The average amount of gallons to fill the tank was inaccurate in order to fill back to where the gas was before we got the uhaul, so it was overfilled to "full" when we paid for gas, so we overpaid for gas in that sense. Although we overpaid to fill the tank due to inaccurate approximation on the handout that was provided to us to fill back to the line the tank was at when we received the Uhaul initially, we got charged extra for the few extra miles we went over. I understand being over mileage and having to pay those dues, but when we overfilled the gas tank we should have been reimbursed for that. I am very upset with this experience, as I have never had an issue with returning a Uhaul, and unfortunately this was an after hours drop off.Brock E.

The night before pickup, I was told truck would be at another location in town. When I went there, it was not open and no equipment was there. I called the booking location and was told that I would need to go 28 miles to pick up the truck. After returning home, I found that I had received a phone message and two emails about the changed location, only after my phone call. Why was I not informed of the changed location before I went to the original specified location and phoned the location where I had made the reservation?donald A.

The online site does not show current inventory. When viewing the uhaul site shows all trucks available, but does not take into account reservations already made. This will cause users to think they can get a 26ft truck even though there are none available. Bad website. The location we visited in Galesville WI was great though. I would recommend Jeff's Service, but will never again use or recommend U-Haul. Jeff's was great at helping out with the mess of your service. Truck after truck was reserved for me and then they would be gone. When I finally got a truck after hours of wasted time over 2 days I could not pick it up unless I paid $253 of which just got me to the next morning at 8am!!! Not exactly the advertised price of $39.99 a day! The order was for four days. When Infinally returned it 4 days later I was expected to pay another $125, i chose the option to dispute as that is ridiculous and nothing like what you advertise. The app said i would be contacted in 48 hours to discuss the dispute, that didnt happen. Instead Inget an email saying I still owe money. U-Haul is a joke and is ripping me off.James K.
This place of pu was awesome we originally were supposed to pu in Lacrosse on Jackson St. We made our reservation a month in advance and when we went to pick it up they did not have the trailer we had reserved. They did not offer to try and resolve they issue, they basically said they didn't have it too bad.Wayne G.
I requested a dolly. None available. Would have been VERY helpful to have known this proir to pickup!! Galesville was quite a bit out of our way, when we requested LaCrosse. I had preregistered for fast checkout online. When I got to pick up location, they had my reservation, but I had to give them all my info again. It didn't work when they entered it on the computer so they had to call U-haul and I had to give the info a 3rd time. It took 37 minutes to checkout. Very frustrating!Thomas S.

Overall, the truck was cleaned and well kept but the inside of the truck was very dusty and it was not swept from the last use. I had to sweep all of the dirt and dust out before using it. This was the first Uhaul truck that I had to do this in as most of the trucks that I've rented in the past were clean inside the storage part of the truck.Kou V.

Instead of us being able to get a uhaul from our location because none were in stock. We had to drive 30 miles to pick up the uhaul. Instead of us being reimbursed the mileage to get it from there to where we needed it, it came out of our expenses. So we used up half our mileage just getting the uhaul to where we needed it and then move our stuff from there to 9 miles away.Carol H.

Make sure your online system is working right. We had a26 foot truck set-up with movers. Did not happen. They told us sorry overbooked, but we have a the smallest truck only for that day. I was not happy but customer service call center was abel to get use a 15 footer not the best but better than a baby truck. Jeff's Service in Galesville was great will refer them to anybody. Lacrosse U-Haul Kind of still leaves a sour note for the miss up. But they did help out on 3 other times over a month's time span.Kenneth V.

Picking up the truck was not a problem. It was only until we learned that we were given the " wrong information" . We were told that if we rented a 20' truck or larger we could have one free month rental of a storage unit. The attendent helping me assured me first month was free and he even found the location that better met our needs in Oak Creek,WI. When we arrived at that site the owner told us that we were not given the correct information. We drove 30 min from our original route to find out we could not use the storage unit. I called the store and spoke to Andrew (same person I spoke to in the beginning. He said he didn't know about the other information.And could not help me any longer so he would need to talk to his manager. I waited approximately 2 hrs. My fiance found a resolution ( on his own) . One he later Andrew called back he said he found a unit , but not where we needed it . We experienced such a poor managed store Poor help. SLOW unsure of information . The cost of everything was NOT worth ever returning to UHaul again. I will be sharing this experience with ALL my friends and family including my Facebook page. People have got to know.
