I was charged $12 for the rental of a utility dolly that was not present when I picked up my truck rental. The call that was supposed to come in the night before to get me approved for my after hours mobile pickup? That never came either. I was out in the cold at the pickup location for an hour, on the phone with Uhaul corporate, trying to figure out how to get the keys to the truck I needed to rent.

ASHLEY BUsing the U-Haul app was horrible and I could not reach a human by chat or phone to assist me. I would like to recommend U-Haul use an app like National Car Rental or Enterprise.

Debbie WThe utility dollies I reserved were not there, making it VERY difficult to move the large items we had from our second story apartment. We told him that was a problem. He told us to just deal with it and made it seem ridiculous that it would upset us. He told us "I only get $5 out of this. I can make a lot more from the other stuff I do." Then He charged my son's credit card additional $500 a few days after we returned the truck!!!! My son is STILL dealing with the credit repercussions!!! The owner wasn't even there when we returned it! He had a note on the door saying he would be out for a while! This has caused me to rethink using ANY U-Haul dealer EVER again!

Stephanie SBe sure that the extra equipment is actually available. I ordered a dolly but it wasn't available at this location with the trailer. I would have incurred extra hassle if I wasn't prepared with my own equipment. Additionally, remind the customer that the 6x12 trailers do not have any way to unhook until it is empty, just so they know. Everywhere I needed to use my truck, the trailer also had to go with me...being to the hotel, Home Depot, wherever...and it was not always accommodating to the size of the situation.
Thomas MFix the system to where it calculates & charges the customer got the correct amount of days hours and milage used that way Jimmy's autos can look in the system and find accurate information, When returning of the rental is in process.

KELLY HU-Haul rentals always seem to be more money than expected, you advertise $19.95 for a 4 hr rental, but the mileage fees and taxes always seem to jack the rates up way beyond your advertisement. I paid $142.00 for a 3 1/2 hr Pickup truck rental?

ANDREW PVehicle was not ready for pickup. I registered to pick up at 7am with mobile device. Called in for support. Was able to retrieve Vehicle keys around 845am. Owner of uhaul center called us after we had left the facility because customer support told us we had to wait until 9am to pick up vehicle. Customer support stated she would give us 50.00 credit and she moved the turn in time to Thursday morning from Wednesday morning. We turned it in on Wednesday morning.

ANDREW PThe truck had no AC in 95+ degree heat. The mobile pickup option took us over an hour to get to work and we had to call someone to get it to go through. Not a pleasant experience at all.

Karen DI wasn’t expecting to pick up the uhaul at a location where there wasn’t someone there to hand me the keys. I was thankful for the assistance over the phone from uhaul. THE UHAUL LEAKED AND ALOT OF MY STUFF GOT WET. I WAS UPSET ABOUT THAT. The drop off location was a breeze.

Dorinda LPlease indicate the availability of the truck 48 hours upon reservation as I reserve our truck like 3 days prior to our trip but only to find out that on the pickup day it is not available and we have to go to Jimmy's which is in Moultrie and that is 35mins away from our town and our original pick up location and it is so frustrating. Anyway, driving the truck was a good experience and the truck was quite new so I have no problems with it, it's just the availability of the truck itself upon pick up.

kenneth sWell when I got in the truck it felt like it needed spark plugs. Then 3/4 the way done with my trip the check engine light came on. Had to make a call which pushed me past my drop off time. Then had to decide if the truck would make it back to the lot cause I was on the phone for 30 mins waiting for roadside to answer and they never did. So overall not too great. Plus the truck was supposed to have furniture blankets in it but it didn't. Did have a dolly though and halfway decent anchor points just wished they had some about 6 inches above the floor. Ps a 26 ft truck only gets at the best 8.5 mpg at 60. Average was 7.3 which means 125 miles cost me about 15 gallons of GAS should not be a gas truck that size too inefficient!

JIM THad no pads ...took me two hours to check in with the 24/7. I had to go 30 miles out of my way to pick up ttuck and then got charged Xtra for milage.
Terry JThe back had not been sweep out. Had a dirty syringe needle in the back. I had a reservation for one area that didn’t even have my truck was sent to another area 40 miles away. I was supposed to be getting a 20 foot Truck but I got a 26 instead. That’s a totally difference and how they’re driven not to mention I didn’t even get my dolly that I paid for which caused us trouble unloading our items. Y’all need to get it together. U-Haul is the only place in our town every time I use them they suck
