I do not think I would do business with U-Haul again based on the drop off experience which was abysmally unprofessional. We were redirected to this location for the drop off during out move (the new location was a great deal further than my selected one). There is NO signage visible from the street (just a small 15cm sticker on the door of a used cell phone store). There was no parking. When I entered there was not an employee on site. Instead, a surly man was playing dominos and he told me to just park the truck at the No Frills across the street. He was rude and unhelpful. It was very difficult to turn the vehicle around on the snowy side street I had been forced to park on while I hunted for the retail location. I then had to drive several blocks to get to the No Frills parking lot which is across the street from the U-Haul outlet. When I returned there was STILL no U-Haul employee....just a teenager on a cell phone with headphones who gave me a cell number for the employee Cuaco? He told me just to leave the vehicle and the key with the teenager. I asked who was going to check the vehicle and give me a sign off. His answer: "well, I'm not there". No one looked at the vehicle or checked it's condition, mileage or fuel level. Instead, I took photos for my own records and with great reservation I left the key with the teenager who did not seem to work there. This was one of the WORST rental experiences I have had. After spending over $300 I left the vehicle worried that the truck might be declared lost or damaged and that I would have NO recourse. I urge you to reconsider this location and this "independent" outlet model which is unprofessional and inconvenient. It certainly lost you a future customer today. I would invite someone from head office to get in touch with me to discuss this further. CRAIG DOUGLAS
