Over charged had to wait 40+ minis for the lady to get there. Was supposed to drop off at same location but was forwarded to another location. Overall my experience this time with U-Haul was horrible

modesto gI called a few days ago about this location and find it very disturbing that U-Haul as a company will let anyone just rent out their equipment. The lady wasn’t even on time we waited 20 minutes for her to show up. The 10’ truck’s cab was dirty with dried mud all the floor board passenger and driver side. The mark for the gas level was wrong ABC’s overstated. We later found that one of the tires had a slow leak because of a faulty rim and ended up having to call road side assistance which set us back 2 hours from our desired departure time. U-Haul must check into their operators because this was a total fail on the companies part.
Ramon SI scheduled my pickup in Midland. Uhaul corporate called and said the truck I reserved wouldn’t be available in Midland but there was one in Odessa and they wouldn’t charge me the extra miles to get it. When I went to pick up my truck, the place was hard to find because it was actually an African foods store with a tiny little Uhaul sticker in the corner. It was run down and frankly pretty sketchy. There was a sign posted that said “Closed.” We rang the bell and after several minutes a woman finally let us in. She barely spoke English, and was on the phone with someone speaking a foreign language throughout the entire transaction. She spoke with them more than us. She told us she didn’t have the blankets we reserved, but that we wouldn’t be charged for them. Of course I was charged anyway. I will never use the place again and I’ll tell all my friends not to.
