This is just a random parking lot. There was no one there, and the guy refused to answer his phone. The night before when I was told my reservation had changed to this location, the guy answered right away, twice. He told me I had to set up mobile check in, so I did. Once checking in on pick up day, I was prompted to go inside and pick up the key. WHAT INSIDE!? LIterally just a box on a wall with no one on site. Continued to call repeatedly and tried to 800 number for half an hour with not one person answering. I was not the only customer there and they too were experiencing the same unacceptable service. The chat was the only saving grace. They at least tried to find me another truck. If this guy keeps his Uhaul license, you truly do not care about your company.John G.

Hello, This location does not accept U-Haul trucks. There was no drop off box. I did everything online and the UHaul website was not up-to-date, so I did not find out this site was no longer accepting U-Hauls until it was time to drop the vehicle off. The building was empty. When we called the number, the person who answered the phone stated that we should contact customer service to find a new location to drop off. I waited 20 minutes for a customer representative. After 11 minutes, the representative could not find my reservation and said I could take the U-Haul to the place where I dropped off the "car carrier". She put me on hold to "talk" to someone and we were disconnected. I never got a call back. I took the U-Haul to Store #776060 where Kendrick helped me to check in the truck. He helped to alleviate a very stressful situation that was the result of the U-haul website not being updated. Simliar to when I picked up the truck in Indiana, the employee at the site was wonderful, but the U-Haul organization's systems added stress to an already cross-country move. We returned the trunk on time and filled with gas and some how I was charged a late fee. Because the retailer did not process the return. I was contacted by your recovery department and I also informed them I returned the unit on time. But still I was charged. So I will never recommend your service yo any one or any of my business contacts. Your company should be very ashamed!Travis S.

First, my pickup location was changed without my approval. I was late picking up my rental but called and talked to the personnel. While trying to find the location, mind you I was in the parking lot but looking for an Uhaul sign, I called the guy four times. Each time, I was told person had no voice mail. Finally saw the little sign in the window, parked and went in. I identified myself and asked for my rental. He got smart and I agreed I was late. He said he rented the truck to someone else although two trucks the size I wanted were in the parking lot. I didn't appreciate the smart mouth. My son-in-law was trying to find another truck rental place. Long story short, I will never pick up at this location again.Beverly M.

This was one of the worst customer experiences I've had. I will not be recommending U-Haul, and especially this location. My comments for improvement would be to have my equipment available at the time of the appointment. The neighborhood dealer was very rude and threatened to not give me my uhaul because I was upset I had to wait in the cold half an hour. I was literally in tears and he was claiming that it is not his responsibility that it is not available at the time I made the appointment, and that if I don't change my attitude he would not give me my uhaul. Very bad customer service. I had to pay my movers extra since they also had to wait a whole extra hour. I called and made an official complaint and was told that a supervisor would call me back and no one did. In summary, you can improve by treating your customers nicer.Xenia S.
I picked up the truck about 3:30pm. 0n 10/6/2017 and returned about 7:30on 10/6/2017 and I replaced the gas. Didn't get my email receive my receipt until 10/10/7/2017 and they over charge me for rental and insurance for another day and gas that I replaced. Customer service was not much help said I had to wait there or four days for an investigation. Never had problems with u-haul before. Will never refer this location to anyoneClaude R.

