Horrible customer service. They were incredibly rude about needing a dolly. It just seemed like they were inconvenience by the ihaul side of the business

It took quite a while to get the truck despite taking care of everything online several days before.

larry eEveryone, every policy, every rental place need to be on the same page. We were told this, but when you call uhaul we are told that. I thought calling would be faster and maybe more precise on pricing and location, but no the lady that set us up, set us up for failure. I only had so much time to pickup a shipment a couple of hours away from where I live, figured I’d rent a uhaul, pickup shipment, and leave the uhaul close to my store so that I could have my shipment put out on the floor before closing. But because the rep did not do as I asked her for the pick up and drop off of the truck, a 2 hour job turned into a 10 hour job. Uhaul got what they wanted meanwhile costing me out the ass on time and money. Oh did I mention the truck was on E when I picked it up? And was told to make sure I put gas in it when I drop it off and I would get a credit!!! 6 days later I haven’t heard a word from uhaul!!! Good bye uhaul you will never have the pleasure of my business again

Steven SOur U-Haul experience with particular UHaul dealer was absolutely horrible. He overcharged us not only once but twice. I called the customer service line 5 times regarding this move. My daughter recently moved from Texas to Tennessee last December. That move went perfectly. The dealer where we rented her UHaul were absolutely helpful and kind. This dealer at the Karki was extremely rude and argumentative. He would not accept what the representative had shared with us about the cost of the truck. We were only supposed to pay $89 upfront to rent the truck. He charged my companion $409!!!!! He did so due to it being a Sunday and no other U-Haul stores were open. My companion begrudgingly paid the money due to the fact I had to out of my residence by August 1st. We have never been treated with much disrespect and attitude. We were not going to get a receipt from this guy until my companion threatened legal action. I highly recommend that U-haul disengage doing business with this establishment. He is absolutely ruining the great reputation of this company. We have moved several times over the years. We have always used U-haul. We will NEVER rent a truck from this location again!!! Kimberly KThis location is actually a Shell gas station. The only sign you see, if you even see it, is one that sticks in the ground. Poor location for return especially if there are multiple trucks, as parking is limited.

SHERYL BWas un sure were this location was as gps took you on road behind location. Drop is a shell so was alittle confusing. Staff was very friendly and helpful on check out!

Dana HLocation did not answer the phone for an hour when trying to call to extend rental before return time. Charged twice for dolly after rental extension. Should only be one time payment for use of dolly.

VINCENT eThe truck I rented needs to be serviced at the very least or completely taken off the road. The motor and transmission sounded like it was going to explode. Definitely don't recommend anyone using that particular truck EVER.

Leland RThe issue wasn’t with the place I picked it up. From the get go I picked a place to pick up Carrollton,ky the day before I was told have go to Indiana to get which was 2 hrs from original place. Then find one in frankort which they was very nice and helpful but the truck pulled to the right and the ac would not cool which was awful considering the temp and after moving and packing all day. So my experience was not good at all. The lady where I took truck to was very sweet and helpful in returning.

Hanna GI did not receive the dolly I rented included in the truck. Each time I rent a uhaul, I rent a dolly and I have yet to have it included in the truck. However, I am always charged for such.

FATEMEH SWhen I went to Versailles road to pick up my U-Haul I was unable to check in and made sure two days before that I was was going to be okay and had to go a BP on Versailles Rd because they needed to scan my ID . Also I had to get a bigger one because they didn't have the 10" like I had purchased and had to wait 3 hours to get the one I ended up with because that's the only one available.
joshua rDropped off truck before 8:30am. Receipt showed I dropped it off at 2:19pm. I’ve been charged an extra $40 plus tax because Karki staff didn’t do the paperwork until 6 hours later. That’s borderline fraud. Would not recommend to anyone and I would like the bogus charges and tax refunded

James CI reserved a 20 ft truck, was substituted a 26 ft truck. When I expressed my concerns about gas mileage the clerk was unresponsive. He just said the truck was at 1/2 a tank and I should fill it before I left because his gas was cheaper. Not being familiar with how much gas it we take I filled it up s price of over 60.00. As it turned out that was about 35.00 too much.

William wWent to drop off the uhaul at the name and address given to me through my contract. The name of the location was not the same as the address. It was at a gas station and the attendant acted bothered by the fact that I was dropping off the uhaul there even though there was 3 other uhauls parked at that location. I asked him if this is where i should drop off my uhaul..He just said "Just hand me the key". Which I did and he threw it down on the counter and walked off. So No I would not recommend dealing with Shell Gas Station there.
Rebecca DFirst place did not put reservation in system so when calling UHaul number they did not have truck reserved. Long story but thankfully one location knew how to work the computer and sent me to a location 15 miles down the road to pick up truck. It was an hour wait to even get to the counter for help. ( Gas Station). It was horrible and the guy barely spoke English. Come on- you guys can do better than this!!

Sharon CMake sure Coke is spilled all over the truck and the guy running the cash register knows what he's doing. And over charged us for a 1/4 tank of gas . He put it was1/2 and it was1/4. But we had just left before it was discovered.
Dennis HI tried to rent in my community but they did not have 10 ft truck that I needed. Tried to talk me into 15 ft for more money. I then had to rent in the next town which was located at a gas station. It took more than a half hour because the clerk waited on at least 20 people while trying to complete my paperwork. He just kept bumping people ahead of me as they came in to buy cigarettes and Red Bull drinks. If I hadn't had people waiting on me to help load my furniture onto the truck, I would have walked away. This was one of the worst examples of customer service I've ever experienced. I will never use UHaul again.

Zachery Hthis location is a gas station, not well stocked if any accessories at all, the person checking us in although very apt with the process also had to operate the gas station making the process very long and tiresome for me as well as the patrons of the gas station.

Brandon IThe clerk was super hateful & did not want to even deal with the rental. He sent us all over town & did not know how to operate his own system we had to look things up for him. He sent us up the street & when U-Haul sent us back there he said he could NOT help us that we needed to go away I will NEVER go there again it took 2 hours to get our truck & we were the only one there!! .
Carmen RU-Haul Neighborhood Dealer personnel was not trained on rental system, printer was not working, I asked for 24 hours and it was cut down to less than 12 without my knowledge, I had to call and get it changed back to 24 when I noticed the discrepancy. When I returned the equipment, he told me I was late and was supposed to bring it back the evening before. I had to explain to him that he changed it on me and I had to call to have it corrected. He then told me his printer did not work so I could not get receipt. I took pictures of the dolly returned at the store and had him sign a receipt stating that I returned on time and would not be charged anything else. It was a VERY good thing I did, because I got a call a few days later asking where the dolly was. When I looked in the system at my contract, I saw they had put me on an Alert and were trying to charge me $75 more for a missing dolly! It took me 2-3 phone calls and another week to get all this straightened out and the Alert removed. The manager of the dealership tried to charge me for 13 days of rental! I was SOOO glad to have all my proof. Make and Keep your proof, folks! Deal with U-Haul centers whenever possible. The dealers don't know what they're doing!
Stephanye GOperating a uhaul service out of a shell station needs a visible sign as well out front so the customer knows it’s the right location for drop off or pick up.
