Very unprofessional . No clear markings to who to see or what to to do . couldn't drop using app had to come back to location to make sure contract had indifferent customer service.

Mark DThere was no location. It was a parking lot. No store front. It was off-putting and unexpected. I had selected a different location but then I was called and informed that it did not have the right trailer size the day before I was set to pick it up. Coming in from out of town that was not welcome. The person running the "location" was in an extra-ordinary hurry and rushed us through. We did a poor walk around and we only discovered the massive bald spot on one of the tires when we stopped to pick up our load. The bald spot was on the ground when we picked up the trailer, I have my suspicions that was on purpose by the dealer. I am not pleased with the experience at all.

Jan GVendor was in inappropriate clothing (broken sandals and sweatpants with holes in them) and was rude, didn’t have a check in counter and “K mini mart” didn’t exist. I just had to walk up to his grey car parked off to the side of a hotel. Very weird vibes and would NOT recommend this location.

Janice EMay 30 2025 - Disappointing BS operation. Due to the dynamic pricing of a basic trailer from Edmonton to Victoria costing $711!!! I'm not buying the trailer but only using it for three days. After 1.5 hours negotiating with the "traffic" department and two stores in Edmonton, I was offered a 20% discount bringing the total to $570. And get this, to reduce the price the traffic department recommended I take the IN TOWN day rate of $20 and drive it to Victoria and back. Completely broken non-customer centric business. When I finally did get the trailer two hours late, it was dirty, had someone else's discarded junk in it and the latch/locking mechanism was bent preventing it from locking. Unfortunately I had to pack and leave that day so had to suffer through this experience.

Jophet MThe trailer had no landing gear. It is absolutely ridiculous that in order to hook up the trailer I had to literally lift it and place it. Put landing gear on your trailers.

Douglas WThe only issue we had was minor. We got dropped off and our ride left. Then we found out the office was about a 10 min walk from where our truck was parked. Oops! Oh well, the agent was very friendly and explained things properly. No issues with the truck, easy return.
Normand BMaybe add some more signage with a clear uhaul logo (big big) and some instructions somewhere. Since it’s just a drop point it seemed like we were just abandoning the trailer in some lot.

Stephanie KWhen a customer asks your name, it is courteous to be honest, even if it is difficult for a person to pronounce, I do try to make an effort, I was told 3 different names for the nice guy manning the desk (one (presumably his real name) by his coworker). Good experience overall!

Cheryl DThere was confusion on the pickup location. The first location was on my way and changed to a location out of my way. The guy was good but the trailer was at another location. I used it for 3 hours and returned it to my location just outside the city. The return location had no idea about the trailer. He also ran the grocery store. I got a message from U-Haul that my drop off was in the city limits. The price in the city was $20 and I was charged $50. I called and no one had any idea. The grocery store after 20 minutes said just drop off the trailer and leave. The equipment was good and I understand the sub dealers are busy but it was a confusing ordeal. It isn’t isolated .When I rented in NewYork the arranged location was 2 blocks away ended up being on the opposite end of Manhattan
Russell GWhen we picked up the trailer the guy at the front desk came out and just kicked the tires and said “yep, they’re good”. 45 mins later when we got the trailer home and started packing it, the rear left tire went flat. I called the guy at the pick up center and he told me to “bring it back”… how…? I had a flat tire. They eventually sent someone out to replace the tire. The repair guy told us all 4 tires were super low on tread and need to be replaced but U-Haul wouldn’t authorize changing all 4 tires. Two days later we get three hours down the road with the trailer and just didn’t feel comfortable driving 3000 kms across the country with the tires in the shape they were in so we called U-Haul to have them replaced. They sent out another guy to replace the remaining tires but ended up only fixing 1 more tire. We were told the other 2 just pass the required tread rate but he said that in 1000kms they will no longer pass but he can’t do anything about that. I paid over 1000$ for this trailer and it was awful. Was super squeaky and it clearly had not been well maintained. I would absolutely not rent another trailer from U-Haul again. To U-Haul: wouldn’t it be easier and cheaper to maintain your trailers at a shop rather than constantly having to call out 3rd party maintenance companies to fix these crap trailers you rent out? Also… if you do rent one… make sure you check that all the lug nuts are torqued to spec. Ours were not and we had to do it ourselves. GARBAGE COMPANY.
Shardae JWe had to go to one address and do the paperwork and then follow the guy several blocks to a hotel where the trailer was. And this was not the location that we requested. It was much further than we planned on going to pick up the trailer and we have no idea why.

Guenther KThis drop-off location was confusing to find. I was expecting a convenience store location, but found only an abandoned hotel with other U-Haul trucks and trailers at the site. I had to phone the Mini Mart to be sure this was the correct drop-off and to learn where to leave the truck key.

ANNE CThey said that, I could return the trailer anywhere, which ,I did and then I was told I may be charged as I did not drive 3 hours to return to the place on my contract. They also failed to inform me that the place I picked to return it to on the site no longer existed.
Rhonda HGarbage in the truck and no gas in truck. I had to pay $130 + for a 3 day rental to get a uhaul for 49 hours and only drove 22m and it cost me $100 to fill the tank of gas. Not impressed Will recommend budget or anyone be4 uhaul ever again. From beginning to end at least 20 different people only 1 person was remotely helpful.
Colleen LI was disappointed as at the time of booking and pick up we were told unlimited miles and then had to pay when dropping of cause they stated we went over my 13 miles. This should have been highlighted during booking and upon pick up.
Daryl BThe drop-off location was an unmarked parking lot, only a little bit intuitive because there were 3 other U-haul units there. I was unsure that it was the correct drop-off location, so I called the u-haul phone number. That person was really helpful; she was excellent, and she maybe called someone/the dealer because before I was done disconnecting the trailer someone showed up and was very helpful. All-in-all the drop-off was fine, but it might not have been if someone in a similar situation had less patience. Marking the location with a sign would be helpful.