I never received the confirmation of when and where to pick up the truck. I wasn't allowed to pick it up until Noon. They didn't have the truck that I have reserved. They gave me a 20 foot truck. The mileage on the truck was off by 3 miles ! He told me it would be 20 min before he could fix it if I wanted to wait! I waited for 20 minutes while he was on the phone with his wife than I asked how much longer and he told me he haven't started on it yet and if I couldn't wait I could go somewhere else! he to me it was only $2.10 and laughed! This have been my best Uhaul experience ever and we have been this company for many years this location was able to assist my wife and myself with all way needed our house flooded and we needed a truck to get a few things and while we were there Metro Discount is managed by JFA & More Furniture where years ago our sister had furnished her whole house with furniture from them that saved her over $2000.on the same items she had on lay-a-way with $300 down. at another store and she could not find the number for years but luckily we found them we refurnished our complete home through them as well very pleased and also was able to get us all new cell phones while we was there for a cheaper price on our same network plan they offered inside as well. Just can not thank these guys for the greatest service words just cant say. -Be able to locate a customers reservation number -Communicate with staff of on going situations -Pick up the phone when customers are calling -Once staff picks up phone do not automatically put the caller on hold -Do not cancel customers reservation 30 minutes before the scheduled pick up especially if the customer called 2 hrs in advance to confirm pick up time -If you are going to cancel a customers reservation please give the customer a call in advance If you do cancel a customers reservation give the customer a call after cancellationDESMOND B.
The office environment wasn't conducive to the normal "UHAUL" that we'really used to when had services at other UHAUL locations, was very disappointed. Truck was dirty inside they had to be asked to clean it before we took it. Shame on them won't be using this locationagain. SORRY.Tommycine H.

It wasn't made clear to me initially that insurance was mandatory and I didn't find out until I returned the truck. However, the customer service person was very courteous.JAMES T.
The Metropolitan location was provided as the location closest to me by reservations..... at the metropolitan location I asked if I needed the insurance given I had my own, the location operator mentioned it was already added in and wasn't familiar, this fee was not mentioned to me in the reservation process. I phoned into customer service, asked what I needed to do so that the added insurance would be removed and was told I'd have to wait until I turned the cargo back in to see what could be done. Leaving Metropolitan there was a concern with the stability, called customer service who referred us to the closest Crop location which was on Washington, passed them and ended up not being able to turn or back the tow and vehicle around to head back to the Washington Rd location. Two representatives from the Washington location drove to us - they too were not successful in backing out the tow, mentioned it was not safe and to take it to the Old National Crop location which tended to have a larger inventory. The tow was removed and replaced so that eventually the representative from the Washington location was able to back it out and we were on our way to the Old National Crp location, where I was prepared to turn the cargo in for another. Chris (with 18 yrs under his belt) would of been more than accommodating with that request, yet proceeded to inform me there was nothing wrong with the cargo van, it was simply not connected properly. Chris took the time to re-connect the cargo, made certain all the lights were in working order and all else that I as a lay person would have no idea, he truly inspected and made certain we would have a safe journey from GA to AZ. I will never rent a hula from this place again. Prob not uhaul period. They opened late and when I called to ask if they were open they say they were but I was outside looking in and no one was there. He changed his statement and said he be pulling up in a minute when I told him I was there and didn't see anyone. Didn't show up until 8 minutes later. They were rude and unfriendly. Place was so dirty. Customer service sucker. Never again. Never ever again. Oh. And when I returned they weren't there but had me give the keys to a coworker. When I got my receipt via email they said I didn't folll the tank wen I did. Charged me. I am in the middle of disputing it. But this place is the epitome of low downIcah P.

Thanks so much for sending me and my family to this location it worked out so great. The guy helped us out so much were do I begin our car broke down 2 blocks away they came pick us up. Got a guy to look at it while we did paper work allowed our kids to wait in back while my wife changed our baby and they completed our paper work and the guy Edward came back and said we got your car ready and allowed us so much customer service it was beyond just about business. Shut this location down ! Failed to call me to notify of appointment. No u haul sign on exterior . Smoking in building. Babies crying in the back . Staff rude and incompetent. Took 30 minutes for him to go through a reservation that was already payed for, then asked me to pay again...cash ! i had a reservation # 25872668 at KD Tropical Market. WhenI arrived to pick up my rental truck it was not available. Spoke to a customer service rep who stated I could go to Wash & Spon on Campbelton Rd, must have truck back by 9am for an out of town reservation i stated that i should get some type of discount for my inconvience, customer service was not accomadating or compassonate. i was also charged an addtionial $55.00 when i did return the truck to JFA & More Discount stating I did not meet gas standard whcih is not true, I had a deadline to get this truck back and I gave my work because he was so nice, he was the only U Hual emplouee that tried to help me. i had truck back ahead of time needed. i think I should be refunded my $55.00 for my time and inconveince .
