Truck didn’t drive/run well and too expensive. Next time I’m renting with Penske and they’ll have my business going forward

CHARLES LMy reservation was changed to different location without notice plus truck was downsized with out any notification , 2 hours later after original pick up time I had the truck that I ordered after 3 locations. This is 2 bad experiences in a roll, last time I rented a trailer I had to drive an hour out of the way to pick up.
Roger MWhen I picked up the trailer, I requested a location for drop off, close to my address, this did not happen. There were considerable locations much closer. Not good.
DONALD HLocation was just for trucks, no store for supplies but that is fine because I already had everything I needed. The staff was great; I was there less than 10 minutes. Truck was new (only 19K miles) and ran great.
JOSEPH OOur mover helpers here where so thoughtful and caring. They couldn’t believe what the truck looked like and worked extra hard to not cause any more damage to our belongings. Very pleased with their work 🙂

Russell CHave clear instructions on how to access the vehicle on the outside of the building. I did not receive any information on how to access the vehicle by either text message or email. The website kept crashing on us when trying to get the vehicle so it took us nearly an hour to complete the process. Having an individual present should have been offered. I hate the completely online process as your website can't handle the traffic and made the pick up process a royal pain in the ass.
David FTrain staff on U-Haul specific computer system. Only 1 of 3 were able to operate the system efficiently.
William MWhen checking out the app crashed on me several times and would not allow me to submit photos and then automatically completed the order. Dropped the keys in the lock box at 8:45 PM the night before it was due. Everything with the process went well.

Cindy PI had a military move where I had to relocate from Norfolk to San Diego. I had rented a Ram2500 to haul my personal vehicle. The gentleman who attached the transporter attached it incorrectly which if left the same, could have been dangerous. I went back to ask for help because I received a new vehicle and the store manager at the time helped me fix the issue. In Pensacola the leaf springs on the right side of the trailer completely cracked. Again, extremely dangerous and could have been fatal. In El Paso while driving on 10 West, 2 tires blew and there was a fire to the driver side of the transporter. Roadside assistance was absolutely AMAZING and helped me make the replacement process easier but I am not happy with the worn out equipment that I was issues in Norfolk and again in Pensacola. Finally in the El Paso Uhaul, Reuben ensured that I had the safest transporter to get me to my final destination. He took the time to give me new tires and grease and clean nuts and bolts. Thank you for your assistance Reuben.

Shane PThe truck i was given was in bad shape(all sides). When I got my final bill they had charged me for 4 days Instead of the two I actually used it. Now they won’t fix their mistake.
billy hThe only issue that I had was that the driver's side of the truck was damaged on the driver's side and a portion of the siding was sticking off the truck like a "V" and there was a piece of tape holding it onto the truck. I was only renting the truck for a couple of hours and traveling less than 15 miles so I decided that I wasn't going to worry about it. Bad move on my part! As I was driving the piece of siding that was sticking out went flying off the truck. Fortunately, there were no vehicles around that could have been hit by the metal. I told the office staff what had happened and they mentioned that the truck had just been returned and hadn't been checked in. Other than that the truck ran well and the staff was friendly and easy to work with.

Michael HThe people in the office at this location don't even work for Uhaul! They just stared at me when I asked where to put the keys. This is the second time I have dropped off a truck here and they are always rude.
Renee TThough the "U-Haul" rep was not present, another employee step in and was able to complete my rental agreement without delay. Rental trailer driven 400 miles without incident. Drop off location was close by and attendant was courteous, professional and attentive.
