Verlyn WI rented the truck from a pickup place 1 mile from my parents apt in Norfolk, NE. U-haul CHANGED the pickup location to 6 miles from my parents apt. Also, when I picked up the Truck they DID NOT have 24 blankets that I had requested when I rented it online well over a week prior. I had to drive the truck 10 miles clear across town to get the blankets from another U-Haul place in Norfolk. Then, I had to drive the truck another 4 miles to get back to my parents apt in Norfolk. I wasted WELL over a gallon of gas at MY COST because U-haul did not honor my original pickup location. WHY??? Now, please read comments below which tie into these comments.

daniel mI picked it up early in the morning. The owner went and started the truck up and brought it to my vehicle, so it would warm up and would be ready to go while i did paper work, very helpful!

Darrin NTHE RIGHT TAILGATE LIGHTS DID NOT WORK ON THE TRAILER AND THEY SHOULD HAVE BEEN CHECKED BEFORE I LEFT. VERY DISAPPOINTED THAT I DROVE OVER A THOUSAND MILES WITH LIGHTS THAT I PAID TO BE WORKING.
tammy bI had reserved a 20 foot truck to be picked up in Grand Island Nebraska in the morning on June 29 I recieved an email telling me to call and was told that if I wanted to get a truck before 7pm the 29th I would have to drive to Norfolk and get one, yes I was given an extra day and an extra 130 miles because I had to go get it the 28th but between the fuel in my vehicle and the truck it cost me an extra 70 dollars in fuel costs, also I requested a 2 wheel dolly the one that I was given had a weld spot broke so was unusable will not be using Uhaul services again

heather wmy pick up location was moved over 10 miles from the original spot with multiple pick up locations in the same town. I was not informed that I had to verify on my smart phone to get the key and after trying for over an hour was forced to call and be put on hold before being taken care of. After this they called me the next day asking where the truck was and it had been reserved for 4 days. After dropping off the vehicle I got another call asking if I was bringing back the truck. They don't know what there doing!

Brent HU Haul needs to provide a lift jack on the hitch of the trailers. My husband hurt his back lifting the hitch of the ball when returning the trailer.
