Today we had one of the brand-new 20' trucks and it was perfect! Easy to drive even though it's longer; holds a lot more and makes it easy to move things around inside w/all the extra space. Totally worth it!!!

What can I say, made the reservation for 3 days, changed it to 4 then changed to 2 days. Totally accommodating all the way and then needed to extend again but “our truck” had already been reserved. They provided a different truck that was perfect for our job upon return of the original truck. Seamless transfer. Incredible service. There was a line at the office window yet we were checked in and Re-checked our within less than 5 minutes including time waiting in line! Best truck rental experience ever. Mahalo for your amazing service and smiling employees! Makes our day that much better. :)) #goldstar

So easy and convenient—and when you just get their deluxe insurance you never have to waste time inspecting a truck TWICE, getting your insurance faxed over and waiting for additional paperwork...just to save $14. A terrific experience all around. The vehicle we selected was ready on time; the staff made sure to spell out all the details and gave special instructions on filling up the gas (apparently it’s tricky!)—they are so detail oriented I wish I could hire them myself! We used their deluxe insurance for only $28 (peace of mind and if we had an incident, to no we could just call Marlene and they would handle everything was a relief…! What a waste of time it would be to have to deal with our own insurance company and claims… And did know about “loss of use of vehicle”??? ...you might still end up paying!) They just make everything so easy and quick I can’t believe anyone would do it any other way. Even the turn-in process (If you get their insurance) is lightning fast! Very well-run local operation. We definitely recommend them AND APPRECIATE THEM!!

Bottom line up front, I fully recommend NOT renting from this location. After my experience with this Uhaul location I was absolutely appalled at how rude and condescending the clerk was upon return of the vehicle. The service was good when I picked up the vehicle but it was night and day in the difference between the clerk at pick up and and the one at drop off. First off, the contract states to top off the tank prior to return within a mile of the Uhaul, reasonable as they then have the tank full with less than a mile of travel since top off. I returned the vehicle on time and filled up the tank as specified. I had filled up the night prior closer to my home where the cost was $0.40 cheaper per gallon so there was maybe a gallon that was needed to top it off the next morning at the higher rate. The clerk scrutinized the gallons vs the miles driven and i explained that it was the amount of top off and i filled up earlier. She told me that she wanted to see the other receipt to match gallons to the miles, a bit more nit-picky than necessary as the gauge read more than full and I had “topped” it off but ok. The gas pump near home didnt print a receipt and i didnt have time to go in to get one so I offered to show her the bank statement showing the transaction which calculated out to be the right number of gallons. Her response was, no kidding, “I guess we’ll take you at your word”. Im not sure if she was looking for an excuse to charge me the difference between my receipt and the gallons that 30 miles would burn at 8 MPG or if she wanted me to go try to get 4 gallons into a full tank, but there was definitely a better way to handle the misinterpretation of their top off policy and required documentation requirements. If they wanted every gas receipt for the duration of the rental, state that. They stated they wanted the receipt showing that I stopped at a station within a mile and topped it off before handing it back in. I accept blame that I didnt consider they were going to run my reciept through an algorithm on the miles traveled and fuel consumption rates to ensure I put in a very specific number of gallons. Every other rental company asks that the gauge reads full when you bring it back, done and done within they 1 mile rule. She then mentioned that maybe they need to review the wording of the contract to be more clear, to which I concurred. Rather than dropping it, she snidely stated that I wouldnt have to worry about renting from them again so it shouldnt be a problem. So after liteterally arguing with me about my interpretation of the wording of their policy and talking to me like I was not intelligent enough to understand the intent of their policy, I dropped to subject as it was not going anywhere fast. Also, the truck was beat to all hell on the exterior.
