Tank was empty, had to move vehicle to get it, worst experience ever. Put me 2 hours behind schedule and i had to pay 300 to my movers to stay longer.... uhaul needs to step up thier game!! Contact me asap, i would love to talk to a manager. 9057670143 Brandy

I have been using Uhaul truck for a while and have been to many locations, but this location was one of the worst location i have ever been, No customer service, they guy who work there is so rude and didn’t like to talk to client, absolutely disgusting. The location was so messy, need to clean up a bit. The parking space was so tight, it was so hard to get the truck out of there. Overall I don’t recommend this location at all, better to go to warden/401 location much better, clean and nice customer service.

This location doesn’t know how to run a rental business. They rely heavily on the mobile check-in process but aren’t familiar with the system. They make it difficult to reach them over the phone and overall it’s just a poor customer experience.

There is long process for taking out the truck at night. Is freezing outside we weren’t able to keep our hand’s outside to complete the process. It was hell of difficult and will most probably never use it again

Explain to customer what needed to be done before leaving location. E.g. lock on truck was not given combination to customer. Also gas level not accurately recorded when returned.

Terrible. Will be calling to complain soon. Got there at 11am and they didn’t leave the key in the lockbox. Had to wait on hold for an hr only to be told to go to another location because they screwed up.

There was nobody present there to help us. They do not have anybody present Saturday or Sundays. Had to go online and there were too many steps. However, when I called the customer services were nice and very helpful.

Not charge for gas when it's returned to the right level

I have a terrible experience with uhaul for that contract. I rented a van that suppose to pick up at 1:15pm and when i went there, the counter was closed. I talked to the person on JW Auto and they said they didn't see anyone for uhaul from the morning. I checked in online and selected the vehicle i want to pick up, confirmed it over the web and the instructions said i need to go to counter to pickup the key. so again, i stuck. Waiting in front of UHaul's counter with no one around, My card was charged, my moving time was delayed and I was not able to get in to the van. After waiting more than half an hour, the uhaul representative appeared and i got the key at 2PM. I was delayed on my schedule and rushed to get in the van and later found the whole van smells like raw-meat and blood. It is totally unacceptable to hand me over a van which is more of a garbage carrier. My boxes, clothes and items all got dirty. I called the uhaul to report it and they just informed me that they will let the representative know. This is a serious health hazard I had to deal with it. Apart from covid safety cleaning, there was no cleaning and on top of that bloody meat smell with debris, i believe this is a serious violation of consumer health and safety. Later on when I returned the van at around 7:30PM, the representative was there and I handed over the key to him, asking him if there is anything i have to at my end before leaving, he said it is good. Now when I get the bill today, I can see a 20$ convenience fee has been added for verifying it on next business day. I do not get this part. I didn't drop off the key to after hour deposit box, handed over it to the representative, and also asked him if I need to do anything to check out, and got clear words that I am good to go, and then on the next day I got billed. Even if I was informed that this is an after hour return, I would verify equipment return on my mobile. There was not a single experience I got for this contract that I can take as a good experience. I am looking for a good clarification about handing me a the dirty blood strain and smelly van when I was kept waiting outside at the time of my pickup.

U-Haul did not prepare my reservation and leave my keys in the box, forcing me to go to a further location and spend more on the distance charge and gas, told me I could return the truck any time that night but did not tell me there will be a $20 after-hours service charge, and did not even issue a $50 reservation guarantee amount promised. Worst first experience with U-Haul

Truck was filthy. Definitely wouldn’t use that location again. They also ripped me off with the gas. I did not use 14 liters of gas.

Please make sure the vehicle is clean before giving it to customers. The guy was nice. He helped us to park during our return. but not enough parking space

This was by far the worst rental experience. Took over an hour to pick up the rental. App and website has multiple glitches. Business dosnt answer phone. U-Haul phone lines are busy and no one answers. 2 people were on hold for 45 min and hung up because it was pointless. Extremely teadious and unnessesary pick up procedure. I don't think I will ever rent with u haul if no representative is present.

I was never contacted for the location change and found out when I went to pick up the van. This lot is not suitable for vans, I watched another van crash into their own car trying to exit their spot. I was then charged for over 150km more than I used and the owner stated it was an “error” He then tried to reverse a 150 dollar charge and ended up charging my card twice. I will never use uhaul again in my life. I would rather pay more for any other company. Adds unnecessary stress to a moving day

It was really strange to have the rental truck in one location and the supplies in another location. At least force customers to have the rental and supplier in same location. It is really a disappointing to find this out when you arrive to pick up the truck.

We requested a trolley, and truck came within it - but I was charged for it. When we returned the truck, lot was full, so we couldn't follow the online instructions to park within the lot.

Alter the location. Parking was almost impossible it was so tight and lighting invited a mugging. Add to that I followed your instructions and set the emergency brake which promptly seized up and did not allow me to move the vehicle to take the necessary pictures at the end of the rental. Also one of the tires was low. I don’t feel I should have to keep putting air in tires throughout my rental day. Also because the emergency brake wouldn’t come off I had to exit the vehicle through a tiny opening leading to a rotator cuff (shoulder) injury.

It was my first time renting Uhaul. For 16 kilometres drive, I refill 5 bucks oil and they told me it was not enough and charged me extra 16 bucks. Now I had to pay 21 bucks for fuel for driving 16 kilos. Ha ha ha lol. Overall It was worst experience. He manipulated the milage while note down. The owner seems drunk all the time. I won’t suggest anyone. Thanks
