I scheduled a pick in Lancaster, PA 1/4 mile from place I needed truck. On day before I was told there we no one-way trucks available and had to drive an hour into MD to get a truck (2 hour round trip). What to improve? When a customer requests, and it's confirmed online that a truck will be available a month before the scheduled pick up date...DON'T TELL THEM ONE WAS NOT (AND NEVER) AVAILABLE AT THE LOCATION RESERVED LESS THAN 24 HOURS FROM PICK UP. Also did not have furniture dollies needed (nor did the U-Haul location I originally requested pickup) and insufficient furniture blankets. Not related to pick-up but in general: Truck was used for cross country (PA to Seattle) move. Truck has no cruise control (anyone tried driving 3k miles w/o cruise lately), no sound insulation (had to wear ear plugs for 6 days), an averaged 7.5 mpg at or below posted speed limits (much less than the 12 mpg avg advertised for 15' truck (that was only a 1/3 loaded).MARKALAN S.

Very disappointed with my experience at this location. Van was high mileage (70k) with bad shocks and a driver door that didn't want to shut. The associates are not attentive and don't seem to know how to use the system. Tried to charge me for a dirty van, which was not dirty. At first said they didn't have the furniture pads I'd reserved and then somehow had them, and upon return wanted me to repackage my used pads for next customer--I refused as I thought each customer was supposed to get fresh pads. I've had many excellent experiences at other UHaul locations over many years and will continue to be a customer--but not at this location.Timothy L.

The mobile experience for picking up Au haul and dropping offer you haul at this location was extremely frustrating. When I got to the location there was no service so I couldn't get AGPS signal. Therefore I had to have someone at the location help me and they were unable to do so in a quick manner. The same thing happened when I went to drop the you haul off. The purpose of being able to rent the tracker online is to make it easy. It was anything but easy.Kimberly S.
My Uhaul experience this time around was pretty bad compared to the many I have had in the past. First the Uhaul location where I picked up my rental truck at was not clearly marked as a Uhaul pick up area which made it a hard know where to park. Secondly the attendant had no idea what he was doing when it came to filling out the initial form. However he was very kind and patient who which made the situation better. Next, the truck did NOT have the dozen blankets I ordered online Which made moving glass for the move very complicated. So I would like a refund for the blankets I never received. Then when I arrived at my house to start loading the truck. I discovered the storage area was littered with dirt and foliage that I had to remove. I expected better from Uhaul especially since I have never had these issues before.Aaron B.

Donut rent trucks with transmission problema especially when thecustomer has 61/2 hours of traveling.and return correct deposits when you say you will! $50.00 is not a compensation for all you put us through! Tank was less than 1/2 full when I picked it up. Guy couldn't communicate in English very well. He asked me if I filled it up when I returned. So I tried to explain I didn't get it with full tank. Not sure if the communication was successful. Truck performed well.Kent R.
