The staffer was not service focused and seemed intent on having me do everything online. When I had connectivity issues he did help complete the reservation. No one checked out the truck before I left and same on return. I ended up charged for 5 gals of gas when I had returned it at the level I’d been given (half tank.) when I went back to the store to have the bill adjusted the same attendant told me to contact U-Haul and I didn’t need to come back to the store. I did reach out to U-Haul local management and was well cared for. They responded with understanding and refunded me for the extra gas. U-Haul was great, truck was clean, but I won’t rent from Judy’s Herb and Tobacco Shop again.

Have equipment clean. Box of truck was filthy. Informed cashier of problem and he pointed towards a broom! Trucks battery was almost dead, finally cranked and informed cashier of problem, did not seem to care! Bad vibration in truck at any speed above 55mph.

I would appreciate not being charge 3 different amounts after the 1st time when I pick the truck up which serves as a deposit. I still haven't seen where that was deposited back into my account for those times. I don't have over 300 dollars to give away. Please review my account and return like you said it would . Also please call the location to see if the truck has been returned first seeing that they have the numbers on the trucks and on my receipt to walk out there and tell you . They have to go out to get the ending mileage any way for the final true receipt. This would be truly appreciated. I would like to keep using your services as long as it is feasible and affordable.

No employee to unhook trailer. Said we had to wait several hours for help. Had to go find a 2x4 to pry the tongue off the ball. Employee had no access to U-Haul computer system. Asked me if I could call someone to help me unhook trailer. Unbelievable Could not provide receipt for return. Said they would email Still don’t have it

Hello, please review my records if you have them and see just how many times I have booked uhaul trucks in the last 3 to 8 years. There have been many times. I have never had a bad experience with a uhaul truck. However, when I picked up this truck it was FILTHY inside and out. The front of the truck had drink bottles, cans and wrappers all inside it. The windshield was so bad on the inside that I could not see after dark. The back of the truck had potting soil or top soil all in it. I had to clean it out completly clean the truck before using it. I paid over $700 dollars total for the use of this truck and felt WAY OVERCHARGED! I am not one to usually complain but for the amount of money that I spent, everything should have been top notch. I have never understood why if I have to pay mileage do I have to replace fuel or visa versa. Its too much. From now on, I will probably look into other companies before I book a truck to use. I had great service from the drop off location. I have no complaints about them but otherwise, this experience was aweful.

Truck was mildly dirty inside cab and inside the hauling area.....other than that it was in good shape

There was only one employee at the location and he was busy serving customers coming to store for beverages and tobacco. I had to find my assigned Uhaul in the lot and hook it up to the dolly (that I also had to back up to with no assistance). The Uhaul was dirty with leaves and debris in the van so had to be swept out before I could load furniture. When the dolly was hooked up the lights didn't work. The employee said I would have to wait until tomorrow for another dolly but I had to leave that day because I was moving to another state. They transitioned me to a vehicle tow trailer they had on the lot but wouldn't help with hook up. No one informed us of how to open the car door with the wheel well blocking access once the car was loaded on the trailer. They told us we had to climb out the window! Imagine my surprise when I viewed the video online about the wheel well collapsing so that one could enter and exit a loaded vehicle (I didn't watch the videos for the vehicle tow trailers because I had ordered the vehicle dolly). This is something the employee should have known about! The employees were no help and this all took over two hours on a long hot busy moving day. I have never been to a Uhaul where they did not walk around the vehicle with you and help with hook up and make sure everything was correct. When I mentioned the state of the van and dolly and lack of preparedness on thier part, the employee blamed the fact the parking lot is not fenced for the state of their equipment, but I had a reservation and they should have checked the van and trailer before I arrived to pick it up.

I dropped the trailer off on 2/5/24, but dud not use the self checkout feature as the location was staffed, the contract was pulled up, I was told where to park the trailer, and told I was set. That location did not close out the contract; in fact it did not get closed out until ~ 24 hours later after a phone call to the U-haul service center on the evening of 2/5, a follow-up chat on mid-day the 6th after seeing the contract still open. I returned to the drop-off location again later in the afternoon of the 2/6, and the contact was finally closed out. Accountability at the drop-off location to me was lacking..

The employee didn't know what to do and the boss wasn't in. Finally used your website to check trailer in and after uploading pics, it never confirmed the trailer was checked in. Had to call again and was told it was checked in and IT is working on the website issue. Extremely frustrating.

I had to ask a person in the parking lot to help me figure out how to unhitch the trailer as the clerk inside would not do anything to help. He would not even take the rental receipt. I called U-Haul customer service to ensure my equipment return was annotated; nevertheless I received an automated text two days later stating I needed to go through an online equipment return. My one main suggestion to your reservation process is make a note on which locations are hands-free because I certainly would not have selected a return location where there would be no support.

They tax fuck out of you charged me 120$ for gas when I took it back how I got it, charged me for cleaning it, I sweeped an took by car wash before taking back , , I gave them a extra 100$:for deposit for over mileages says I didn't.. and they charged me $170 for U-Haul I gave them 200$+ deposit fee of an additional $100.00.. they called me to see if I brought a 26ft U-Haul back like they couldn't see out there then said I owed them $570.88 ... So that's the $300 to rent it for 24hr + the $570 + the $350 I put in gas!!! Hell I could of damn near bought my own box truck for that I'll never rent anything from y'all again... I would rather pay a moving company hell u come out cheaper

Do not double charge them like you did me. I want my $156.00$ back that ya’ll over charged me. I will contact the home office and file a grievance and my bank will file fraud charges against you if I do not get my money back. Have spoken with the bank and they are waiting for my money to arrive in my account. So am I. I will not recommend u haul to anyone. It is terrible and thieves
