The location was great, and the service was good. However, the truck needed an alignment for the steering wheel, the radio did not function as the volume button was broken, and the driver side outside door handle was broken, making it hard to get into the truck. The truck drove fine outside of those issues. Although minor, I figured it was worth mentioning.

Douglas PReservation process was easy and truck met expectations. Intended to rent truck for 24 hours. When checking in, was told I could return the truck in the evening after they closed and wouldn’t be charged a second day. I called to confirm this on the return day. I rearranged my day because of this and I returned the truck after hours. Despite what I was told by 2 different people, I was charged a second day. When I asked about it, I was told it is up to the person the receives the truck and was not offered a resolution. This was by the person that originally told me I could return it when I did. If I would have known I was going to be charged a second day, I would have returned it on time, or kept it for an entire second day. I feel like I was taken advantage of.

JUSTIN MI scheduled my truck pick up at the Streetsboro location. When I got there at 10:00 am, it was closed. No one was there. I called UHaul and my reservation was transferred to Kent. Truck was ready when I got there, but it required extra time and travel to get what I reserved and confirmed in Streetsboro. This added a lot of extra time to my move.

AZAM QHonestly, there was nothing wrong with the location, the staff, or the cleanliness but I don't think I would use Uhaul again. I am 5'2" and I could not move the drivers seat close enough to reach the peddles so I had to sit at the edge of my seat with no back to lean against for over 2 hours of driving. It was not comfortable. I also did not know UHaul only had 2 person bucket seats in all of their vehicles so arriving with two nephews to help me move very heavy furniture meant I had to return one to his house and only make due with one and it took a lot of extra time and hassle and was quite difficult when it came to the lifting of the furniture I bought.

CHRISTOPHER BThis isn't so much against the location as it is Uhaul in general. I had a horrible experience and will never rent Uhaul again. They didn't tell me my pick-up location changed until I was literally driving to pick mu unit up. I show up where I made the reservation only to have to drive another 40 minutes to a different location. Once there, I could not receive the code to get the key. I called the office multiple times and spent a total of about 2 hours on hold before they could finally connect me to the IT specialist that could finally fix the issue. All in al, the process took me 4 hours when in reality I should have had the truck and been back home in less than 1. Then I got a text the night before returning and told me I had to drop off at a different location. Why do you allow me to pick a place based on my location only to tell me at the 11th hour it isn't that location anymore. That is ridiculous. While on highway I noted many other companies that have trucks this size so I will never go through this again. Another lady at the pick up spot was having issues as well.

JADRANKA MWindshield was covered with bugs. In sharp contrast, the team in Rochester, MN at U-Haul Moving and Storage goes out of their way to ensure every truck leaves the lot in clean condition—including the windshield. The truck had over 85,000 miles on it and sounded like the exhaust was blowing against the cab. Might be tolerable for a short local move but this was a 10.5 hour drive from Ohio to Minnesota. The noise level was measured between 75 and 80 dBA. We had to wear earplugs the whole way. My rental was moved from Twinsburg to Kent adding an additional hour of driving. I shared my disappointment with the agent from Kent and I personally believe that he punished me by selecting the truck he provided.
DOMINIC ZThis location was easier to use than the typical U-Haul I go to. I was disappointed that the advertized 15-ft truck I rented was actually only 12 ft 5 in long. I found it in the fine print on the website after the fact but it required me to do twice as much moving and take twice as much time with my four movers. Renting a truck is always a frustrating experience and things like this make your customers lose trust. Call it a 12-ft truck or make it very clear that your 15 ft truck is not 15 ft.

Kate BThe air conditioning in the truck did not work, it is summer that’s a necessity. The truck has shifting into gear issues. The fuel gauge is inaccurate, it stated 1/4 tank and was beeping 50 miles remaining. It took $35 in gas for less than 100 miles. This truck needs an overhaul badly.
STACY SThe sign in and out after hours was not very clear. A code should be given prior to pick up time. The process put us about 45 minutes behind schedule for starting the move.
