed a tire was low - she made arrangements to get the tire fixed before I showed up (3) called me while I was enroute to get the truck to confirm it was in fact ready. She also provided some tips on driving / packing the vehicle - so helpful! And even asking the question 'did we have enough boxes' - good thing we bought more while we were there. If you're going to have people come inside the establishment please have the staff wear a mask! While I was there the lady running the U-Haul had a coughing fit said it was from allergies but we're in the middle of a pandemic and she was not worried a mask made me uneasy will not go back thereMatthew D.

The owner & the facility are nice - but the check engine light was on when I picked up the vehicle. I was told it was OK. As it turns out, the low-oil-pressure warning light came on SEVERAL times during the drive to Tahoe. I towed a vehicle and was told it would be OK. It wasn't. I wasn't sure if the truck would make it - but it did.Robert G.

The Fuel line going to the Fuel tank had an issue. When I was fueling it up, it would constantly back up with fuel and shut off the Fuel nozzle.JAMISON K.

I reserved a 20' long truck a month in advance at the MacHenrry location in Modesto, the day before picking up the truck i recived an email where without asking tbey have switched my location and time. I needed the truck at 7 am and it was changed to 10 am. When i went to the second location there was no truck available after an hour of dealing on the phone with costumer service and in multiple time they tried to change my time again i was finaly able to het the truck i needed but i had to drive an hour away to get it. That was a very poor costumer service experience and tbey even tried to people in front of me saying they need to get the truck too when i had reserved one a month in advance. Terrible experience i was delayed by over half a day and had to drive to diferent locations to get the truck i needed. The ladys at the second and third location were very helpfull but the experience over all with Uhaul was bad.Megan C.

I had to wait while the lady talked to people who were there for other reasons than U-Haul. These people came in after me. The lady's cat jumped on my lap while I was talking to her. This location has other interests than U-HaulFranklin Z.

Started with a uhaul not being available in Roseville when I received the confirmation email that one would be guaranteed at the time requested. They changed the location and said I'd have to go 40 miles out of the way to get it. Called corporate they said they were going to only charge me one way ended up still charging me two. The lady didn't know what she was doing when I went to pick up the uhaul and she had to call corporate 3 times. Took over an hour to just pick up the uhaul after I already reserved it online.
