Great experience for our first time use of a 9' Uhaul van to move a family member to a new apartment in Lyndhurst NJ. Grace provided us with outstanding customer service and we would highly recommend using this location(Park Ave) and their vehicles.

I did not say that you had to completely check in online. The place was not open. We had to do online checking and we had to wait for one hour and a half minutes. Also, I was changed mid week from North Arlington to Lyndhurst. I will have to think twice before renting a u-haul again,

Customer service is absolutely horrendous. I would never use uhaul ever again. If I moved across Canada I would rather do multiple trips with a pickup truck rather than renting with uhaul again.

I would recommend that they not make their customer wait so long. They explained that someone has taken over their computer. I was there 30 mins early, and I ended up waiting a lot longer for the rental.

1) Van was parked between other vehicles. It took 15-20 minutes to move the car out of parking lot, and I did it by moving jet ski parked next to the van that I have rented. 2) I paid for a dolly and there was no dolly inside the vehicle. Called customer service, and they recommended me to drive to U-Haul location in Newark, NJ. When I arrived there, store worked told me she did not receive a call from the customer service. Guess what? There was no dolly at that location. So, the same store worker made a few calls and reserved one dolly at the U-haul store in East Orange, NJ. I finally drove there and picked it up. Then I had to drive all the way back to South Hackensack to move my stuff. So, I was charged for the miles that I had to pick up a dolly which was supposed to be inside the vehicle at the first place. Not to mention, I also had to pay for gas. I'm hoping U-Haul will apply partial refund !!!

I rented a trailer that was hooked up onto my friends truck. My friend had called and they held the reservation with his card. When we got to the place I wanted to use my card to pay since it was my bill. The young lady who helped us told me that I will be able to pay when I Return the one-way trailer. When I got to the place to deliver the trailer I was told that the bill was paid with my friends card and I was not able to reverse the charges. That was an inconvenience for me since I was paying with a credit card. Maybe the young woman did not know this information but Her lack of this information was a problem for me. I wish I would have been better informed.

Have a representative present , the online check in process was not pleasant it took at least 45 minutes up of my contract time. At least with a live person you will have the customer happy that they can utilize the time they have it for. Also I rented it with a appliance truck which there was none.

The roll up windows were a little awkward. Most vehicles now have automatic windows. They were tough 2 get accustomed 2.

I requested a dolly with the truck but because the place closes at 12 pm on Saturday, It wasn't available so I suggest to put any extra equipment requested in the truck for the self pick up just in case the location closes, the customer would find everything requested available

Drove off lot at 11:45 am. Didn't look at time on agreement sheet but they put time in as 11 am and had to rush a little extra so I didn't get charged for an extra day

Hi, I just received my receipt. I need a refund for the 2 furniture dollies and the furniture pads. JPR cycles did not have any of those items that I paid for. Also, JPR rented the truck that we were supposed to get, to someone else. So I was stuck waiting in their location for 40 minutes during my paid 6 hour window. Because of them not giving us the proper equipment that was already paid for, it took me longer to move.

Love U-Haul but this place needs to be better in customer service. I expect the rep to come outside and check the equipment to be in good working condition and assist the customer in its use. The last trailer I rented was missing a strap and I had to go in to let them know. That was somewhat disappointing.

First of all I had to go to a different location than what I picked and when I got there, I was told that the supplies I ordered were not at that location, so I had to go to another location to get them. Thanks to the employess at the Saddle Brook location they reserved the supplies and I didn't have to return them and the truck to 2 different locations! Not too happy with this experience.

The transaction went smoothly. They had the truck we needed. The interior was clean in the back and even in the front. The only complaint I have is that they added a safemove fee when I opted out of it.

I was jerked around unfairly all day by extremely poor customer service and unreliablity. Original location (90 Baldwin Ave, Jersey City) did not have my uhaul as scheduled. They then made me go to Lynhurst to get one, with a guarantee I would be refunded $50 for the trouble. Not only was I not refunded, but they explained I needed to drive the uhaul back to Lynhurst with no plans of doing so, no refund and was threatened to be charged $300+ if not returned. Worst experience in my entire life.
