The trailer had no landing gear. It is absolutely ridiculous that in order to hook up the trailer I had to literally lift it and place it. Put landing gear on your trailers.

This is the second unit I have taken from Edmonton to Kamloops that didn't have working windshield wipers and poor high beams

The only issue we had was minor. We got dropped off and our ride left. Then we found out the office was about a 10 min walk from where our truck was parked. Oops! Oh well, the agent was very friendly and explained things properly. No issues with the truck, easy return.

Maybe add some more signage with a clear uhaul logo (big big) and some instructions somewhere. Since it’s just a drop point it seemed like we were just abandoning the trailer in some lot.

This location was very accommodating when another location cancelled a vehicle last-minute. One note that the truck that we were provided had old rotting food in the glove box, so just letting you know so the issues can hopefully be rectified for future customers! Thanks very much

When a customer asks your name, it is courteous to be honest, even if it is difficult for a person to pronounce, I do try to make an effort, I was told 3 different names for the nice guy manning the desk (one (presumably his real name) by his coworker). Good experience overall!

There was confusion on the pickup location. The first location was on my way and changed to a location out of my way. The guy was good but the trailer was at another location. I used it for 3 hours and returned it to my location just outside the city. The return location had no idea about the trailer. He also ran the grocery store. I got a message from U-Haul that my drop off was in the city limits. The price in the city was $20 and I was charged $50. I called and no one had any idea. The grocery store after 20 minutes said just drop off the trailer and leave. The equipment was good and I understand the sub dealers are busy but it was a confusing ordeal. It isn’t isolated .When I rented in NewYork the arranged location was 2 blocks away ended up being on the opposite end of Manhattan

When we picked up the trailer the guy at the front desk came out and just kicked the tires and said “yep, they’re good”. 45 mins later when we got the trailer home and started packing it, the rear left tire went flat. I called the guy at the pick up center and he told me to “bring it back”… how…? I had a flat tire. They eventually sent someone out to replace the tire. The repair guy told us all 4 tires were super low on tread and need to be replaced but U-Haul wouldn’t authorize changing all 4 tires. Two days later we get three hours down the road with the trailer and just didn’t feel comfortable driving 3000 kms across the country with the tires in the shape they were in so we called U-Haul to have them replaced. They sent out another guy to replace the remaining tires but ended up only fixing 1 more tire. We were told the other 2 just pass the required tread rate but he said that in 1000kms they will no longer pass but he can’t do anything about that. I paid over 1000$ for this trailer and it was awful. Was super squeaky and it clearly had not been well maintained. I would absolutely not rent another trailer from U-Haul again. To U-Haul: wouldn’t it be easier and cheaper to maintain your trailers at a shop rather than constantly having to call out 3rd party maintenance companies to fix these crap trailers you rent out? Also… if you do rent one… make sure you check that all the lug nuts are torqued to spec. Ours were not and we had to do it ourselves. GARBAGE COMPANY.

We had to go to one address and do the paperwork and then follow the guy several blocks to a hotel where the trailer was. And this was not the location that we requested. It was much further than we planned on going to pick up the trailer and we have no idea why.

This drop-off location was confusing to find. I was expecting a convenience store location, but found only an abandoned hotel with other U-Haul trucks and trailers at the site. I had to phone the Mini Mart to be sure this was the correct drop-off and to learn where to leave the truck key.

My online reservation has requested a pick up much closer to my location than this one, but in the end it was fine. It is a small store, so do not assume that you can purchase a lock for the back of the the truck

They said that, I could return the trailer anywhere, which ,I did and then I was told I may be charged as I did not drive 3 hours to return to the place on my contract. They also failed to inform me that the place I picked to return it to on the site no longer existed.

Garbage in the truck and no gas in truck. I had to pay $130 + for a 3 day rental to get a uhaul for 49 hours and only drove 22m and it cost me $100 to fill the tank of gas. Not impressed Will recommend budget or anyone be4 uhaul ever again. From beginning to end at least 20 different people only 1 person was remotely helpful.

I was disappointed as at the time of booking and pick up we were told unlimited miles and then had to pay when dropping of cause they stated we went over my 13 miles. This should have been highlighted during booking and upon pick up.

The drop-off location was an unmarked parking lot, only a little bit intuitive because there were 3 other U-haul units there. I was unsure that it was the correct drop-off location, so I called the u-haul phone number. That person was really helpful; she was excellent, and she maybe called someone/the dealer because before I was done disconnecting the trailer someone showed up and was very helpful. All-in-all the drop-off was fine, but it might not have been if someone in a similar situation had less patience. Marking the location with a sign would be helpful.

Uhaul changed my pick up location and truck type 2 days prior my pick up, and I made my original reservation a month ago. The new pick up location is 30 minutes driving from my original pick up location. When I pick up the truck, I noticed windshield is crack, side mirror is crack, interior is kind of dirty, and nobody informed me about the damage upon check in. If the orgianl pick up location not availble dont confirmed at the beginning. I ordered 10" truck, and they gave me 15" truck instead, which I dont need that big truck. To make things worst, the pick up address they gave me was wrong, I end up at a hotel, and hotel front desk told me need to go pick up at different address which 3 blocks away. Same for drop off location, U haul sent me a different drop off location that was not my original drop off. After all, very confusing experience.

I do love renting from uhaul, snd it has usually been good, but the guy that was there to help was the worst kind of a human been you could ever deal with, so much attitude and give us so much grief, he was kind of calling us stupid for being able to close the sliding door because it was getting stuck and we didn't want to force open it, and when we returned the equipment, it was again difficult to disconnect, and he said he doesn't want to help, and we shauld just do it ourselves, when we told him to call his boss or we would call uhaul, he said he would only do it this time and never allow us to rent from him again. It was so frustrating, since we were having the funeral and we were moving all the deceased items, and this guy had to make it more difficult for no reason

I would recommended going to an actual U-Haul Location. They charge more for accessories and other things you need for moving, higher than an actual U-Haul place. Tried to reserve a cargo trailer over the phone but said they don't have it but online it said they do. So I made a reservations online and it did end up that they do have one available to rent. It was very confusing talking to the guy at K Mini Mart. Good thing I was able to talk to the U-Haul Representative. I recommended going somewhere else to rent a Uhaul, this place is not good.
