Make sure the rental equipment reserved in advance is available at the reserved location so the customer doesn't have to drive for 2 hours to replace the equipment that was reserved and then rented out from under them 24 hours prior to pickup of the rental equipment that was reserved.

Very dirty front seats and smelled like wet dog. Not impressed. We had to pick up keys at one location and truck at another location. Our preferred location did not have the truck we ordered. We had to pick up this truck 1.5 hours away.

Zachary KWho looks after servicing the vehicles? The truck had an engine issue (a missing nut), that caused a lot of stress and cost us an extra 2 hours making a 12 hour trip a 14 hour trip. Very frustrating.
Don KProbably a matter of timing, but when I went to pick up my equipment the person who had the information about Uhaul was not available. We muddled through the rental process, which was fine, except that they then emailed me my rental contract and the information about how to hook up the trailer and safety information. I pointed out that it was moving day and I didn't have time to unpack a device that I could view the email on, so they printed it for me, which was nice, but then did not go over anything with me to make sure I wasn't a complete idiot about hauling a trailer. The equipment was not kept near the building where their office was, but they also did not have anyone available to go out to the location with me - luckily it's a small town so directions were easy, but then I found that with the winter weather the tongue had sunk three inches into the mud of the parking area and then frozen. So there I was, in a snow squall, chipping away at frozen mud so that I could lift the tongue enough to attach it to my car. I tried to call the rental location twice in the half hour it took me to free up the equipment, but their line was busy and even if I could get through...there was one lady there running the store who couldn't shut down the store to come out and help me. Lucky me, small town. An old gaffer saw me attacking the ground with a hatchet and offered up a metal tool I could use as a lever. So for improvements to the location I say have someone on hand to go out with the people picking up the equipment in case they need help/don't know how to back up/didn't ask for a printout to learn how to tighten down the hitch and attach the chains, and to check the equipment before pickup to make sure it's not frozen into three inches of mud.

Kevin NI ordered a closed trailer. Specifically called the location to ensure it would be available...was assured I would get what i needed. Got there to find an open trailer. Despite having used uhaul before, I had to go the the onerous check-in with all my vehicle specifics. Young and in inexperienced attendant took ages to process the sign-out.
CEDRIC Tthe staff in this location were very good. the only thing is that I ended up having to pay for extra KM to drop off my truck. this should never have happenned so there has to be an issue with how U haul calculates KM. We drove straight here and there was no detours at all but we still had to pay. I have submitted a complaint and I am looking forward to speaking with someon e about it.

Kimberly LIssue was not with this location. The fact that I had to drive an hour out of my way (when my town has a depot) was unacceptable. All to find out that the only rental available was smaller than what I had ordered.

Ursula RUpdate and simplify the UHaul software used by dealers. At best it is often problematic and not user friendly. Takes much more time to initiate and complete a returning customer contract than would be ideal. Time is money! If you have a returning customer...software should be designed to basically require payment and acceptance. A few minutes in and out! Unfortunately the software client logging/contract program still requires way too much data to be requested and painstakingly re-entered each time....when there are no customer changes and even though program has the customer in the database. Cone on UHaul----update your software. I have been served at varied dealers across Ontario, Canada....and this issue presents itself at all locations. It is the problematic software design. Do your customers and dealers all a big service! It will also advance efficiency and profit. Thank you.

DAVIDW AThe location is not the issue, its the company. Terrible customer service over the phone. Broken promises with commitments to making sure that the truck that has been put on reserve is available not happening. I have used U-Haul twice now, and I would heavily recommend against using U-Haul to anyone. It's a shame that we are stuck with U-Haul as the only moving company in our area, hopefully in the coming years someone more competent will run a moving company so everyone can watch U-Haul go out of business. Worst customer service I have ever seen. Absolutely appalling...

Joey NI had to drive an hour the pick up the truck. Yes they gave the extra kms but I used my own gas and it took gas to drive it back. The steering wheel shook when you tried to brake and the brakes were really scary. They need to be changed because it was very dangerous. I picked my pick up location and my drop off and both changed. I had to call and ask why they changed it for me to drive across town.

Rob EHad the worst experience as the lady just showed me where is the Trailer situated and then say “bye”.. I had no clue how to fix the trailer with my car especially the chain and all! Had to watch a YouTube video in order to fix it! Worst feeling ever as I drove 5 hours to get the trailer from my home address despite having a Uhaul there on top paid an extra Day rental just because I had to drive 10 hours up and down to get it and with the service I received.. Big Thumbs Down Very unprofessional service Wish I could get my money back for that day I wasted!

It caused the worker at this site to go in before opening time. when I did not show up early she went home. Then she wasn't there for our agreed upon time. Between the computer glitch and this fictitous call it put me behind by several hours.

Yvette STruck was at the location on time as promised when reservation was maDE at the drop off location. In good condition and clean. I was pleased to see a dolly and a bunch of blankets were included. I thought there would be eTrack but there wasn't. There were boards fastened to each wall that were used with ropes to hold taller cabinets. There is no shelving for stacking odd shaped items. Using UHAUL boxes made loading very easy as they were sturdy and of sizes to maximize the space.
