It was a horrible experience. After picking up the trailer one of the tires exploded on the freeway. Luckily no major damage was done and no one was harmed. I was able to drag the trailer off the freeway with my vehicle and bring it to a park and ride to wait. A tow truck showed up shortly after, which was great, but U-Haul insisted on the tow truck leaving to go repair the wheel with a new tire rather than towing the trailer away. Because of this I had to wait at the park in ride for over an hour for the tire to return. Upon the return of the driver with the tire, he inspected the other tire and sure enough it was completely loose. Thankfully this wheel did not come off the trailer, but it easily could have. After all of this, I drove the trailer back to the drop off location and the shop closed an hour and a half before their posted closing time.

Showed up to rent an open trailer. First the guy pulls out an enclosed trailer from within the shop. Then have to wait while he pulls out the correct one. The trailer that ended up being rented to me had a nail one of the tires. After pointing it out to him he said it’s okay and to call if anything happens. The trailer worked fine, only needed it for a few hours and no freeway driving. When I returned I was charged 3 fees that I did not agree to. When asking the person running the dealer location to send me a receipt and explain the charges he said he was unable to print or remove the wrong charges and to call the customer line. The person on the phone was helpful and let me know it would be corrected in a few days. At the end of the day only two out of three fees were removed. I like uhaul but this dealer location was the worst I’ve used.
